DESCRIPTION:A brisk TSD tour through the winding paved roads in the driftless area west of Madison. Join us on Saturday\, May 7th\, for the 5th running of this crowd-pleasing event. Sanctioned by the SCCA Milwaukee Region\, the Badger Burrow will be a paved tour emphasizing brisk country driving.Much of the event will be run in transit/free zones. This means you can drive at your own pace on the unbelievable roads we have chosen. We will give you a ‘Car Zero’ time and an assigned speed near the checkpoints where you must remain on time until the control. \n\n\n\nThe roads at this event are unbelievable! All roads are paved\, but nothing is straight and level. The roads twist constantly and climb up and over ridges. Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180-mile time-speed-distance National Course RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads west of Madison\, Wisconsin. \n\n\n\nYou’ll be tested on your ability to observe\, reason\, maintain the assigned average speeds\, and follow explicit directions. This year’s event will use both Numbered and Lettered Route Instructions. There will be a variable Main Road rule. Experienced rallyists will find this rally to be one of the easier National Course rallies of the year. However\, it is not recommended for people who have never rallied before. It would be like a first-time skier attempting a blue diamond (Moderate difficulty) ski trail. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required\, and you can click here to check out the details at Hagerty MotorsportReg! DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Milwaukee Region presents the Roads Scamper National Tour RoadRally\, on Sunday\, June 6\, 2021. Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180-mile time-speed-distance National Tour RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads north of Madison\, Wisconsin. \n\n\n\nThis rally will use the Richta GPS checkpoint app. Contestants will download the app to their smartphones in advance of the rally. During the rally\, this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!! No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did. A bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide you with many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations. Expect at least 100 checkpoints in this 180-mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone to run this event. If you’re planning to run another rally app during the event\, you’ll need to do that on a separate device. The Richta GPS checkpoint app needs to be the only app running on your phone during the rally; you can download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. \n\n\n\nThis is a tour-type rally\, so there are no tricks or traps. SUMMARY:CT: New England Region Hurdle 2021 National GTA Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Hurdle Rally is a Game-Tour-Adventure (GTA) Rally. After a short odometer check\, contestants will receive a map of Connecticut and a list of questions. The objective is to answer as many questions as possible in the least amount of miles (think scavenger hunt). \n\n\n\nHurdle 2021 will be run in compliance with the 2021 NER/SCCA Road Rally Regulations\, as amended. Hurdle 2021 is sanctioned by the SCCA as a National GTA and  NER/SCCA as a Special Event. \n\n\n\nTeams are limited to two adults (over age 16) per vehicle. However\, it is not recommended for people who have never rallied before. It would be like a first-time skier attempting a blue diamond (moderate difficulty) ski trail.\n\n\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. \n\n\n\nHeadquarters Hotel:  Country Inn and Suites. A block of rooms with 2 queen beds has been reserved for contestants at a special rate of $75/night plus tax\, but only until May 14th.  This includes a hot breakfast buffet. SUMMARY:PA: Ghost Tracks GTA Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Ghost Tracks GTA Rally is sanctioned by the SCCA Allegheny Highlands Sports Car Club and was upgraded to a National GTA Rally.  \n\n\n\nGhost Tracks is a shortest-distance rally\, an untimed RoadRally following an undefined route. Instead of the usual route instructions and timing controls\, contestants are given a map and a list of waypoints to be visited. Contestants receive penalty points for each 0.10 mile traversed during the rally. Thus\, the goal is to visit all the required sites (waypoints) in the allotted time while traversing the shortest distance possible. These waypoints may be visited in any order of your choosing after leaving the start control and before you arrive at the finish control. Unlimited use of additional maps\, GPS\, Waze\, etc.\, is permitted.  \n\n\n\nThe available roads are all public roads in and bordering Indiana County\, PA. Typical fall foliage and scenery should be superb as you travel on many roads most of you will have never seen before. Each team (minimum of two people) will use their maps and waypoint list to plot a course and may drive at whatever legal speeds are comfortable for them. Six hours are allotted to complete the rally\, but it should take less time. Awards for best overall finishing position(s) and best finishing position of any team with no prior experience with the shortest distance rally. \n\n\n\nIf you prefer a shorter version\, please consider our As The Crow Flies on the same day. Register for Ghost Tracks at Motorsportreg today and try this rally style. \n\n\n\nEntrants can approach the waypoint from any direction and be assured that the transponder provided by the Rally Committee will confirm their arrival at the waypoint. Mileage will be zeroed at the Start Control and frozen at the Finish Control\, having accumulated all of the mileage the transponder has traversed. This total mileage will be the final score after adding a penalty of fifteen miles for each waypoint not attained if applicable. The shortest distance wins.  \n\n\n\nThis will be the first of its kind and requires no equipment\, not even a cell phone. The rally is intended to be a model for other Regions to host a rally that requires minimal effort on the part of a Rally Committee. Rallymaster Bruce Gezon strongly believes that the format may become a preferred rally type.

TWO LANE BLACK TOP\, is an SCCA Divisional Tour Rally on Sunday\, June 18\, 2023 \n\n\n\nWe are proud that last year’s Thunder Road 2022 was named the Best New National Rally of 2022 by the Sports Car Club of America\, and we are striving to make TR23 even better. We take our responsibility to provide you with a fun and exciting rally very seriously. We have searched diligently to find you the prettiest roads we could and to get you out of civilization as much as possible. We will be running the most scenic and drivable roads in the San Gabriel\, Tehachapi\, and southern Sierra Nevada mountains\, and through the farmlands and open vistas of Kern County and the Antelope Valley.   \n\n\n\nThe Route Instructions for this event will use a simple Monte Carlo format\, meaning you get turn-by-turn directions and your target time at each Checkpoint. All Timed Checkpoints are listed in the Route Instructions and referenced by prominent signs on the course. The rally is a little over 350 miles long\, and you will have about 8 and a half hours of driving nirvana with many breaks for gas\, food\, and rest stops. \n\n\n\nThe object of this event is to enjoy driving sweeping\, beautiful\, challenging back roads at legal speeds while following simple directions to pass a series of Checkpoints at just the right time.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Joe Akerman says “There is no need for advanced math\, no riddles\, compasses\, maps or gimmicks\, just glorious roads to drive with a focus on precision and accuracy.” This is a team sport —the Driver and Navigator must work together to get it right. Only two people (Driver and Navigator) are allowed per car on SCCA Naitonal Road Rallies. The rally will run\, rain or shine. \n\n\n\nThere are no preset average speeds; just run at the posted speed limits (the rally is timed at least two mph BELOW those limits and has pauses where needed). If you reach a timed Checkpoint early\, you can pull over\, get out of traffic lanes\, and either creep or stop and wait for your target time to pass by the Checkpoint. \n\n\n\nWe will be using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. SUMMARY:CA: Highway Robbery National Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:Highway Robbery\, an SCCA National RoadRally Course Championship Rally\, will run on Saturday\, August 19th. It’s a course rally that will test your ability to stay on course and on time. The rally will run primarily in San Bernardino County. There will be no absence of the sign traps and no lettered instructions. There will be ITIS (If There Is Such) instructions and a sign Aristotle (as per SMSCC Generals). There will be variable main road determinants\, but no more than four at any time (often only two). In fact\, you can run Highway Robbery using the SMSCC General Instructions with a short addendum instead of the RRRs if you want to. These are mostly the same generals we used on previous Highway Robberies. Jeanne English\, Rallymaster\, expects most contestants to do most legs correctly.

DESCRIPTION:The SCCA San Francisco Region is returning to the SCCA National Tour RoadRally Championship with its Gold Rush National Tour Rally on August 27th\, a day after Golden West 2023 Road Rally\, a National Course RoadRally Championship event. The Entry Fee for SCCA Members is $90 for each rally or $170 for the weekend. An SCCA Weekend Membership is available for an additional $15\, as may be needed by a team. All registrations will be handled through MotorsportsReg. General Instructions will be emailed on August 19th\, and all entries must be received by August 21st. \n\n\n\nAs of April 20th\, the tentative schedule: Registration at Headquarters: Friday\, August 25th\, 5:00-7:30 PM \n\n\n\nThe Gold Rush National Tour Rally\, by Rallymaster Stu Helfer\, will be a low-pressure\, low-scoring touring event through southern Sacramento and San Joaquin Counties—an easy-to-follow drive with mileages at most route instructions and many GPS scoring opportunities. \n\n\n\nRallymaster Andy Stocker encourages rallyists to compete in the two National Championship RoadRally events by Cal Club Region and the Santa Monica Sports Car Club the prior weekend\, August 19th and 20th\, and then spend several days heading north along the amazing California coastline. Visit places like the Getty Museum\, Santa Barbara\, Hearst’s Castle\, Big Sur\, Carmel\, Monterey Bay Aquarium\, Santa Cruz\, Bodega Bay\, Napa Valley Wineries\, and more! Then finish with the SCCA San Francisco Region’s two Sacramento rallies – Golden West 2023 National Course Rally and the Gold Rush National Tour Rally. \n\n\n\nEntrants must have the Richta GPS Competitor App installed on their phones (available for free for iOS/Android)\, as the event will use the Richta GPS Competitor App for scoring. \n\n\n\nStay tuned for more details!

DESCRIPTION:We have heard from Piotr Roszczenko requesting to ‘Save the Date’ for the 75th Running of the Press on Regardless Rally. Bruce Fisher will be Rallymaster\, and as of November 17\, 2022\, it is planned to be a Double National Tour Rally.  \n\n\n\nThe event will return to the Hampton Inn\, Gaylord\, MI\, the lodging used for the 2020 POR. A block of rooms has been set aside at $129 per night plus taxes. Ten rooms are reserved\, yet the hotel will add more when those are booked; they will release the rooms on 8/24/2023.  \n\n\n\nMore details to follow.
