Grab a navigator\, pack your favorite playlist\, and join us for the Not My Fault Tour Road Rally – an SCCA Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) Tour Rally that traces the breathtaking scenery of the infamous San Andreas fault line. \nWhether you’re chasing points for the Southern California Road Rally Championship or just looking for a fun Saturday drive\, this is the perfect event for rookies and veterans alike. \n🚗 Event Details \n\nDate: Saturday\, July 11th\, 2026\nTotal Distance: Approximately 120 miles of scenic\, winding roads.\nThe Route: A beautiful Tour rally (no tricks or traps!) following the fault line\, with scheduled breaks in Acton and Palmdale.\n\n⏱️ Schedule of Events \n\n8:30 AM – Registration Opens\n9:30 AM – Competitor Meeting\n10:01 AM – First Car Out\n~1:30 PM – Finish line celebrations\, scoring\, and storytelling.\n\n📍 Locations \n\nStarting Line: Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders Registration is online prior to the event\, yet please check in at 830A outside to receive your route instructions\, but grab a coffee and a pastry to enjoy while you review the Route Instructions.\nFinish Line: La Cabana Mexican Restaurant (2370 Soledad Canyon Rd\, Acton\, CA 93510). SUMMARY:CA: Triple Rally Weekend • Thunder Road and Stage Coach Tours & Highway Robbery Course Road Rallies
DESCRIPTION:The Santa Monica Sports Car Club Chapter\, of the SCCA Cal Club Region welcome you to spend the Memorial Day Weekend with us and take in three rallies: \nTHUNDER ROAD National Tour Rally\, Old Route 66 Edition\, Saturday\, May 23\, 2026\, is a 7-hour Monte Carlo-style format. Rallymaster Joe Akerman has written a very scenic course using most of the best non-urban portions of Old US 66 still remaining in California.  There will be lots of things to keep folks on both sides of the car busy. The Monte Carlo format will include your target time (CZT) at all restarts and checkpoints\, and creeping/stopping will be allowed. Thunder Road will finish about 20 minutes from the Start. \nSTAGECOACH National Tour Rally\, Sunday\, May 24\, 2026\, is a 6-hour SCCA National Tour Rally. Rallymaster Larry Scholnick has written a simple straightforward course through some of the local open country\, canyons and backroads. All checkpoints will be identified in the Route Instructions. Stagecoach will finish with about 25 minutes of the Start. \nHIGHWAY ROBBERY Divisional Course Rally\, Monday\, May 25\, 2026. Rallymaster Jeanne English has written a moderately challenging course utilizing variable Main Road Rules and covering some very exciting and picturesque driving roads. There will be variable main road determinants\, but no more than four at any time (often only two). The Rallymaster expects most teams to do most legs correctly. \nWeekend rally headquarters is the Best Western Plus Ontario Airport and Convention Center\, 209 N Vineyard Avenue\, Ontario\, California 91764. (909) 937-6800 hotel direct.  You can use this link for the rally group rate. \nAlthough we are not sanctioning these events as charity rallies with SCCA\, in honor of our veterans on this Memorial Day\, we are donating a portion of each entry fee to New Directions for Veterans\, a highly rated charity that provides transitional housing\, mental health and substance abuse treatment\, plus job counseling and placement to thousands of homeless veterans here in Southern California.  Check them out at https://ndvets.org/about-us/. \nAll three of these rallies will use the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring.  The maximum penalty on all three rallies is 30 seconds (1/2 minute) per checkpoint. \nTo register for any or all of these 3 rallies\, please click on the event registration link below.
