DESCRIPTION:Find Another Opportunity\, the first TSD RoadRally of the 2023 Rally Season for the Southern Indiana Region\, takes place on Sunday\, February 26th\, by Rallymaster Bob Sonntag. \n\n\n\nThe route is all paved. Not all of it nicely paved; but\, it is all paved…except the antique bridge that’s more planked than paved. The route runs from Hardee’s in Evansville through Vanderburgh\, Warrick\, and Spencer counties to get to Turoni’s Pizza in Newburg\, Indiana. \n\n\n\nIf you’re new to TSD (Time/Speed/Distance) rallies\, plan on being at Hardee’s by noon. The Knox County Knock About Rally is on Sunday\, April 16th\, starting from the Arby’s in Vincennes\, IN. Check-in opens around 12:30 PM\, the Drivers Meeting at 1:00 PM\, and the first car will depart on the course after the Driver’s Meeting. \n\n\n\nThe route\, approximately 107 Km in length\, is just under 2 hours\, and visits to the exotic locals on Verne\, St. Thomas and Iona. CAST (Change Average Speed To) are somewhat brisk but easy to maintain. Roads are in good repair with no gravel. DESCRIPTION:You scream\, I scream\, we all scream for ice cream! \nAnd it’s a double scoop of adventure day with ice cream and a road rally! The World Famous Ice Cream Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA Southern Indiana Region\, takes to the streets on Sunday\, May 18th. \nCheck in at Lic’s Deli and Ice Cream at 1230PM\, an entrant meeting at 1PM-ish\, and the first car departs shortly after the entrant meeting. DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Southern Indiana Region kicks off their rally season on Sunday\, March 8th\, with More Scrambled Legs. The event will start from Hardee’s in Evansville\, and Rallymaster Bob Sonntag encourages you to arrive a little early if this is your first rally or first rally in a long time.; there will be some brief tutoring to make your day more fun!\n\nHere’s the link to information and registration in MSR:  https://msreg.com/2026-RALLY-1. Preregistration is required; there is no onsite registration. Drivers register first and then the Navigator. Please\, do not bring someone who is not registered. Guests should use the SpeedWaiver process during registration.\n\nThe route is all paved. Nearly all of it nicely paved. There’s spot about 40 feet long of “tough winter” and it’s not a problem.\n\nThose with good memories may remember last year’s Scrambled Legs and this second helping is a different take on much of that route.  Oh sure\, there’s a visit to Buente Road\, a touch of Trapp Road\, a little counting of Opps at Ts\, some loops\, and one other little thing to see who will drop shell into their omelet.\n\nAdjustments have been made for the 90s that aren’t “CASTable.”\n\nWith breaks & no mistakes\, the route runs about 97 miles and will take about 3.25 hours to get to Los Bravos on Evansville’s west side.\n\nJoin us and see if\, as a friend put it\, if this rally is all it’s cracked up to be.\n\n\n\n\n
