SUMMARY:NY: The Long Way Home RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:It is again time to enjoy the winter roads of the Southern Tier with the Finger Lakes Region’s 2025 Winter Rally Series. The first rally of the SCCA Finger Lakes Region Series consists of approximately 180 competitive miles using mostly unpaved roads in the New York Southern Tier. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $45 per car for SCCA Members + $15 should you need a Weekend Membership if one team member in the car is not an SCCA member. There is a 35-car limit\, so pre-registration is recommended. Series classes are Equipped\, Limited\, Stock\, and Novice. \n\n\n\nSnow tires are recommended (all-season tires may limit your speed group eligibility). A tow rope/strap and 90 minutes of flares or one DOT triangle are required to compete. \n\n\n\nStart/Finish location: Wadsworth Grill\, 3901 Main Street\, Wadsworth\, NY\, on Route 36 South of Route 63. SUMMARY:NY: 16th Annual Ithaca Winter RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The 16th Annual Ithaca Winter Rally is approximately 170 rally miles long and uses mostly unpaved roads in the southern part of Central New York. SUMMARY:GA: SEDiv Convention RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Buccaneer Region is excited to announce our latest road rally event and our first 2025 — Road Rally Event #1\, which will be held at the SEDiv Annual Convention. Each car will drive on paved public roads using a set of predefined route instructions through various checkpoints using the Richta GPS Checkpoint app\, a free app downloaded to your smart device from the Apple Store or GooglePlay.  \n\n\n\nParticipants will be scored based on their arrival time at each defined checkpoint. We will start at the conference hotel\, where cars depart 1 minute apart. We will also finish at the conference hotel\, where scoring and lunch will be available (you are responsible for purchasing your food; we encourage everyone to eat and support the location).  \n\n\n\nAre you new to road rallies or unsure what this is all about? Check out this (somewhat lengthy but humorous) video explanation.  \n\n\n\nAny car that meets all Georgia state laws and is insured to meet the state’s minimum insurance requirements is allowed. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance will be required at on-site registration. Each car is allowed as many people as there are seat belts in the vehicle\, but each car is suggested to have at least two people: a Driver and a Navigator. There will be a starting location\, five (5) unmanned checkpoints\, followed by a sixth checkpoint at the finishing location. Team numbers will be assigned but the starting order will be determined randomly. \n\n\n\nThree classes for this rally are available: Stock\, Limited\, and Seat of Your Pants.
