SUMMARY:WI: Roads Scamper National Tour Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180 mile time-speed-distance National Tour RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads north of Madison\, Wisconsin.\n\n\n\nThis rally will use the Richta GPS Checkpoint app. Contestants will download the app to their smartphone in advance of the rally. During the rally this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!!  No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did.\n\n\n\nA bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide you with many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations. Expect at least 100 checkpoints in this 180-mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone in order to run this event. If you’re planning to run another rally app during the event\, you’ll need to do that on a separate device. The Richta GPS checkpoint app needs to be the only app running on your phone during the rally.\n\n\n\nThis is a tour type rally\, so there are no tricks or traps.\n\n\n\nThere is a 25 car limit on this rally and we expect it will sell out.\n\n\n\nStarting location:  Country Inn and Suites \n\n\n\nSchedule: Check-in – 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM Sunday\, June 5\, 2022 \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off – 8:31 AM  First Car Finished – Approx 3:45 pm  \n\n\n\nCost:  $85/car for SCCA members\,  $95/car if neither contestant is an SCCA member\, 2 people per car required. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event\, and head to Motorsportreg.com for more info. SUMMARY:WI: Milwaukee Region Roads Scholar National Course Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180 mile time-speed-distance National Course RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads west of Madison\, Wisconsin. \n\n\n\nYou’ll be tested on your ability to observe\, reason\, maintain the assigned average speeds\, and follow explicit directions. This year’s event will use both Numbered and Lettered Route Instructions. There will be a variable Main Road rule. Experienced rallyists will find this rally to be one of the easier National Course rallies of the year. However\, it is not recommended for people who have never rallied before. It would be like a first-time skier attempting a blue diamond (moderate difficulty) ski trail.\n\n\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. \n\n\n\nHeadquarters Hotel:  Country Inn and Suites. A block of rooms with 2 queen beds has been reserved for contestants at a special rate of $75/night plus tax\, but only until May 14th.  This includes a hot breakfast buffet. Ask for ‘SCCA Car Rally’ to get this rate. \n\n\n\nSchedule: Check-in – 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off – 8:31 AM  Saturday \n\n\n\nFirst Car Finished – Approx 5:30 pm \n\n\n\nCost:  $85/car for SCCA members\, $95/car if neither contestant is an SCCA member. Two people per car is required. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event. SUMMARY:WI: Roads Scholar National Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Roads Scholar National Course Rally on Saturday\, June 11th\, will be a scenic 200 mile rally through the marvelous country roads west of Madison. Designed for experienced rallyists who are familiar with the RRR’s\, it will have a fixed main road rule (Onto\, Protection\, T-rule\, SAP) and some Either/Or instructions. It will not have LRI’s\, Aristotle traps\, or ‘Absence of the sign’ traps. The course uses both paved and high quality unpaved roads that are fun to drive. Speeds are moderate and the emphasis is on course following. \n\n\n\nHeadquarters: Country Inn & Suites by Carlson – Madison West\, 2212 Deming Way\, Middleton\, WI (608-831-6970). A block of rooms with 2 queen beds will be held until May 19th at a special rate of $79/night plus tax.
