SUMMARY:NY: Hollows\, Gulches & Hills Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Hollows\, Gulches & Hills RoadRally is approximately 200 miles on paved and unpaved roads. This is the third event in the SCCA Finger Lakes Region Winter Rally Series. \n\n\n\nVehicle and driver requirements:Snow tires are recommended (all seasons may limit your speed group eligibility)DTow rope/strapOne (1) DOT Reflective Triangle (or 90 minutes of road flares)Valid Driver’s license and proof of insuranceCurrent State Inspection Sticker \n\n\n\nEntry Fees: $45 per vehicle for SCCA Members\, and a $15 Weekend Membership is available if no SCCA member is on your team. SUMMARY:NY: SCCA Finger Lakes Region Fall Fling Rally
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual Fall Fling Road Rally\, hosted by the Finger Lakes Region SCCA. This Time / Speed / Distance (TSD) rally will serve as a great introduction to the sport\, as well as provide veteran rallyists a chance to dust off their skills in advance of our Winter Series starting in December. This is a ±70-mile tour-style rally on mostly paved roads (some gravel) with amazing scenery! \n\n\n\nFor this event\, we will be running two classes: Experienced and Novice\, and one speed group: C-Speed (36 mph). We will be using the Richta GPS timing and scoring application\, so please check www.flr-scca.com/road-rally for App installation instructions. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $25/car\, plus $15 for each non-SCCA member in the car. All Registration will be conducted though MotorsportReg.com until 1:00P on rally day. \n\n\n\nEvent Day Details:  \n\n\n\nCheck-In / Tech Inspection: 12:00P – 1:00P \n\n\n\nCompetitor Meeting: 1:10P – 1:20P \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off: 1:31P and returns at approximately 4P \n\n\n\nRequired Equipment: \n\n\n\n\nTow strap/rope\n\n\n\n1 DOT reflective triangle (or 90 minutes of road flares)\n\n\n\nValid drivers license\n\n\n\nProof of insurance\n\n\n\nCurrent state inspection

SUMMARY:NY: Do It Again RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:We’d love to have you join your fellow car enthusiasts for the 2021 Do It Again Rally (aka TSD or “The Social Distance”)\, sanctioned by the SCCA Finger Lakes Region.  \n\n\n\nWhat is it: We have an opportunity for a little fun in these trying times. We are offering a unique Social Rally\, just for fun. It is not part of any series or serious points race. \n\n\n\nWhere: Starts and ends at Tom Wahl’s on Route 5&20 in Avon \n\n\n\nWhen: Sunday\, 5/16/21.  Check In: 12:30-1:30pm\, First car off at 2:01 (more on timing below) \n\n\n\nHow much: The entry fee is $20/car plus $5 for each weekend membership. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Avon Food Pantry to help the local community. \n\n\n\nEvent Day Details:  \n\n\n\nThis is a ‘minimal contact’ event. Click here to register online through Hagerty MotorsportReg or email the info to the Rallymaster if you want to enter. There is a limit of 45 cars.The rally is:You follow the course\, maintaining speeds below the posted speed limit.As you follow the route\, you will be timed at locations unknown to you. All checkpoints will be closed (you do not stop at them.)The course is approximately 31 miles and should take about 56 minutes to complete.Teams then repeat the course route at 3:00+car #.For the second time around the route\, checkpoint signs will be out where the cars are timed again. The score will be how close the minute and hundredths are to the time you passed on the first loop (if you did it the first time\, you should be able to do it a second time\, right?)If you take a TA on the second passage\, text it to the phone number on the routes with a mileage where it occurred. Once a TA is taken\, the TA time applies for the rest of the second loop.Cars will have window chalk or magnetic number on each side of the car so the checkpoint worker can identify the car as it passes.The entry fee is $20/car plus $5 for each weekend membership. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Avon Food Pantry to help the local community.A waiver will be placed on a picnic table behind and outside Tom Wahl’s. Everyone that competes must sign the waiver. We ask everyone to bring their own pen and sign it individually\,Routes would be emailed to teams on the morning of the event.There will be a short driver’s meeting at 1:45\, before the event.The results will be calculated after the event and emailed to all competitors.There will be a ‘print your own trophy’ for all participants.  (In the interest of social distance.)We may even do a Zoom Meeting (virtual happy hour) for results to share rally stories and enjoy some after the event.\n\n\n\nIn light of the current COVID-19 situation\, every attempt will be made to minimize the risks of exposure to the virus.
