SUMMARY:MI: Press On Regardless National Tour\, Gaylord
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the SCCA Detroit Region for two 230-mile brisk time-speed-distance\, National Tour RoadRally(s) in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula with a separate sanction for each day. Many historic\, challenging\, and fun roads from the 1960’s and early 70’s Press On Regardless® aka POR will be used. The Richta GPS Checkpoint app will be used for timing. During the rally\, when each car reaches a checkpoint\, the contestant’s device will signal a checkpoint has been reached. The device will then display your time and score (early or late). Your total score for the rally to that point will also be displayed. The cumulative score from both days will determine the overall winner of the 2026 POR. You can expect around 100 checkpoints each day. \nFirst run in 1949\, POR is the oldest continuously run rally in North America. These straightforward (absolutely no traps) Tour RoadRally(s) will use a mix of unpaved (80%) and paved (20%) roads varying from smooth fast gravel roads to tight and technical single lane roads. While not a car breaker\, vehicles with low ground clearance are not recommended. Liberal use of free zones and pauses help you navigate through any rough areas on the route. \nPre-registration is required and closes on Tuesday September 8 at 9:00 PM EST. \n\n30 car limit for each day.\nFriday Press On Regardless\, September 11\, 2026: SCCA member\, $100 per car.\nSaturday Press On Regardless\, September 12\, 2026: SCCA member\, $110 per car.\nNon-members must purchase a Weekend Membership. The cost is $25 per person.\nFree T-Shirts will be provided to competitors that register before August 12\, 2026. Please provide the shirt size for both entrants.\nNovices welcome and encouraged\nPoints toward Detroit Region\, Great Lakes Division SCCA\, and the SCCA National RR Championship\n\nContestants will be asked to enter in one of the following Classes\, as determined by the distance measurement and calculating devices that will be used: \n\nE – Equipment unrestricted.\nG – GPS-derived odometer integrated with any calculating device such as a rally “app” or rally computer.\nL – Odometer unrestricted (including GPS) and calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer.\nS – Unmodified stock odometer only.  Calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer and clock.\nNovice – Same as Class S where the combined TSD rallies between team members is less than 6.\nV- Vintage class for vehicles 25 years or older will run concurrently with any of the other classes for a separate Trophy. Scoring will use a factor (weighted) based on the class entered to “level” the playing field.\n\nHeadquarters Hotel: \n\nBaymont by Wyndham of Gaylord A block of rooms with 2 queen beds for Friday and Saturday night will be held until August 12\, 2026\, at a special rate of $129/night plus tax. Specify “Press on Regardless” to receive this rate. This rate also applies for Thursday\, September 10.\n\nTentative schedule: \n\nFPOR (Friday). Car #1 starts FPOR at 3:01 PM and Car #1 finishes at ~ 11:30 PM.\nSPOR (Saturday). Car #1 starts SPOR at 1:01 PM and Car #1 finishes at ~ 10:30 PM.\nAwards for both days and overall POR will be presented on Saturday after the finish of SPOR at The Landing Zone (same place as last year).\n\nThe route for each day will start and finish in Gaylord and stay in the Lower Peninsula. \nFPOR will travel east toward the Millersburg area using some new roads to avoid the water holes we encountered last year. \nSPOR will travel southeast toward Mio\, Glennie\, and Luzerne using roads we haven’t used since 2022/2023\, and even some from the 2010’s. \nWant further information on Press On Regardless®? Visit the POR information pages on the Detroit Region website at http://drscca.org/rally/press-on-regardless/ . \nStill have questions? SUMMARY:OH: Triple Nickle Trek RoadRally\, Zanesville
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Western Ohio Region’s next rally will be a lead/follow tour rally through one of Ohio’s best roads for sports cars and motorcycles\, the Triple Nickel or Route 555.  Sometimes called Ohio’s Tail of the Dragon\, and frequently used by Car and Driver for road tests and articles\, 63 miles of curves and elevation changes! \nThe route is straight-forward\, just follow signs for Route 555 even when you come to any intersections. One person should be able to follow the route (I managed on my own)\, but feel free to bring as many as you wish. If it looks like the group is spreading out\, we might try to find spots to let everyone catch up\, but I don’t want to bunch up the group and have anyone miss out on the fun. \nRegistration is $20 for all entrants per vehicle\, and you can registration via the link below\, where you’ll also find more details about the day. Saturday’s schedule will begin at 10AM at the Amrou Grotto\, with a safety and route instruction meeting at 1030AM. Lunch will be at the Triple Nickle Dinner\, before stops at covered bridges along the route. \nPS: Yes\, this is the rally that was scheduled in June\, just in case you were wondering! \n

SUMMARY:TX: The Horse Country Challenge Shortest Distance Map RoadRally\, Cross Roads
DESCRIPTION:The Texas Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) invites you to a fun drive in the country in Denton County\, Texas. All are welcome and no prior rally experience is required. We give you a map with several waypoints and you visit these specific locations on the map. With this year’s theme\, locations to be visited are in Denton County horse country. Plot your thriftiest rural trail! \nYou determine your route and drive to each location\, which will be verified by the Richta GPS smartphone app. The team who visits all the required landmarks in the shortest distance will win\, and the winners will receive awards. A trail driver’s version of the traveling salesman problem! It is not a speed or racing contest. Scores are automatically reported to the Rallymaster John Poulos. No score sheet to fill out. As we did last year\, we will encourage all contestants to download and use a GPS-based odometer app\, as a way to ensure consistency of mileage measurements across all entrants\, instead of our usual pre-rally odometer calibration check. We will send you information on these apps and procedures for their use after you pre-register. \nIf you’re new to road rally and/or still deciding whether to sign up\, we plan to conduct a brief Rally School via Zoom (August 9th) to help prepare for the rally (for details and to pre-register for the School\, go to  https://msreg.com/DMR26RSmsr). For those who can’t join the live session\, we will post a YouTube video recording of the session. \n\nRally Day: Saturday\, August 15\, 2026. See the registration link below to enter your team and learn more about the rally details for The Horse Country Challenge.\nRegistration and Starting Place: Prairie House Restaurant\, registration opens at 9:45 AM. You will receive your maps and instructions for locating seventeen or so locations in Denton county that you must visit.\nTake 30 minutes to determine your route from maps provided. No GPS/electronic aids permitted here.\nCars leave the official start whenever you are ready\, in any order (but at 1-minute intervals). First car out about 10:30 am. Length: as short as you can make it in miles\, probably about 3½ hours in time\nRally type: Shortest-distance map rally. SCCA calls this a GTA (Games\, Tours\, Adventures) rally.\nRoute: You choose your route from maps provided. You may use any public road you wish in your attempt to log the shortest distance on your odometer. Depending on your chosen route\, you may encounter short stretches of unpaved road\, though we think that the shortest-distance route will be all paved.\nClasses: First-timer\, Novice (3 rally trophies or less)\, General\, and Master (this is an optional class: no trophies). GPS and other electronic aids welcome in any class once you’re on the road.\nAt least two people (a Driver and a Navigator) are required in each car; contact roadrally@texasscca.com  if you have a minor child (<18) in the car\, as a form will need to be signed.\nVehicles: Sports Cars\, Family Cars\, Classic Cars\, Antiques\, Hot Rods\, Cruisers\, Convertibles\, anything with 4 (or even 3) wheels that’s street legal is OK in this Rally. Note: speed is not a factor.\nRally entry fee (per vehicle): $45.00; regular SCCA Members: $15.00 discount. A $5.00 late fee will be assessed to anyone not preregistered on MotorsportReg.com.

SUMMARY:OH: NEOhio Cleveland Mural RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Neohio Region of the Sports Car Club of America (Neohio SCCA) invites you to explore a facet of Cleveland’s vibrant public art scene on a self-guided automotive tour of the city’s murals on the Cleveland Mural RoadRally. This event runs as a fundraiser for Slow Roll Cleveland\, a volunteer led organization focused on community engagement through its weekly group bicycle rides. \nAs Clevelanders\, we are fortunate to live in a city that appreciates the arts. One undervalued form of expression is public murals — those large scale artworks painted on exterior walls\, transforming ordinary buildings into vibrant visual landmarks. These murals combine color\, imagery\, and storytelling to reflect the culture\, history\, and identity of our community. The Cleveland Mural Rally is a tour that exposes you to these ‘hidden-in-plain-sight’ gems that adorn our city. \nNeOhio Region of the Sports Car Club of America (Neohio SCCA): Your local home for hands-on “fun with cars” (Road rallies\, Auto-X\, Time Trials\, Rally-X\, Club Racing\, Street Survival Teen Driving Seminars\, etc. neohioscca.com).\nGraffiti HeArt: A vibrant collective empowering street artists (graffitiheart.org)\nSlow Roll Cleveland: Organizers of weekly\, family-friendly\, urban group bicycle rides (slowrollcleveland.org) \nEntry Fee: $25.00 per car. You must register in advance\, and entry will close on July 30th. See the link below for more details on the event and to register your team! \nHow It Works: \n\nThe Team: Each team consists of\, at least\, a driver and a navigator. Additional passengers are welcome!\nThe Mission: Visit as many of Cleveland’s 150+ “hidden-in-plain-sight” murals as possible within a 150-minute time “window”.\nYour Route: All teams will depart at the same time\, and choose their own routes and pace (while observing all applicable traffic laws!). Mural locations are shown on a provided Google Map ( https://tinyurl.com/MuralRally2026 ).\nThe Tracker: All scoring  will be done with a smart phone “app” that automatically logs a team’s arrival at a mural when it passes within a 25 meter radius. Download the free GPS Checkpoint Rally App (advcannonball.com/app).\nThe Photos: Take “selfie” photos with your team and the murals\, then upload them to our shared Google Photos Album. https://tinyurl.com/Mural-Rally-Photos\n\nScoring & Prizes: \n\n+1 Point: For every ‘standard’ mural visited.\n+2 Points: Per designated “special” mural visited.\n+5 Points: For murals located farthest from the start location.\n+10 Points: For visiting Graffiti HeArt and voting for your favorite artwork.\n+5 Points: For uploading a team “selfie” to a group photo album.\n-1 Point per Minute: Penalty for returning after the 150-minute time limit.\n\nAwards will be presented to the teams that accumulate the most points.

SUMMARY:CT: Rally Against Leukemia GTA Charity RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The Rally Against Leukemia 2026 is a Game-Tour-Adventure (GTA) Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA New England Region. Teams receive a set of route instructions that will take them from Plainville\, CT\, to Stanley Park in Westfield\, MA and then to the finish at Barrington Brewery and Restaurant in Great Barrington\, MA. Along the route\, teams will answer questions based on signs or landmarks that they pass. Awards will be given to the teams with the most correct answers along with a yet to be determined tie-breaker method. \nTeams are not required to answer the questions. They can simply follow the route and enjoy the drive through Central CT and Western MA. Registration and more event information is available at the Event Registration link below! \nAll proceeds from this event will be donated to the UMASS Medical Center to aid with their childhood leukemia research. Contestants are encouraged to collect additional donations from friends and family. Additional donations may be made in cash\, check\, or and we’ll have an online link\, too! \nBecause this is a charity event\, meant for fun rather than serious competition\, the only limitation to the number of occupants in a vehicle is that the total number of occupants per vehicle cannot exceed the number of seat belts available in the vehicle. Appropriate waivers will need to be completed and signed at registration for all occupants. For teams with more than two adults (over age 18)\, it is suggested that in the spirit of the charity nature of the event that an additional monetary donation be made for each additional adult at registration.

SUMMARY:IL: Tulips by Night RoadRally and Social
DESCRIPTION:Tulips by Night 2026 is an evening Monte-Carlo-style Touring RoadRally and social event of about 60 miles\, with the SCCA St. Louis Region. Rallymaster Jim Heine designed the event with the new/occasional rally team in mind. Expect paved rural Madison County\, Ill.\, roads\, easy-to-follow tulip diagrams for route instructions\, and checkpoint locations identified by official mileages and arrival times. Timing will be in minutes and seconds\, with checkpoint arrival times calculated to whole minutes. After the rally\, stick around to enjoy conversation and hospitality at our finish location. \nStart: Troy Park & Ride \nFinish: Vitale’s Hideaway on historic Route 66 (today\, Illinois 4) outside Staunton\, Ill. Vitale’s Hideaway has been a stop at Route 66 and the “Worden Y” since Route 66 was established in the 1920s. A popular nightspot and dance hall in the 1930s\, today it serves as a neighborhood bar and grill\, one that not long ago was featured on the TV reality show “Bar Rescue.” \nSize of the field: We are limiting the field to 25 teams. \nRegistration: Pre-event registration only at MotorsportReg.com via the link below\, where you will also learn more about the rally\, waivers and information on the Richta GPS Checkpoint app. Entries on a first-come basis. Registration closes Wednesday\, May 27\, at 11:59 p.m. \n\nMay 30 check-in: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Troy Park & Ride.\nSafety meeting: 6:45 p.m.\nFirst car departs the start: 7:01 p.m.\nFirst car arrives at the finish: approximately 9:00 p.m.\n\nWhat you need: \n\n A vehicle\nA driver and navigator\nA smartphone or tablet with the Richta GPS Competitor App installed (this app\, free from Google Play or Apple’s App Store\, is our timing and scoring system–see timing and scoring note below for more details)\nA clipboard and calculator\, pencils and paper\nA map light or similar device\nA happy inclination to take an evening drive\n\nEntry fee: $20.00 per team for SCCA teams\, $45.00 per team for nonmember teams. An SCCA team is defined as a team in which at least one participant is an SCCA member. The $45.00 team entry fee for a nonmember team includes a $25.00 SCCA Weekend Membership for the team’s “primary entrant\,” i.e.\, the member who pays the entry fee. The other member of a non-SCCA team will receive a one-time free SCCA Trial Membership\, as will any non-SCCA member of an SCCA team. \nGood things to know–timing and scoring: Tulips by Night 2026 is an SCCA RoadRally during which you will be timed at several locations along the rally route. As indicated above\, we will use the Richta Rally GPS Checkpoint System for timing and scoring. To compete\, each participating team must have a smartphone or tablet with active data cellular service (no airplane mode and no wi-fi only devices) with the Richta GPS Competitor App installed. The app will report your arrival time and leg score to your cellphone or tablet moments after you pass each GPS checkpoint location. \nThe SCCA Detroit Region’s rally page has an excellent summary of the Richta system\, especially its GPSCompetitor App. Visit http://drscca.org/rally/using-the-richta-competitor-app. It’s is worth your time. \nMore good things to know: May 30 is a full-moon night. Unless Mother Nature turns against us\, we should have a fun evening for rallying. \nAbout the St. Louis Region\, SCCA: The SCCA’s St. Louis Region\, with some 600 members\, offers Road Racing\, Performance Driving Experience (PDE)\, RallyCross\, RoadRally\, Solo (autocross)\, and Street Survival School programs to educate and provide safe environments for individuals to enjoy their street-legal (daily driver) cars and purpose-built racecars. The region is home to more than 80 national champions and has been recognized four times by the Sports Car Club of America as the Region of the Year in its member category. Rallymaster Joe Akerman has written a very scenic course using most of the best non-urban portions of Old US 66 still remaining in California. There will be lots of things to keep folks on both sides of the car busy. The Monte Carlo format will include your target time (CZT) at all restarts and checkpoints\, and creeping/stopping will be allowed. Thunder Road will finish about 20 minutes from the Start. \nSTAGECOACH Regional Tour Rally\, Sunday\, May 24\, 2026\, is a 6-hour Tour Rally on Sunday\, May 24\, 2026. Rallymaster Larry Scholnick has written a simple straightforward course through some of the local open country\, canyons and backroads. All checkpoints will be identified in the Route Instructions. Stagecoach will finish with about 25 minutes of the Start. \nHIGHWAY ROBBERY Regional Course Rally\, Monday\, May 25\, 2026\, is an SCCA Regional Course Rally. Rallymaster Jeanne English has written a moderately challenging course utilizing variable Main Road Rules and covering some very exciting and picturesque driving roads. There will be variable main road determinants\, but no more than four at any time (often only two). The Rallymaster expects most teams to do most legs correctly. \nWeekend rally headquarters is the Best Western Plus Ontario Airport and Convention Center\, 209 N Vineyard Avenue\, Ontario\, California 91764. (909) 937-6800 hotel direct.  You can use this link for the rally group rate.  As an alternate way to access the group rate\, just cut and paste the following in your browser: www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.05343.html?groupId=P41JA1D4.  Alternate hotels are listed in the Confirmation. \nAlthough we are not sanctioning these events as charity rallies with SCCA\, in honor of our veterans on this Memorial Day\, we are donating a portion of each entry fee to New Directions for Veterans\, a highly rated charity that provides transitional housing\, mental health and substance abuse treatment\, plus job counseling and placement to thousands of homeless veterans here in Southern California.  Check them out at https://ndvets.org/about-us/. \nAll three of these rallies will use the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring.  The maximum penalty on all three rallies is 30 seconds (1/2 minute) per checkpoint. \nTo register for any or all of these 3 rallies\, please click on the event registration link below. You will also find more detailed information about the rallies and the Richta GPS Checkpoint app. \nEach Entrant must register individually and each will select their correct “group” (driver or navigator). \nThe first person registering should be the entrant registering the vehicle\, choosing the class\, and paying for the entry\, and they should register as 1st Registrant. \nThe other person on the team should then log in separately and should register as 2nd Registrant.  You’ll use the pull-down ‘co-driver picker’ menu to find and select your team partner (who will need to have already registered). \nSchedule of Events:\nFriday\, May 22\, 2026\n18:30 – 21:30 Early Registration and Check-in poolside at the HQ hotel.\nSaturday\, May 23\, 2026 • Thunder Road\n08:00 Check-in opens in the breakfast room.\n08:30 (+ car number) Route Instructions issued.\n10:00 (+ car number) First car out.\n17:00 (approximately) First car to Finish. \nSunday\, May 24\, 2026 • Stagecoach\n08:00 Check-in opens in the breakfast room.\n08:30 (+ car number) Route Instructions issued.\n09:00 (+ car number) First car out.\n15:00 (approximately) First car to Finish. \nMonday\, May 25\, 2026 • Highway Robbery\n08:00 Check-in opens in the breakfast room.\n08:30 (+ car number) Route Instructions issued.\n09:00 (+ car number) First car out.\n14:00 (approximately) First car to Finish. \n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Fees\n\nEntry fee for pre-entry is $65 per car per rally. DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the Tour de Force Rally\, a Texas Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Social Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) tour rally over scenic paved backroads of Somervell County and Hood County. The rally starts and ends at Motorsport Ranch (MSR)\, in Cresson\, Texas. All entrants are welcome. No prior rally experience is necessary. \nA precision driving event at fun speeds. This is not a speed or racing contest. Course following is easy with GPS mileages on every turn; there are no tricks or traps on the course. We assign speeds to drive. SUMMARY:IN: More Scrambled Legs Road Rally\, Evansville
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Southern Indiana Region kicks off their rally season on Sunday\, March 8th\, with More Scrambled Legs. The event will start from Hardee’s in Evansville\, and Rallymaster Bob Sonntag encourages you to arrive a little early if this is your first rally or first rally in a long time.; there will be some brief tutoring to make your day more fun!\n\nHere’s the link to information and registration in MSR:  https://msreg.com/2026-RALLY-1. Preregistration is required; there is no onsite registration. Drivers register first and then the Navigator. Please\, do not bring someone who is not registered. Guests should use the SpeedWaiver process during registration.\n\nThe route is all paved. Nearly all of it nicely paved. There’s spot about 40 feet long of “tough winter” and it’s not a problem.\n\nThose with good memories may remember last year’s Scrambled Legs and this second helping is a different take on much of that route.  Oh sure\, there’s a visit to Buente Road\, a touch of Trapp Road\, a little counting of Opps at Ts\, some loops\, and one other little thing to see who will drop shell into their omelet.\n\nAdjustments have been made for the 90s that aren’t “CASTable.”\n\nWith breaks & no mistakes\, the route runs about 97 miles and will take about 3.25 hours to get to Los Bravos on Evansville’s west side.\n\nJoin us and see if\, as a friend put it\, if this rally is all it’s cracked up to be.\n\n\n\n\n

The rally will generally follow the NER (New England Region) Road Rally Regulations (RRR)\, which can be viewed at (NER.ORG). We have condensed the RRR’s and these ‘Generals’ should be all you need to follow the correct course. Interested teams can find more information at winterchaallengerally.com. \nRally Philosophy: \nWINTER CHALLENGE RALLY (WC) is not a ‘trap rally; it has a couple of thinking situations in Section 1) – don’t overthink every NRI. There will be 15-20 Regularity Sections (RS) throughout the day (night).  The controls at the start of Regularity Sections are called CZT’s (Car Zero Time); you should self-start (at 1 minute intervals) at your start time. No penalties will accrue at these controls. Within the RS’s\, starting at the CZT\, there will be timed portions (Legs). \nYou will be penalized for every SECOND you arrive early or late at timing control points in these Legs. There may be multiple controls in each timed portion (leg). After the last timing CP or the notation “End Regularity timing” (whichever comes first)\, there are no controls and competitors can travel at their own pace. Driving normally\, you should get to the start of the next RS 2 minutes before your RESTART time.  The Route Instructions will show the RESTART time for Car 0. Your Richta phone will show your ideal RESTART time.
