SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club First Friday Niter Social Roadrally
DESCRIPTION:Paul McGaffey is the Rallymaster for the March First Friday Niter! The rally will be a Monte Carlo-style event\, sanctioned by the Santa Monica Sports Car Club and the SCCA\, Cal Club Region. \n\n\n\n       ​​​Please come out and join us for the National Pig Day Rally on March 1st. \n\n\n\nOn this day\, we celebrate the pig as an amazing pet! \n\n\n\nThis is a BEGINNER FRIENDLY event! It is created for easy navigation and maximum driving fun through the Santa Monica Mountains. It is perfect for beginners\, as well as people who just want a relaxed drive with a little competition thrown in. \n\n\n\nRallymaster Paul McGaffey has written a pure tour course using Monte Carlo-style timing. You will get very simple\, turn-by-turn instructions with no tricks\, traps\, or boring average speeds. You will be given exact mileages and “Car Zero Times” at each Checkpoint. So\, no guesswork\, no complicated math. Just add your car number in minutes to the Car Zero Time\, and you know when to cross each clearly visible Checkpoint sign. If you get there early\, you may stop or creep without penalty.   \n\n\n\nThe rally finishes at the IHOP at Kanan and the 101 freeway in Agoura Hills. \n\n\n\nThis rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing in seconds. This month’s maximum penalty is 60 seconds per leg. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the App Store\, Google Play Store\, or https://richtarally.com/.
