DESCRIPTION:Join the SCCA Northern New Jersey Region on the 85-mile Second Hand Roads Divisional RoadRally with easy-to-follow route instructions. The event will start at Subaru World of Newton (NOTE: This is a new location for 2026). \nFor those looking to enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition their is a Regional Tour event for you. Those wishing to compete for SCCA National Course RoadRally Series points this Divisional event (26-RRDC-66587) will be just the ticket. \nThe Richta GPS Checkpoints system is free to use and will record your arrival time at each checkpoint.  You’ll keep this app open while you run the rally and it will use the GPS signal from your device to record your arrival time at each checkpoint. \nOnce you pass a checkpoint\, the app will automatically calculate your score for that checkpoint and announce it to you!  No more waiting until the end of the rally to see how you did.  You’ll see your score at each checkpoint as you go along. \nGeneral Instructions and details about the Richta GPS Checkpoints App will be emailed to all registered contestants two weeks prior to the event. \nDivisional Entry fee is $35/car. \nRegional Entry fee is $30/Car. \nAnother $20 for weekend membership paid to the National Office if no one on the team is an SCCA member. \nIn-person sign-in starts at 10:00 AM \nDrivers Meeting: 10:45 AM \nTime: First car out at 11:00 AM \nADDITIONAL DETAILS \nEVENT CLASSES \n\nREGIONAL\n\nSOP (Seat of the Pants) – No timing calculations may be performed\, except for comparing your actual time to the car zero time as shown in some route instructions.\nNovice – Same equipment restriction as SOP\, but in addition neither contestant may have competed in five or more TSD rallies.\nBeginner –   Same equipment restriction as SOP\, but in addition neither contestant may have competed in more than one TSD rally.Regional trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd per class.\n\n\n\n\nDIVISIONAL\n\nPer the SCCA RoadRally Rules – Equipped\, Limited\, GPS and Stock – Microsoft Word – RRRs Abridged- 2023 Dec 23 2022 (connectsites.net)\nDivisional Course Points will be based on the RRRs\nTrophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd per class. SUMMARY:WI: Coulee Classic Tour Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Chippewa Trail Weekend! This year\, we have two events: the Coulee Classic National Tour Road Rally on Saturday and the Chippewa Trail National GTA Rally on Sunday. \n\n\n\nCoulee Classic is a tour through the paved roads of Coulee country in SW Wisconsin\, especially Buffalo County. Speeds will be brisk.  \n\n\n\nAlong the way\, you will pass through Elmwood (the UFO capital of WI)\, which will be celebrating UFO days. The usual Coulee Classic roads\, such as Center Creek\, Mike Varanick\, and McDonough\, provide great regularities. This year\, you also get to run the Waumandee Hill Climb course. \n\n\n\nLunch is at the Silvermoon near Alma WI. We will provide a hosted lunch to speed up mealtime. \n\n\n\nFrom the organizers: “The Coulee Classic was a traditional rally run in Buffalo County and put on by the Alfa Club. It ended at the Stone Barn pizza (which you will pass). This version ends at Lucette Brewing\, which also has great wood-fired pizza and beer and soft drinks. \n\n\n\nBoth Chippewa Trail Weekend rallies will use the MiRally GPS system for timing and scoring. SUMMARY:PA: USRRC 50th Anniversary Little Appalachian Rally
DESCRIPTION:Clyde Heckler\, Rallymaster\, is celebrating an anniversary during the 2023 United States Road Rally Challenge (USRRC) on Friday\, October 20th. This year’s Little Appalachian National Course Rally is the 50th Anniversary year of his first rally for the SCCA Philadelphia Region in 1973. It is also the first National Championship rally sanctioned by the Philadelphia Region since the 1983 Appalachian Road Rally\, 40 years ago! \n\n\n\nThe 50th Little Appalachian will be a throwback event\, as it is a course rally of moderate difficulty and will use the Abridged RoadRally Rules. It uses a fixed priority list\, including the principal road rule. There are no main road determinants\, yet we’ll use the onto rule and letter instructions. The route will be in Chester County\, known for its horse farms\, and Lancaster County\, an Amish area. \n\n\n\nAt the rally’s conclusion\, the contestants will head down to New Jersey for the final two rallies of the USRRC – The Jersey Devil National Tour and Up the Creek National Course Rally by Rallymaster Jim Wakemen. \n\n\n\nThis rally will use the Richta GPS Competitor App and the SCCA Abridged RoadRally Rules. \n\n\n\nHere are some images from the early years of the Appalachian National Rally: 1960 Rally Regulations and the 1958 rally plate.

SUMMARY:CT: All the Myriad of Ways NGTA RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA New England Region’s All the Myriad of Ways is a National GTA (Game-Tour-Adventure) Road Rally and a NER special event. After a short odometer check\, contestants will receive a map of Connecticut and a list of questions. The objective is to answer as many questions as possible in the least amount of miles (think scavenger hunt). \n\n\n\nAs a National Championship SCCA event\, all competitors must be SCCA members; a Weekend Membership is available for $15. Non-SCCA members are encouraged to enter the Hurdle 2023 Regional GTA which runs the same day. \n\n\n\nTeams are limited to two adults (over age 16) per vehicle. SUMMARY:CA: Golden West 2023 Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA San Francisco Region is returning to the SCCA National Course RoadRally Championship with its Golden West 2023 Road Rally on August 26th and Gold Rush National Tour Rally on Sunday\, August 27th. The Entry Fee for SCCA Members is $90 for each rally or $170 for the weekend. An SCCA Weekend Membership is available for an additional $15\, as may be needed by a team. All registrations will be handled through MotorsportsReg. General Instructions will be emailed on August 19th\, and all entries must be received by August 21st. \n\n\n\nAs of April 20th\, the tentative schedule: \n\n\n\nRegistration at Headquarters: Friday\, August 25th\, 5:00-7:30 PM \n\n\n\nSaturday Schedule is for Car #1 to receive the Route Instructions at 8:01 AM with an 8:30 AM departure. Teams will gather at Skipolini’s Pizza\, Folsom\, CA\, ±4:45 PM. \n\n\n\nThe Golden West 2023 National Course Rally will be a scenic 190-mile rally through the foothills and Mother Lode Mining Areas southeast of Sacramento. It will be a challenging event designed for experienced rallyists familiar with SCCA RoadRally Rules and will use both Lettered and Numbered instructions and changing MRDs (Main Road Determinants). Yet the course is also easy to follow for a Novice teams with all paved roads and no special equipment or math skills required.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Andy Stocker encourages rallyists to compete in the two National Championship RoadRally events by Cal Club Region and the Santa Monica Sports Car Club the prior weekend\, August 19th and 20th\, and then spend several days heading north along the amazing California coastline. Visit places like the Getty Museum\, Santa Barbara\, Hearst’s Castle\, Big Sur\, Carmel\, Monterey Bay Aquarium\, Santa Cruz\, Bodega Bay\, Napa Valley Wineries\, and more! Then finish with the SCCA San Francisco Region’s two Sacramento rallies – Golden West 2023 National Course Rally and the Gold Rush National Tour Rally. \n\n\n\nEntrants must have the Richta GPS Competitor App installed on their phones (available for free for iOS/Android)\, as the event will use the Richta GPS Competitor App for scoring. \n\n\n\nStay tuned for more details!

During the rally\, this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!!  No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did. A bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations. Expect at least 100 checkpoints in this 180-mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone to run this event. DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this SCCA Milwaukee Region-sanctioned 180-mile time-speed-distance National Course RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic adventure through the marvelous country roads west of Madison\, Wisconsin. You’ll be tested on your ability to observe\, reason\, maintain the assigned average speeds\, and follow explicit directions. This year’s Roads Scholar National Course Rally will use both Numbered and Lettered Route Instructions. Each team must carry a “smart” phone or tablet (Android or iOS) running the current version of the Richta GPS Competitor “app.” Before the rally\, all the checkpoint information (Latitude/Longitude coordinates and target arrival times) will be uploaded to the “cloud.” Teams will receive a password allowing them to download this information for their entry. Competitors will NOT be able to view this information in advance. Upon arrival at each checkpoint\, a team’s device will sound an alert\, displaying the team’s recorded arrival time\, the score for that control\, and cumulative score. SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club Eureka Divisional Course Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Eureka Road Rally is an SCCA Divisional Course Rally written by Jeanne English. It is a companion rally to ITN’s Thunder Road\, a Monte Carlo-style SCCA National Tour Rally written by Joe Akerman on Saturday\, October 15. Both are headquartered at the Hampton Inn in Arvin (Tejon Ranch)\, CA.  Registration for Eureka opens at 8:00A; route instructions are handed out at 8:30A plus your car number in minutes. Official start time is 9:00A plus your car number\, in minutes\, but once you receive your route instructions\, you are free to leave. \n\n\n\nFrom the start\, Eureka will head east to Stallion Springs (west of Tehachapi). Besides some fun roads\, the rally will visit the Tehachapi Loop and go through a covered bridge! The rally will be lightly trapped\, with Jeanne expecting most cars to do most legs correctly. You can run it using either the SCCA RRRs or SMSCC’s General Instructions\, there will be an addendum to help make that happen. \n\n\n\nThe rally will use the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing to the second.   The maximum penalty for Eureka is 1 minute (60 seconds) per leg. Before you arrive at the start\, please download the Richta GPS Competitor app to your phone; it’s a free download for Android and Apple devices. There is no need for additional timing equipment; your Official Time shows in the app! \n\n\n\nThe entry fee for Eureka is $50 for SCCA members and $60 for non-SCCA members. Plus\, register by October 12 for a $10 discount!   \n\n\n\nThis is an SCCA Divisional Course Rally sponsored by Santa Monica Sports Car Club and Cal Club SCCA. SUMMARY:PA: Steel Haul National Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Steel Haul Course Road Rally is a 175-mile route on paved and unpaved roads to Armstrong County. It features Lettered Route Instructions (LRIs)\, Numbered Route Instructions (NRIs)\, and changing Main Road Determinants (MRDs). The Steel Haul Course Road Rally is the first of the two-day weekend\, with the Iron Run Course Rally\, on Sunday\, May 1st.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Chuck Larouere will use Open Controls and DIYCs to test contestants’ thorough understanding of the General Instructions. The course is not fast; course following is the challenge. The scenery in the area is superb\, with many streams\, valleys\, and beautiful vistas. \n\n\n\nAn SCCA National Course Rally\, Steel Haul is sanctioned by the SCCA Steel Cities Region and co-hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountain Sports Car Club. SUMMARY:NJ: Spring Fling Divisional Tour Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The South Jersey Region will hold three Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rallies this year. All three rallies will be SCCA Divisional Tour Rallies. The instructions will be easy to follow. Contestants must have a  smartphone (or tablet) and have the Competitor – Richta GPS Checkpoints  App downloaded before Registration; it is a free download and available for both Apple and Android.  \n\n\n\nVehicles will be timed at numerous checkpoint locations on the course using the Rallymaster – Richta GPS Checkpoints App. Teams will be scored on how close they arrive at their perfect calculated official time at the checkpoints.   \n\n\n\nThe start and finish of the rallies are at Carolina Blue Restaurant. Sign in from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. Awards will be presented to the Driver and Navigator\, who get the best total score for the day in several categories.   \n\n\n\nSigning up before the day of the rally is highly advisable and very important. There is a limit of 30 cars entered for each event\, and the Rallymaster needs to have ample Route Instructions printed for each Team.

SUMMARY:NJ: March Lamb National Tour Rally
DESCRIPTION:It is said that ‘March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb.’ The SCCA South Jersey Region kicks off the weekend with the March Lion\, a National Course Rally. Sunday will be the March Lamb\, a National Tour Rally. \n\n\n\nBoth events will have Equipped\, Limited and Stock Classes and Sunday’s Lamb will have an SOP (Seat of Pants) Class. \n\n\n\nThis year’s rallies will feature roads that the SJR has seldom used for rallies. The Lion is planned to be a moderately difficult Course rally using the Road Rally Rules. The Lamb will feature the Revolutionary War history from South Jersey and will visit the site of the Greenwich NJ Tea Burning and learn the story behind it. Did you know that the Boston Tea Party was the first of several Tea Parties? Many of the Tea Burners later fought in the War\, and one of them became an NJ Governor. The rally will visit other historical sites. \n\n\n\nThere will be Registration on Friday\, March 23th\, from 6P to 9P at the Headquarters hotel. \n\n\n\nMarch Lion\, Saturday\, March 24th: Registration opens at 7A and First Car Starts 8:01A. \n\n\n\nMarch Lamb\, Sunday\, March 25th: Registration opens at 6:30A and First Car Starts 7:31A. \n\n\n\nThe finish of the March Lamb on Sunday will be about 5:30P in Vineland.
