SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club First Friday Niter Social Roadrally
DESCRIPTION:Time is coming soon for the July First Friday Niter Road Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA\, Cal Club Region\, and the Santa Monica Sports Car Club!  Rallymaster Joe Akerman has written a pure tour course using Monte Carlo-style timing. This is a BEGINNER FRIENDLY event!  It has been created for maximum driving fun and easy navigation. You will get very simple\, turn-by-turn instructions with no tricks\, traps\, or boring average speeds. You will be given “Car Zero Times” at each Checkpoint and exact mileage. So\, no guesswork\, no complicated math. Just add your car number in minutes to the Car Zero Time\, and you will know when to cross each clearly visible Checkpoint sign.  If you get there early\, you may stop or creep without penalty\, so long as you do it safely and out of traffic lanes. \n\n\n\nThis rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing in seconds. This month’s maximum penalty is 60 seconds (1 minute) per leg. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the App Store\, Google Play Store\, or https://richtarally.com/. There is no need for additional timing equipment or clocks – your Official Time shows in the app!  \n\n\n\nIf you want to see all the scores at the Finish\, download the FREE Richta Scoreboard app. \n\n\n\nPlease try to register online here on MotorSportReg. If that doesn’t work for you\, you can still register in person at the start. We start at the Bank of America rear lot; in-person registration opens at 7:00 PM\, with the first car out at 8:01 PM; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 PM. SUMMARY:PA: New Hope Auto Show Every Car Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The New Hope Automobile Show’s Road Rally has become popular. Many people come year after year to compete for trophies and enjoy the challenges of our scavenger hunt. \n\n\n\nCars of all kinds are welcome to participate. Of course\, being The New Hope Automobile Show\, we encourage people to bring their classic cars\, but your everyday car will work just fine. The cost is $60 per car. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we have a very special Road Rally. After you’ve answered all the clues along the route\, you’ll find yourself in one of Bucks County’s most beautiful parks. We invite you to pack a picnic lunch before leaving home. There will not be any places along the route to purchase lunch. You may not bring alcohol into the park. It’s the law. At the park\, there will be a pavilion where you can sit to eat\, or bring a blanket or lawn chairs and spread out on the ground. \n\n\n\nWelcome SCCAThis year\, we’re again teaming up with the Philadelphia Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Their support for our event assures us that it is safe and allows us to continue our road rally for years to come. \n\n\n\nGet a head start.A crucial part of this collaboration with the SCCA will be requiring all participants to complete a temporary SCCA membership form\, which all drivers and navigators must complete before they can drive in the rally. The forms are provided here\, so you can download them\, fill them out\, sign them\, and bring them with you on the morning of the rally.
