DESCRIPTION:The March Hare’s ‘Continuing Education’ Rally 2026 \nJoin the March Hare for a fun afternoon of rallying over the country roads of the Metro East’s Monroe County\, IL. Expect a low-key Touring road rally of about 75 miles with a number of checkpoints along the way. “Continuing Education” is a fun social event and exercise in simple route-following during which you will be timed at several locations along the rally route. Expect a rally of about 2-1/2 hours duration that both starts and ends at the Sunset Overlook wine bar and restaurant on Bluff Road in Columbia\, Ill. New to rallying\, or an occasional competitor? We believe you also will find the March Hare’s route an enjoyable Saturday-afternoon adventure. \nStart and finish: Sunset Overlook \nSize of the field: We are limiting the field to 25 teams. \nRegistration: Pre-event registration only via the registration link below. Entries are on a first-come basis. Registration closes Wednesday\, Sept. 9 at 11:59 p.m. \n\nSept. 12 check-in: noon to 1 p.m.at Sunset Overlook.\nSafety meeting: 1:00 p.m.\nFirst car departs the start: 1:30 p.m.\nFirst car arrives at the finish: approximately 5:00 p.m.\n\nWhat you need: \n\n A vehicle\nA driver and navigator\nA smartphone or tablet with the Richta GPS Competitor App installed (this app\, free from Google Play or Apple’s App Store\, is our timing and scoring system–see timing and scoring note below for more details)\nA clipboard and calculator\, pencils and paper\n\nEntry fee: $20.00 per team for SCCA teams\, $45.00 per team for non-member teams. An SCCA team is defined as a team in which at least one participant is an SCCA member. The $45.00 entry fee for a nonmember team includes a $25.00 SCCA Weekend Membership for the team’s “primary entrant\,” i.e.\, the member who pays the entry fee. The other member of a non-SCCA team will receive a one-time free SCCA Trial Membership (as will any non-SCCA member of an SCCA team). \nInformation: J. To compete\, each participating team must have a smartphone or tablet with active data cellular service (no airplane mode and no wi-fi only devices) with the Richta Competitor App installed.
