SUMMARY:MI: Twilight Tour RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Spring has sprung! Time to roam the county roads for a little TSD road rallying! And Twilight Tour\, coming up on Saturday\, April 16 is just the rally to do that. Traversing ~150 miles of tasty back roads in Washtenaw and surrounding counties\, Twilight Tour is a straightforward time-speed-distance rally with no tricks or traps. Twilight Tour has been missed the past couple of seasons because of the pandemic\, and the SCCA Detroit Region is glad to have its return. It will be entertaining for the novice and experienced teams alike\, and Rallymaster Ken Wiedbusch always works hard to make sure his route instructions are clear and correct. \n\n\n\nEntry fees (per car): $45 for SCCA membersNon-members need to apply for a weekend membership. The cost is $15 per team if neither team member is an SCCA member.   \n\n\n\nAll entries must be done online. There will be no in-person ‘day of’ entries for this event. \n\n\n\nAwards will be presented to the first and second place teams in each of the following classes:E (Equipped) – unlimited equipment.L (Limited) – no limits on distance measuring equipment but only GPS odometer can be connected to computer.G (GPS Source) – all distance information must be derived from a GPS source. Calculating devices may be any electronic device (e.g. Simple Rally Computer type APPs and a GPS-Pulser providing distance input to a Rally computer).S (Stock) – distance measurement limited to the stock odometer\, in stock location. GPS odometers may NOT be used in this Class for any timing calculations.N (Novice) – any team where the total number of rallies entered by the two members of the team does not exceed six (6); and equipment is restricted to that of the Stock class. \n\n\n\nHead over to MotorsportReg and register today!
