DESCRIPTION:The Finger Lakes Region Mayer May Not Be Slippy RoadRally is a 185-mile road rally on paved and unpaved roads through Erie\, Wyoming\, Cattaraugus\, and Allegany counties. In keeping with the Winter Rally Series format\, this is an evening TSD rally run at speeds within the local speed limits. \n\n\n\nSnow tires are recommended (all-season tires may limit your speed group eligibility)Tow rope/strap and 90 minutes of flares or one DOT triangle are required to compete. \n\n\n\nThe Rally starts at Mighty Taco Restaurant and will finish at Wallenwein’s Hotel\, 641 Oakwood Avenue\, East Aurora\, NY 14052. \n\n\n\n$45/car plus $15 for each non-SCCA member in the carEquipped\, Limited\, Stock\, and Novice classesInstead of using open (manned) controls as is typical for the FLR Winter Rally Series\, this event will use the Richta GPS Checkpoint system for timing and scoring. \n\n\n\nSchedule \n\n\n\n\nCheck-in and Tech Inspection: 2:30 – 3:30 PM\n\n\n\nDriver’s Meeting: 3:40 PM\n\n\n\nFirst car off: 4:01 PM\n\n\n\nFirst car finish: approx. 10:00 PM\n\n\n\n\nFor additional information\, contact Rallymaster Karl Mayer.

SUMMARY:NY: SCCA Finger Lakes Region Fall Fling Rally
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual Fall Fling Road Rally\, hosted by the Finger Lakes Region SCCA. This Time / Speed / Distance (TSD) rally will serve as a great introduction to the sport\, as well as provide veteran rallyists a chance to dust off their skills in advance of our Winter Series starting in December. This is a ±70-mile tour-style rally on mostly paved roads (some gravel) with amazing scenery! \n\n\n\nFor this event\, we will be running two classes: Experienced and Novice\, and one speed group: C-Speed (36 mph). We will be using the Richta GPS timing and scoring application\, so please check www.flr-scca.com/road-rally for App installation instructions. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $25/car\, plus $15 for each non-SCCA member in the car. All Registration will be conducted though MotorsportReg.com until 1:00P on rally day. \n\n\n\nEvent Day Details:  \n\n\n\nCheck-In / Tech Inspection: 12:00P – 1:00P \n\n\n\nCompetitor Meeting: 1:10P – 1:20P \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off: 1:31P and returns at approximately 4P \n\n\n\nRequired Equipment: \n\n\n\n\nTow strap/rope\n\n\n\n1 DOT reflective triangle (or 90 minutes of road flares)\n\n\n\nValid drivers license\n\n\n\nProof of insurance\n\n\n\nCurrent state inspection
