SUMMARY:WI: Roads Scholar National Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Milwaukee Region presents the Roads Scholar National Course RoadRally\, on Saturday\, June 5\, 2021. Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180-mile time-speed-distance National Course RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads west of Madison\, Wisconsin. \n\n\n\nYou’ll be tested on your ability to observe\, reason\, maintain the assigned average speeds\, and follow explicit directions. This year’s event will use both Numbered and Lettered Route Instructions. There will be a variable Main Road rule. Experienced rallyists will find this rally to be one of the easier National Course rallies of the year. However\, it is not recommended for people who have never rallied before. It would be like a first-time skier attempting a blue diamond (Moderate difficulty) ski trail. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required\, and you can click here to check out the details at Hagerty MotorsportReg! Rallymaster Jim Crittenden encourages you to join fellow rallyists for the Sunday\, June 6th for the Roads Scamper National Tour. \n\n\n\nHeadquarters hotel:  Country Inn and Suites\, has a block of rooms (with two queen beds) that have been reserved for contestants at a special rate of $79/night plus tax\, but only until May 13th. This includes a hot breakfast buffet. Ask for ‘SCCA Car Rally’ to get this rate! \n\n\n\nSchedule: Check-in – 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off – 8:31 AM  Saturday \n\n\n\nFirst Car Finished – Approx 5:30 pm \n\n\n\nCost: $75/car for SCCA Members\,  $90/car if neither contestant is an SCCA member. Two people per car required. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event. General Instructions will be emailed to all registered contestants two weeks prior to the event.

SUMMARY:WI: Roads Scamper National Tour RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Milwaukee Region presents the Roads Scamper National Tour RoadRally\, on Sunday\, June 6\, 2021. Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180-mile time-speed-distance National Tour RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads north of Madison\, Wisconsin. \n\n\n\nThis rally will use the Richta GPS checkpoint app. Contestants will download the app to their smartphones in advance of the rally. During the rally\, this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!! No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did. A bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide you with many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations. Expect at least 100 checkpoints in this 180-mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone to run this event. If you’re planning to run another rally app during the event\, you’ll need to do that on a separate device. The Richta GPS checkpoint app needs to be the only app running on your phone during the rally; you can download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. \n\n\n\nThis is a tour-type rally\, so there are no tricks or traps.
