SUMMARY:OH: Ohio Winter RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Neohio Region\, SCCA invites you to enter the 2025 Ohio Winter Rally (OWR) on February 1! This annual hivernal tour of the Lake Erie “snowbelt” counties of far northeastern Ohio dates back to at least 1966. It was one of the core events of the long-lamented Ohio Rally Championship (ORC) series. \n\n\n\nCompetitors can expect an absolutely straightforward\, gimmick-free Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) road rally\, with an emphasis on precise timing at well-placed controls. Columnar “tulip” style route instructions\, with Official Mileages for all action points (similar to a stage rally routebook)\, will be used. The ~165-mile route will wind through Ohio’s Geauga\, Ashtabula\, and surrounding counties. \n\n\n\nPrevailing road and weather conditions will dictate the rally’s difficulty. Competitors should come prepared to spend extended periods outside in severe winter conditions.  \n\n\n\nTo help teams with limited prior timekeeping experience stay on schedule and to mitigate the possibility of “double jeopardy” penalties from carrying a timing error through multiple controls\, parenthetical perfect cumulative leg times will be provided at all speed change locations. This will be done through the Richta GPS Checkpoints app\, available as a free download for your smart device. \n\n\n\nRegistration and more information are available on motorsportreg.com. However\, it is important to note that there will be no on-site registration\, and online registration closes on Wednesday\, January 29th. \n\n\n\nThe rally will count toward both the SCCA Great Lakes Division (GLD) Rally Championship and the SCCA National Touring Rally (NTR) Championship (Divisional Rally).

Highway Robbery will finish some distance south of Start\, heading back towards Los Angeles. \n\n\n\nTo welcome and encourage participation at the USRRC\, any or all of these three rallies can be run as Regional rallies. Regional entrant finishes will not count toward the annual National Championship\, nor will they be included in Lifetime Points. The Regional versions will run simultaneously and use the same course and Route Instructions as the National rallies\, but will not be scored against the National competitors. SUMMARY:CT: All the Myriad of Ways NGTA RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:All the Myriad of Ways II is a Game-Tour-Adventure (GTA) Road Rally. After a short odometer check\, contestants will receive a map of Connecticut and a list of questions. The objective is to answer as many questions as possible in the least amount of miles. (Think scavenger hunt.) \n\n\n\n All the Myriad of Ways Road Rally is sanctioned by the SCCA\, New England Region\, as a National GTA and NER/SCCA as a Special Event. \n\n\n\nAs a National SCCA Event\, all competitors must be SCCA members (non-SCCA members are encouraged to enter Hurdle 2024 Regional GTA the same day) \n\n\n\nTeams are limited to two adults (over age 16) per vehicle.  One additional adult (over age 16) may be allowed at the organizers’ discretion (please contact event organizers at jon.lamkins@cox.net for approval and limitations).  No limit to children (under age 16) but the total number of contestants per vehicle cannot exceed the number of seat belts available in the vehicle.  \n\n\n\nStart:   Southington Drive In \n\n\n\nFinish:  Athenian Diner II\, 864 Washington St\, Middletown\, CT 06457 \n\n\n\nSchedule of Events (tentative) \n\n\n\nSaturday\, October 19\, 2024 \n\n\n\n            7:30 am – 9:00 am                   Registration/Odometer Check \n\n\n\n            4:00 p.m.                                 Finish location opens \n\n\n\n            6:00 p.m.                                 All contestants are due in at the finish \n\n\n\nRegistration and more information may be found on MotorsportReg.

DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Philadelphia Region will hold seven rallies\, three just for adventurers curious about or new to road rallies and others for current and aspirant Divisional and National competitors\, over the October 11-14th Weekend. Many\, many covered bridges and beautiful horse farms abound.  \n\n\n\nOn Indigenous Peoples’ Day\, Monday the 14th\, As the Crow Flies\, a Regional rally\, is excellent for families as it requires no calculations\, visits several Chester County historical sites\, and allows you to choose the roads your team will use. All rallies start from The Courtyard by Marriott in Coatesville\, Pennsylvania. \n\n\n\nMark your calendars today! The ~180-mile route will wind through the hills of Ohio’s Wayne\, Holmes\, Coshocton\, Knox\, and surrounding counties. The Milk Run’s name is an homage to a motorcycle enduro in the same area. \n\n\n\nThe rally will count toward both the SCCA Great Lakes Division (GLD) Rally Championship and the SCCA National Touring Rally (NTR) Championship (Divisional Rally). \n\n\n\nThere will be no on-site registration\, and the entry cut-off online will be on Wednesday\, May 15th\, via MotorsportReg.com. You are encouraged to register by close of day on Saturday\, May 11th for a $10 savings. General Instructions and the Competitor – Richta GPS Checkpoints app password will be distributed at the close of registration. A block of rooms has been set aside at $129 per night plus taxes. SUMMARY:CA: Highway Robbery National Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:Highway Robbery\, an SCCA National RoadRally Course Championship Rally\, will run on Saturday\, August 19th. It’s a course rally that will test your ability to stay on course and on time. The rally will run primarily in San Bernardino County. There will be no absence of the sign traps and no lettered instructions. There will be ITIS (If There Is Such) instructions and a sign Aristotle (as per SMSCC Generals). There will be variable main road determinants\, but no more than four at any time (often only two). In fact\, you can run Highway Robbery using the SMSCC General Instructions with a short addendum instead of the RRRs if you want to. These are mostly the same generals we used on previous Highway Robberies. Jeanne English\, Rallymaster\, expects most contestants to do most legs correctly.

DESCRIPTION:THUNDER ROAD 2023\, an SCCA National Tour\,  is the first event of the Cal Club and Into the Night Rally Team’s Double Rally Weekend! TWO LANE BLACK TOP\, is an SCCA Divisional Tour Rally on Sunday\, June 18\, 2023 \n\n\n\nWe are proud that last year’s Thunder Road 2022 was named the Best New National Rally of 2022 by the Sports Car Club of America\, and we are striving to make TR23 even better. We take our responsibility to provide you with a fun and exciting rally very seriously. We have searched diligently to find you the prettiest roads we could and to get you out of civilization as much as possible. We will be running the most scenic and drivable roads in the San Gabriel\, Tehachapi\, and southern Sierra Nevada mountains\, and through the farmlands and open vistas of Kern County and the Antelope Valley.   \n\n\n\nThe Route Instructions for this event will use a simple Monte Carlo format\, meaning you get turn-by-turn directions and your target time at each Checkpoint. All Timed Checkpoints are listed in the Route Instructions and referenced by prominent signs on the course. The rally is a little over 350 miles long\, and you will have about 8 and a half hours of driving nirvana with many breaks for gas\, food\, and rest stops. \n\n\n\nThe object of this event is to enjoy driving sweeping\, beautiful\, challenging back roads at legal speeds while following simple directions to pass a series of Checkpoints at just the right time.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Joe Akerman says “There is no need for advanced math\, no riddles\, compasses\, maps or gimmicks\, just glorious roads to drive with a focus on precision and accuracy.” This is a team sport —the Driver and Navigator must work together to get it right. Only two people (Driver and Navigator) are allowed per car on SCCA Naitonal Road Rallies. The rally will run\, rain or shine. \n\n\n\nThere are no preset average speeds; just run at the posted speed limits (the rally is timed at least two mph BELOW those limits and has pauses where needed). If you reach a timed Checkpoint early\, you can pull over\, get out of traffic lanes\, and either creep or stop and wait for your target time to pass by the Checkpoint. \n\n\n\nWe will be using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. This app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone or tablet. Go to the  App Store\, Google Play Store\, or https://richtarally.com/ and download it. DESCRIPTION:Tanned\, rested and ready… A northeast Ohio tradition since 1966 is back! Neohio Region\, SCCA invites you to enter the 2023 Ohio Winter Rally. The ~165 mile route will traverse portions of northeast Ohio’s Lake Erie “snowbelt” counties.\n\n\n\nCompetitors can expect an absolutely straightforward\, gimmick-free\, Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) road rally with emphasis on precise timing at well placed controls.
