DESCRIPTION:Son of Sno*Drift Road Rally is intended to be a winter rally. As such\, it is hoped that the challenges of winter driving will be a part of the fun. Son of Sno*Drift is a straightforward Time\, Speed\, Distance (TSD) Road Rally with simple instructions and no traps. NOVICES Welcome! \n\n\n\nRoads used on Son of Sno*Drift will be primarily unpaved and run within Livingston\, Washtenaw and Jackson counties. Total distance will be approximately 175 miles with two breaks. SUMMARY:CA: Ron Dunlop Memorial Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a fun and exciting car road rally celebrating the life of Ron Dunlop\, a great guy and a tremendous rally organizer and competitor\, on Saturday\, March 19\, 2022. The Ron Dunlop Memorial Rally\, sponsored by the Into the Night Rally Team\, is sanctioned as an SCCA Divisional Tour Rally and will explore the amazing Wine Country backroads around Santa Barbara and Santa Maria. \n\n\n\nRallymaster Paul McGaffey’s Route Instructions will use a simple Monte Carlo format\, meaning you get turn-by-turn directions\, AND you will get your target time at each Checkpoint. All Timed Checkpoints are listed in the Route Instructions\, and all are referenced by prominent signs on the course. The rally is a little over 200 miles long\, and you will have seven hours of driving nirvana with many breaks for gas\, food\, and rest stops. \n\n\n\nThe object of this event is to enjoy driving sweeping\, beautiful\, challenging back roads at legal speeds while following simple directions to pass a series of checkpoints at just the right time.  \n\n\n\nThere is no need for advanced math\, no riddles\, compasses\, maps\, or gimmicks\, just glorious roads to drive with a focus on precision and accuracy. Rallying is a team sport; the Driver and Navigator must work together to get it right. \n\n\n\nThere are no average speeds. Just run at the posted speed limits (rally is timed at least two mph BELOW those limits and has pauses where needed). If you reach a timed Checkpoint early\, you can pull over\, get out of traffic lanes\, and either creep in or wait for your target time to pass by the Checkpoint. \n\n\n\nWe will be using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. This app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone or appropriate tablet. Go to the App Store\, Google Play Store\, or direct to https://richtarally.com/ and download it. There is no need for additional timing equipment; your Official Time shows in the app! \n\n\n\nWe’ve designed it to be EV-friendly. There are five stations and a Tesla Dealership near the Start in Camarillo\, five near the lunch break in Santa Maria\, two fast-charging stations\, and a Tesla Supercharger in the parking lot at the Finish in Goleta.  \n\n\n\nPlease register online here at MotorsportsReg. The registration fee is $60 per car\, with a $15 discount for SCCA members. You may still register in person at the Start. (Sorry\, but we will not be able to accept credit cards at Registration. Please use the MSR website to pay by credit card.) Both Driver and Navigator are required to complete the Waiver. To save time for both you and us at the Start\, we ask you to please enter your cell phone number where indicated near the bottom of the registration page\, and please check the ‘yes’ button just below that. Speedwaiver will send you a text\, and you follow their directions to use your phone to complete the Waiver. \n\n\n\nWe start at the Mcdonald’s rear lot. In-person Registration opens at 9:00 am; there is a beginner/Richta GPS meeting at 9:40 am\, and the first car out at 10:01 am. SUMMARY:PA: Iron Run Divisional Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Iron Run Road Rally is a 100-mile route on paved and unpaved roads in Armstrong County. The Iron Run Course Road Rally is the second of the two-day weekend\, with the Steel Haul Course Road Rally\, on Saturday\, April 30th.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Chuck Larouere will use Open Controls and DIYCs to test contestants’ thorough understanding of the General Instructions. The course is not fast; course following is the challenge. The scenery in the area is superb\, with many streams\, valleys\, and beautiful vistas. \n\n\n\nAn SCCA Divisional Course Rally\, Iron Run is sanctioned by the SCCA Steel Cities Region and co-hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountain Sports Car Club. SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club Eureka Divisional Course Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Eureka Road Rally is an SCCA Divisional Course Rally written by Jeanne English. It is a companion rally to ITN’s Thunder Road\, a Monte Carlo-style SCCA National Tour Rally written by Joe Akerman on Saturday\, October 15. Both are headquartered at the Hampton Inn in Arvin (Tejon Ranch)\, CA.  Registration for Eureka opens at 8:00A; route instructions are handed out at 8:30A plus your car number in minutes. Official start time is 9:00A plus your car number\, in minutes\, but once you receive your route instructions\, you are free to leave. \n\n\n\nFrom the start\, Eureka will head east to Stallion Springs (west of Tehachapi). Besides some fun roads\, the rally will visit the Tehachapi Loop and go through a covered bridge! The rally will be lightly trapped\, with Jeanne expecting most cars to do most legs correctly. You can run it using either the SCCA RRRs or SMSCC’s General Instructions\, there will be an addendum to help make that happen. \n\n\n\nThe rally will use the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing to the second.   The maximum penalty for Eureka is 1 minute (60 seconds) per leg. Before you arrive at the start\, please download the Richta GPS Competitor app to your phone; it’s a free download for Android and Apple devices. There is no need for additional timing equipment; your Official Time shows in the app! \n\n\n\nThe entry fee for Eureka is $50 for SCCA members and $60 for non-SCCA members. Plus\, register by October 12 for a $10 discount!   \n\n\n\nThis is an SCCA Divisional Course Rally sponsored by Santa Monica Sports Car Club and Cal Club SCCA. SUMMARY:MN: Land O' Lakes Region Flamethrower Divisional RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The Flamethrower Rally is a Regularity Rally run in MN part of the Driftless area. The course traverses the Valleys flowing into the Mississippi River\, taking advantage of the elevation changes and natural twisty roads in the valleys.  \n\n\n\nOnly two people are allowed in the car. If your navigator is a minor a special release is required.  \n\n\n\nNo special equipment is required. A smart phone with built in GPS will make it a lot easier and more fun. A free app is available from your favorite app store. The app not only provides the timing but also provides a digital roadbook similar to the one used at Dakar in 2021 and 2022. The app also does all calculations for you so that you always know if you are on time.  \n\n\n\nFor those without a smartphone or their own navigation systems we have SmartControl devices to do the timing. \n\n\n\nWe suggest you use the Rabbit Rally app to run this event. SUMMARY:MN: Minnesota Valley Winter Rally
DESCRIPTION:The course for this SCCA Land o’ Lakes Region is mostly unpaved roads traversing the Minnesota River Valley. By late March the roads could be dry\, mud\, snow or any combination. Be prepared. \n\n\n\nSunset at 7:32 PM so part of the Minnesota Valley Winter Rally will be at night but mostly daylight. External night lighting will not be required but it would’t hurt on older cars\, interior lights will be very useful.  \n\n\n\nWe advise bringing winter gear (boots\, hat\, gloves\, etc) and a blanket in case you have car trouble. A small shovel or two would be a good idea if it is still snowy. \n\n\n\nPhilosophy  \n\n\n\nThis event will not have nearly as many timing points (TP) as others we have done. We have located the TP at traditional locations used when we had to have humans work. We have thrown in a few extra at places we always wanted to put one as well. The first section we are calling the prairie stage. It’s one long stage of about 25 miles with no links. The terrain is rather flat with the interest coming via many 90 degree turns followed by a TP. From there we head down to the Minnesota River starting with the famous Salisbury Hill control before ending the first part in Henderson where you can exchange stories at the Shell station. \n\n\n\nFrom there we follow the traditional course through the tributary valleys. After a brief run up the Minnesota River Scenic Byway before one last stage before ending at Sticks. \n\n\n\nMVWR uses the MiRally GPS timing and scoring system. The advantage being contestants get to use the Rabbit Rally Digital Roadbook and rally computer on their smartphone and or tablet. SUMMARY:WI: Escape To Wisconsin Navigational Scatter
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Land of Lakes Region’s first Navigational Scatter (NavScat). For SCCA purposes\, it is sanctioned as a GTA (Games Touring Adventure). After this scatter rally\, we will be caravaning to Wisconsin Dells on our way to our final destination\, the Badger Burrow Divisional Tour\, in Fitchburg\, WI\, on Sunday. If you plan to run Badger Burrow\, you must pre-register\, as It fills quickly. \n\n\n\nNavigational Scatters were created to provide a rally challenge without the burden of staying on time.We track your progress using the MiRally transponders. Your course is converted to driving distance via GPS and Google Maps. This distance is how you will be scored. \n\n\n\nThere are several locations to visit. Plot the shortest route that takes you by all of them. Although a map will be provided\, you may use any device you want to aid you\, including online mapping. Google Maps is helpful but does not always give the shortest route. The route between the points offers many options. \n\n\n\nYou’ll have three hours and 20 minutes from the time you check in until the time you check in at the endpoint. This includes some extra time in case you make mistakes along the way. Your score is the total miles from start to end. There is a 30-mile penalty for each one you miss. \n\n\n\nYou will be asked to select a Class. No classes exist for the Escape to Wisconsin Navigational Scatter; your selection will be used for the SCCA LOL Championship. DESCRIPTION:The Milwaukee Region SCCA invites you to come run the 11th Annual Badger Burrow Tour Rallye. The event is a brisk run through Wisconsin’s driftless and moraine region\, mainly in Green County. The glaciers skipped this area during the last ice age\, leaving behind a terrain filled with valleys and ridges. The course takes full advantage of the region. Expect many curves\, ups and downs\, and paved roads that are seldom straight. Many say these are among the best sports car roads in the country. \n\n\n\nWe will be using the Richta GPS Checkpoints automatic timing and scoring system. Contestants are expected to provide an Android or Apple smartphone capable of running this app. The app times you into the hidden controls and automatically provides you with a running score. Expect more than 50 timed controls over the approximately 120-mile course. Contestants can relax and tell rally tales during the two breaks in the 5-hour event. SUMMARY:CA: Two Lane Blacktop 2023 Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:TWO LANE BLACK TOP\, an SCCA Divisional Tour\,  is the second event of the Cal Club and Into the Night Rally Team’s Double Rally Weekend! THUNDER ROAD 2023\, an SCCA National Tour Rally on Saturday\, June 17\, 2023 \n\n\n\nThis rally will run our favorite driving roads in the Santa Susana and Topatopa mountains (two of southern California’s transverse ranges) and through the farms\, orchards\, and open vistas of the Santa Clara River Valley\, including the historic towns of Fillmore and Santa Paula. \n\n\n\nThe Route Instructions for this event will use a simple Monte Carlo format\, meaning you get turn-by-turn directions and your target time at each Checkpoint. All Timed Checkpoints are listed in the Route Instructions and referenced by prominent signs on the course. The rally is a little over 150 miles long\, and you will have about 5 hours of driving excitement with frequent breaks for gas\, food\, and rest stops. \n\n\n\nAs with all Into The Night Rally Team events\, the object of this rally is to enjoy driving sweeping\, beautiful\, challenging back roads at legal speeds while following simple directions to pass a series of Checkpoints at just the right time.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Joe Akerman says “There is no need for advanced math\, no riddles\, compasses\, maps or gimmicks\, just glorious roads to drive with a focus on precision and accuracy.” This is a team sport —the Driver and Navigator must work together to get it right. At least two people (Driver and Navigator) are required per car. The rally will run\, rain or shine. \n\n\n\nThere are no preset average speeds; just run at the posted speed limits (the rally is timed at least two mph BELOW those limits and has pauses where needed). If you reach a timed Checkpoint early\, you can pull over\, get out of traffic lanes\, and either creep or stop and wait for your target time to pass by the Checkpoint. \n\n\n\nWe will be using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. SUMMARY:PA: SCCA Heck's And Back Divisional RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Heck’s and Back Roadrally is sponsored by the Philadelphia Region SCCA with the cooperation of Blue Mountain Region. The Heck’s and Back GTA RoadRally is a question-and-answer Divisional Rally that will traverse some scenic back roads in Berks County\, many of which will feature hex signs common in the area. Rallymasters Bruce Gezon and Clyde Heckler have designed a course that features some questions containing a few tricks (traps) to separate the scores.  \n\n\n\nWe offer two classes: Experienced (team members have run five or more rallies combined) and Novice.  There will be awards (hex sign themed) for first and second in Experienced\, and first through third for Novice entries.     \n\n\n\nOur route will cover approximately 70 miles\, and you will have 4 hours to complete it. The route is totally paved\, so there are no worries about dirt/rocks. \n\n\n\nAfter you register\, approximately two weeks before the event\, you will receive general instructions explaining the rules for the rally\, how to follow the course\, a glossary of terms included in the route instructions\, scoring\, etc.  General instructions will also eventually be available on this webpage.  \n\n\n\nStart:Saucony Creek Brewery Company + Gastropub in Kutztown\, PA.    \n\n\n\nSchedule of Events:10:30 am Registration opens at Saucony Creek Brewing Company + Gastropub.   \n\n\n\nPlease park in the parking lot to the left of the outdoor patio as you enter the parking lot (not in the front). SUMMARY:MI: 74th Anniversary Press On Regardless Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:We have heard from Piotr Roszczenko requesting to ‘Save the Date’ for the 75th Running of the Press on Regardless Rally. Bruce Fisher will be Rallymaster\, and as of November 17\, 2022\, it is planned to be a Double National Tour Rally.  \n\n\n\nThe event will return to the Hampton Inn\, Gaylord\, MI\, the lodging used for the 2020 POR. A block of rooms has been set aside at $129 per night plus taxes. Ten rooms are reserved\, yet the hotel will add more when those are booked; they will release the rooms on 8/24/2023.  \n\n\n\nMore details to follow.

SUMMARY:OH: Ohio Winter Rally Divisional Tour
DESCRIPTION:A Northeast Ohio tradition since 1966 is back! Neohio Region\, SCCA invites you to enter the 2024 Ohio Winter Rally. The ~165-mile route will traverse portions of northeast Ohio’s Lake Erie “snowbelt” counties.\n\n\n\nCompetitors can expect an absolutely straightforward\, gimmick-free\, Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) road rally with an emphasis on precise timing at well-placed controls.\n\n\n\nThe Divisional Rally will count toward both the SCCA Great Lakes Division Rally Championship and the SCCA National Touring Rally Championship as a Divisional Rally.\n\n\n\nCompetition Classes: \n\n\n\n     E – Equipment unrestricted. \n\n\n\n     L – Odometer unrestricted. Calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with odometer. \n\n\n\n     G – GPS–derived odometer only\, and any calculating device. \n\n\n\n     S – Stock odometer only. Calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with odometer. \n\n\n\n     Novice – Class S entry in which neither team member has previously entered more than 5 TSD rallies. \n\n\n\nNOTE: All teams must register on Motorsportreg.com\, there will be NO WALK-IN ENTRIES on the day of the event!
