The United States Road Rally Challenge, sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America over November 9-11th, was known to be the event days out, yet “who” would it be?
Rich Bireta, reached out a few days before Rallymaster Joe Akerman’s Thunder Road, which was the first day of the three-day weekend with this message, “The 400,000th timeslip in the Richta GPS Checkpoints system will be created this Saturday in Southern California during the Thunder Road USRRC event.”
Today we learned that the father-daughter team of Tom Gould and Lisa Gould, running car #8, scored a “0” at checkpoint #52. Sounds like a perfect score for the winners of the 400,000 honor to us! Congratulations to the Goulds and Richta GPS Checkpoints!
