SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club First Friday Niter Social Roadrally
DESCRIPTION:Paul McGaffey is the Rallymaster for the March First Friday Niter! The rally will be a Monte Carlo-style event\, sanctioned by the Santa Monica Sports Car Club and the SCCA\, Cal Club Region. \n\n\n\n       ​​​Please come out and join us for the National Pig Day Rally on March 1st. \n\n\n\nOn this day\, we celebrate the pig as an amazing pet! \n\n\n\nThis is a BEGINNER FRIENDLY event! It is created for easy navigation and maximum driving fun through the Santa Monica Mountains. It is perfect for beginners\, as well as people who just want a relaxed drive with a little competition thrown in. \n\n\n\nRallymaster Paul McGaffey has written a pure tour course using Monte Carlo-style timing. You will get very simple\, turn-by-turn instructions with no tricks\, traps\, or boring average speeds. You will be given exact mileages and “Car Zero Times” at each Checkpoint. So\, no guesswork\, no complicated math. Just add your car number in minutes to the Car Zero Time\, and you know when to cross each clearly visible Checkpoint sign. If you get there early\, you may stop or creep without penalty.   \n\n\n\nThe rally finishes at the IHOP at Kanan and the 101 freeway in Agoura Hills. \n\n\n\nThis rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing in seconds. This month’s maximum penalty is 60 seconds per leg. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the App Store\, Google Play Store\, or https://richtarally.com/. SUMMARY:NY: Slip Sliding Fever Rally
DESCRIPTION:Round five of the Finger Lakes Region’s 2024 Winter Rally Series. Slip Sliding Fever Rally is approximately 190 rally miles on paved\, dirt\, muddy and possibly(?) snowy roads. In keeping with the Winter Rally Series format\, this is an evening TSD rally run at speeds within the local speed limits. \n\n\n\nRoute instructions are provided in Tulip diagram format (line drawings of each intersection) with mileages provided. Teams should have a wrist or stopwatch\, a calculator\, flashlight and a pen. A Novice School will be available prior to the Driver’s Meeting to help first-timers out. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $45/car + $15 for Weekend Membership if one team member in the car is not an SCCA member. There is a 30-car limit\, so early registration is recommended (msreg.com). DESCRIPTION:Join the SCCA Southern Indiana Region for our first point rally of the season\, the Terry Davis Rally. \n\n\n\nThe starting point is the Hardee’s\, with check-in at 12:30 PM and the entrant meeting 1:00ish. The first car is out shortly after the entrant meeting.   \n\n\n\nEntry Fees:SCCA Member Driver: $37SCCA Student Member Driver: $27SCCA Member Navigator: Free \n\n\n\nSCCA members should have an annual waiver or expect to be charged an additional $5. \n\n\n\nGuest Driver: $57Guest Student Driver: $47Guest Navigator: Free for the first SCCA event.Guest Navigator: $20 after the Free Trial membership is used. \n\n\n\nIt is expected that all participants are at least 18 years old. Guests should use the SpeedWaiver process during registration.
