It all has to start somewhere and my first Rallyemaster attempt happened way back in 1962. It was named Fantasia after one of my favorite movies up to that time. Valley Forge Motor Club started out as an employee membership part of the General Electric Recreation Association, based at their Missile & Space Vehicle Department in King of Prussia, PA.
My main memory is that of a spelling error that lost everyone on the last leg. No TAs back then. I will remember always until they put ‘flours’ on my grave that Hazelwood Ave in Thorndale is not spelled Hazlewood. Note the entry fee indicative of the era.
