SUMMARY:NJ: Second Hand Roads Divisional Course RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Join the SCCA Northern New Jersey Region on the 85-mile Second Hand Roads Divisional RoadRally with easy-to-follow route instructions. The event will start at Subaru World of Newton (NOTE: This is a new location for 2026). \nFor those looking to enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition their is a Regional Tour event for you. Those wishing to compete for SCCA National Course RoadRally Series points this Divisional event (26-RRDC-66587) will be just the ticket. \nThe Richta GPS Checkpoints system is free to use and will record your arrival time at each checkpoint.  You’ll keep this app open while you run the rally and it will use the GPS signal from your device to record your arrival time at each checkpoint. \nOnce you pass a checkpoint\, the app will automatically calculate your score for that checkpoint and announce it to you!  No more waiting until the end of the rally to see how you did.  You’ll see your score at each checkpoint as you go along. \nGeneral Instructions and details about the Richta GPS Checkpoints App will be emailed to all registered contestants two weeks prior to the event. \nDivisional Entry fee is $35/car. \nRegional Entry fee is $30/Car. \nAnother $20 for weekend membership paid to the National Office if no one on the team is an SCCA member. \nIn-person sign-in starts at 10:00 AM \nDrivers Meeting: 10:45 AM \nTime: First car out at 11:00 AM \nADDITIONAL DETAILS \nEVENT CLASSES \n\nREGIONAL\n\nSOP (Seat of the Pants) – No timing calculations may be performed\, except for comparing your actual time to the car zero time as shown in some route instructions.\nNovice – Same equipment restriction as SOP\, but in addition neither contestant may have competed in five or more TSD rallies.\nBeginner –   Same equipment restriction as SOP\, but in addition neither contestant may have competed in more than one TSD rally.Regional trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd per class.\n\n\n\n\nDIVISIONAL\n\nPer the SCCA RoadRally Rules – Equipped\, Limited\, GPS and Stock – Microsoft Word – RRRs Abridged- 2023 Dec 23 2022 (connectsites.net)\nDivisional Course Points will be based on the RRRs\nTrophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd per class. SUMMARY:NJ: NJ Highlands Coalition Spring Car Trek
DESCRIPTION:Join the New Jersey Highlands Coalition for an educational driving tour through Sussex\, Morris\, and Passaic Counties to explore the history of the Ramapough Lenape in the northern Highlands.  \n\n\n\nEnjoy a drive through the Highlands Core Forest on the Spring Car Trek\, 320 square miles of the most mature and least fragmented forest in the northern part of the state. The Trek will include Wanaque Reservoir and areas of historical importance to the Ramapough Lenape near Mahwah including ceremonial lands\, the Green Valley Settlement\, and a trading post. \n\n\n\nParticipants will check in at Subaru World of Newton between 10:00 and 10:45 to receive their tour packet and turn-by-turn directions before setting out in their personal vehicles to drive the route. The Trek will conclude at approximately 1:00 PM\, with an option to meet fellow Trekkers for lunch at a local eatery. \n\n\n\nRegistration opens February 5th – Click Here to Sign Up!
