SUMMARY:NY: Hollows\, Gulches\, and Hills Rally
DESCRIPTION:Round three of the Finger Lakes Region’s 2024 Winter Rally Series. The Hollows\, Gulches\, and Hills Rally consists of 180 competitive rally miles\, using mostly unpaved roads in the New York Southern Tier. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $45/car + $15 for Weekend Membership if one team member in the car is not an SCCA member. There is a 30-car limit\, so early registration is recommended (msreg.com/iwr2024). SUMMARY:• IN: Cabin Fever Vaccine Drive
DESCRIPTION:The Cabin Fever Vaccine Drive is a simple Time/Speed/Distance drive for lunch to The Overlook in Leavenworth\, Indiana. It’s a vaccine without pills or needles and has now been approved by the RRSS (which is not the FDA). \n\n\n\nThe route is all nicely paved and is nearly overloaded with checkpoints.  In a break from our norm\, the event will be scored in six sections with cumulative scoring within each section.  (If you don’t understand\, don’t fret.  It won’t be a problem.) \n\n\n\nThink of the vaccine as a simple drive with lots of feedback on your ability to maintain a constant speed. The checkpoints come so often that there’s little time for much correcting between some of the checkpoints. There are few speed changes. Free zones are through congested areas\, so there is no CAST issue stress there. With the number of checkpoints\, high checkpoint scores (without WORKING to get them) should be rare. Total scores may be another thing because there are SO MANY checkpoints\, and the cumulative scoring ripple. \n\n\n\nThis 80-mile route even has two bio break opportunities. \n\n\n\nThe starting point is the McDonald’s on Bartlett Ave. in Evansville.Check-in at 9:00 A.M. Entrant meeting 9:30ish.The first car out shortly after the entrant meeting.   \n\n\n\nEntry Fees:SCCA Member Driver: $37SCCA Student Member Driver: $27SCCA Member Navigator: Free \n\n\n\nSCCA members should have an annual waiver or expect to be charged an additional $5. \n\n\n\nGuest Driver: $57Guest Student Driver: $47Guest Navigator: Free for the first SCCA event.Guest Navigator: $20 after the Free Trial membership is used. \n\n\n\nIt is expected that all participants are at least 18 years old. Guests should use the SpeedWaiver process during registration.
