VA: Slaying the Dragon Adventure Road Rally, Pulaski

The Slaying The Dragon Road Rally is a games-style road rally based on observation and accuracy. Teams will follow a provided route and locate specific items, landmarks, and details along the way. At each stage, competitors will answer questions based on what they observe. Scoring is determined by the number of correct answers. Highest total score wins.

This is not a timed race and is conducted on open public roads. All traffic laws must be followed.

• Scoring: Total number of correct answers
• Route: Predefined, provided at check-in
• Materials: Rally packet includes route instructions and question sheet
• Team Requirement: Driver + Co-Driver required per vehicle

Schedule

• Check-In Opens: 9:30 AM
• Check-In Closes: 10:45 AM
• Driver’s Meeting: 10:45 AM (mandatory)
• First Car Off: 11:00 AM (staggered start)

Entry Information

• Entry Fee: $20 per vehicle
• Entry is per car, not per individual
• Payment: (add method, e.g., cash / online / SCCA registration link)

Awards

Participants will regroup at the finish location. Awards will be announced after all teams have returned and scoring is completed.

• Valid driver’s license required for driver
• Co-driver/navigation role required
• Street-legal vehicle required
• No special equipment needed
• Participants must obey all traffic laws and drive safely
• This event is designed for all experience levels
