SUMMARY:CT: Rally Against Leukemia GTA Charity RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:The Rally Against Leukemia 2026 is a Game-Tour-Adventure (GTA) Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA New England Region. Teams receive a set of route instructions that will take them from Plainville\, CT\, to Stanley Park in Westfield\, MA and then to the finish at Barrington Brewery and Restaurant in Great Barrington\, MA. Along the route\, teams will answer questions based on signs or landmarks that they pass. Awards will be given to the teams with the most correct answers along with a yet to be determined tie-breaker method. \nTeams are not required to answer the questions. They can simply follow the route and enjoy the drive through Central CT and Western MA. Registration and more event information is available at the Event Registration link below! \nAll proceeds from this event will be donated to the UMASS Medical Center to aid with their childhood leukemia research. Contestants are encouraged to collect additional donations from friends and family. Additional donations may be made in cash\, check\, or and we’ll have an online link\, too! \nBecause this is a charity event\, meant for fun rather than serious competition\, the only limitation to the number of occupants in a vehicle is that the total number of occupants per vehicle cannot exceed the number of seat belts available in the vehicle. Appropriate waivers will need to be completed and signed at registration for all occupants. For teams with more than two adults (over age 18)\, it is suggested that in the spirit of the charity nature of the event that an additional monetary donation be made for each additional adult at registration.

DESCRIPTION:The Santa Monica Sports Car Club Chapter\, of the SCCA Cal Club Region welcome you to spend the Memorial Day Weekend with us and take in three rallies: \nTHUNDER ROAD National Tour Rally\, Old Route 66 Edition\, Saturday\, May 23\, 2026\, is a 7-hour Monte Carlo-style format. Rallymaster Joe Akerman has written a very scenic course using most of the best non-urban portions of Old US 66 still remaining in California.  There will be lots of things to keep folks on both sides of the car busy. The Monte Carlo format will include your target time (CZT) at all restarts and checkpoints\, and creeping/stopping will be allowed. Thunder Road will finish about 20 minutes from the Start. \nSTAGECOACH National Tour Rally\, Sunday\, May 24\, 2026\, is a 6-hour SCCA National Tour Rally. Rallymaster Larry Scholnick has written a simple straightforward course through some of the local open country\, canyons and backroads. All checkpoints will be identified in the Route Instructions. Stagecoach will finish with about 25 minutes of the Start. \nHIGHWAY ROBBERY Divisional Course Rally\, Monday\, May 25\, 2026. Rallymaster Jeanne English has written a moderately challenging course utilizing variable Main Road Rules and covering some very exciting and picturesque driving roads. There will be variable main road determinants\, but no more than four at any time (often only two). Any type of street-legal vehicle is permitted\, and you do not have to be a member of the Sports Car Club of America. DESCRIPTION:The 43rd Kick-Off Rallye\, the kick-off event of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix\, takes place Sunday\, July 6th\, starting at Dual Devils Garage. \nThe Rallye occurs one week before our PVGP Race Week. The competition consists of a combined Monte Carlo/Gimmick rally requiring no prior experience. You can compete in any vehicle you like – any year\, any make – no restrictions. We welcome unique and different cars. With Lotus as the Marque and Mazda Miata as the Spotlight\, we expect a large contingent of each – special prizes will be awarded. \nAny motorsport enthusiast can register for a fun but competitive mystery course to test their driving\, navigational\, and trivia skills through the Pittsburgh countryside. Paul MacIntyre and Chuck Larouere are already planning new twists for this year. \nYour $80 entry donation includes your spot in the Kick-Off Rallye with a cookout for the driver and navigator. Additional passengers and meals can be purchased for $30 each. Registration is 930-1100 AM\, with a Mandatory Drivers Meeting 11-1115 AM\, and the first car departs at 1130 AM. Meals will be served as the vehicles return\, with awards at 430 PM. \nMultiple checkpoints are located early along the route and are shown in the route instructions with approximate mileage and the time the vehicle is due to cross the timing line. DESCRIPTION:Planning for this started in May\, and we’ll soon have firm details. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIn the meantime\, the Land Conservancy of Adams County is looking for those of you who would like to help with the following tasks: \n\n\n\n\nActivity planning for the stops along the route\n\n\n\nDeveloping content and quiz questions for the route instructions\n\n\n\nTest-driving the route for accuracy\, points of interest along the route\, safety\n\n\n\nPlanning the trivia game for the Finish Line Party\n\n\n\nRecruiting volunteers to help on Rally day at the start\, stops and/or Finish Line Party\n\n\n\nFinish Line Party planning\n\n\n\n\nWe have a great events committee full of hard-working and clever volunteers\, ably assisted by Sarah Kipp and Kathy Johnson.  They are guaranteed to be a pleasure to work with.  If you are interested in joining the Road Rally team and helping with any of the tasks above\, please get in touch with Betsy Meyer at ejmeyer99@hotmail.com and let her know how you can help.

SUMMARY:MA: Rally Against Leukemia
DESCRIPTION:The Rally Against Leukemia 2024 is a Game-Tour-Adventure (GTA) Rally sanctioned by the SCCA New England Region. After a short odometer check\, contestants will receive maps of the Springfield and Central Massachusetts regions of Massachusetts and a list of questions. The objective is to answer as many questions as possible in the least amount of miles. \n\n\n\nAll proceeds from this event will be donated to the UMASS Medical Center to aid their Leukemia research.  Contestants are encouraged to collect additional donations from friends and family. The team that collects and turns in the most donations will receive a special award. \n\n\n\nBecause this is a charity event meant for fun rather than serious competition\, the only limitation to the number of occupants in a vehicle is that the total number of occupants per vehicle cannot exceed the number of seat belts available. Appropriate waivers must be completed and signed at registration for all occupants. For teams with more than two adults (over age 18)\, it is suggested that\, in the spirit of the charity nature of the event\, an additional monetary donation be made for each additional adult at registration. \n\n\n\nStart/Finish: Palmer Motorsports Park\, Palmer\, MA. DESCRIPTION:The New Hope Automobile Show’s Road Rally has become popular. Many people come year after year to compete for trophies and enjoy the challenges of our scavenger hunt. \n\n\n\nCars of all kinds are welcome to participate. Of course\, being The New Hope Automobile Show\, we encourage people to bring their classic cars\, but your everyday car will work just fine. The cost is $60 per car. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we have a very special Road Rally. After you’ve answered all the clues along the route\, you’ll find yourself in one of Bucks County’s most beautiful parks. We invite you to pack a picnic lunch before leaving home. There will not be any places along the route to purchase lunch. You may not bring alcohol into the park. It’s the law. At the park\, there will be a pavilion where you can sit to eat\, or bring a blanket or lawn chairs and spread out on the ground. \n\n\n\nWelcome SCCAThis year\, we’re again teaming up with the Philadelphia Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Their support for our event assures us that it is safe and allows us to continue our road rally for years to come. \n\n\n\nGet a head start.A crucial part of this collaboration with the SCCA will be requiring all participants to complete a temporary SCCA membership form\, which all drivers and navigators must complete before they can drive in the rally. Participants will take in some of Idaho’s most beautiful landscapes with stunning views of wildflower fields against the Sawtooth Mountain backdrop. Drivers are expected to follow posted speed limit signs at all times. \n\n\n\nEach ticket\, at $150.00\, includes one vehicle entry and two guest passes. SUMMARY:CA: Ron Dunlop Memorial Charity Cruise
DESCRIPTION:The object of Ron Dunlop Memorial Charity Cruise is to enjoy driving sweeping\, beautiful\, challenging\, paved back roads at legal speeds while raising money for one of our favorite charities. All net proceeds (over $20 per car) will be donated to the Loma Linda University Medical Center\, the group that took such good care of Ron. There is no need for advanced math and no riddles\, compasses\, maps\, or gimmicks. We will rain or shine on May 18\, 2024. \n\n\n\nThis is an SCCA Cal Club-sanctioned Regional “Trek” format cruise event sponsored by the Into the Night Rally Team. It’s a non-competitive\, untimed driving event. You can run alone or with as many passengers as your vehicle has working seat belts. \n\n\n\nThe “Trek” format is a “follow-the-leader” type cruise event. There will be a lead car\, and we’ll all basically just stay in the queue behind them. Just follow the car in front of you and enjoy the roads. We will hand out a brief\, written course description at the Start to help you stay with the route if you decide to stop or whatever. You can stop anywhere for any reason: a break\, sightseeing\, photos\, etc. \n\n\n\nRegarding photos\, this event will go through the heart of the southern California wildflower area. With the rains we’ve been having\, it should be a super bloom and should still be going strong on rally day. We have found an especially scenic spot on the course in this area\, and we will have a professional photographer there to get some high-res pictures of you and your car surrounded by the wildflowers. We’ll then send each of you your photos after the event! \n\n\n\nThis event has been designed to be extremely EV-friendly. Charging stations are near both the Start and Finish. \n\n\n\nPlease register online at MotorsportsReg.com. Registration is $30 per car. SUMMARY:WI: Spring Scamper RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Region SCCA will host the 2024 Spring Scamper car rally on Sunday\, April 7th. You’re invited to join us for this new 100+ mile\, 4+ hour rally around Madison\, WI. No prior rally experience is necessary\, and any type of street-legal car is welcome. You do not have to be a member of SCCA to participate. \n\n\n\nRallymaster Jim Crittenden has designed a rally course that will take you on a scenic tour of the country roads south of Madison. This is not a race; it’s a game of precision driving where you’ll be challenged to arrive at each checkpoint at exactly the right time. Penalty points are assigned for being too fast or too slow. Trophies will be awarded to the teams with the best performances. There are no unpaved roads on the course.   \n\n\n\nYou’ll need a rally partner (Driver and Navigator) and a smartphone. The entry fee is $20 per person; two people are required in each car. Pre-registration is required; no walk-ins on the day of the event. This is a charity fundraiser for the Dane County Humane Society. This organization finds ‘furever’ homes for thousands of animals every year as well as providing emergency animal care for a variety of animals\, including dogs\, cats\, birds\, and other wildlife. Your entry fee will help support their efforts. Click here for more information about DCHS. \n\n\n\nWe’ll be using the Competitor—Richta GPS Checkpoint app system. The Richta GPS Checkpoint app will run on your smartphone\, record your arrival time at each checkpoint\, and then report your leg score immediately to you. No more waiting until the rally is over to see your score! You will need to bring a smartphone to run this rally. \n\n\n\nClasses for Spring Scamper:  \n\n\n\n1st Timer – No one in the car has run a road rally before. No math or timing calculations allowed. \n\n\n\nSOP (Seat Of the Pants) – No math or timing calculations allowed. No apps that continually report how early or late you are. Use speedometer to judge speed. \n\n\n\nCalculating – May use a device or an app to calculate earliness or lateness\, but rally computers are not allowed. Cars using Rabbit Rally app or Richta Simple Rally Computer app must run in Calculating Class. \n\n\n\nRally check-in opens at 10:30 AM. 1st car starts at 12:01 PM. \n\n\n\n1st car finishes at 4:30 PM at the Stone Porch Ale House\, Verona\, WI. \n\n\n\nGrab a partner and that car you love to drive and come celebrate Spring with us on Sunday\, April 7th\, in Madison. DESCRIPTION:WATKINS GLEN\, NY – The Toyota Green Grand Prix\, a showcase of motoring technology that aims for a cleaner environment.The single-day event will feature a fuel-efficiency competition for pre-registereddrivers of alternate-fueled vehicles\, hybrids\, and traditional gasoline-powered and diesel-powered vehicles. Individuals\, colleges and universities\, car clubs\, and manufacturers are allinvited to participate.Entries in the rallies are now being accepted through the Toyota Green Grand Prix website atwww.greengrandprix.com.The diversity of the day’s activities emphasizes the breadth of the goals of the Green GrandPrix. “The mission of the Toyota Green Grand Prix is educational\, to promote innovation insustainable transportation technologies\,” said Bob Gillespie\, chairman of the Green Grand PrixCorp.\, a non-profit organization. “We are proud that our event\, in its twelthth year\, attracts students from universities\, colleges and high schools. We want the Green Grand Prix to be a means of encouraging technology students to stay in the Northeast to help move our region to become a center for clean energy.”The Toyota Green Grand Prix’s rallies\, sanctioned by the SCCA\, offer the challenges and excitement of driving on the race track and on open roads. \n\n\n\nThe day’s first event will be the Doris Bovee Memorial Road Rally. This is a Time-Speed-Distance event held on scenic Finger Lakes Region public roads. Drivers and navigators will be scored on their ability to follow a challenging course at precise legal speeds. A 100-mile\, fuel economy event on the 2.45 mile WGI short track will follow in the afternoon. This is essentially the same configuration as the original 1957 track. The rallies are open to nearly all classes of road vehicles. The afternoon fuel economy event will include the Prius Challenge\, with special competition categories for all generations of Toyota Prius. A class for Exhibition category vehicles will also be included. \n\n\n\n“The rallies will allow competitors to establish fuel economy records in various categories on this world-famous racing venue\, now completely repaved\,” Gillespie said. \n\n\n\nMany hybrids\, plug-in hybrids and full electric vehicles are expected. \n\n\n\nThe Doris Bovee Foundation is one of the Green Grand Prix’s key supporters\, and the morning event is named in the honor of Doris Bovee\, who was a well-known area environmentalist and taught for many years in the Corning-Painted Post (NY) school district. She was known for her love of plants and birds. Ms. Bovee was also involved with SCCA road rallies and was part of the Glen Region SCCA at its inception. DESCRIPTION:Join the New Jersey Highlands Coalition for an educational driving tour through Sussex\, Morris\, and Passaic Counties to explore the history of the Ramapough Lenape in the northern Highlands.  \n\n\n\nEnjoy a drive through the Highlands Core Forest on the Spring Car Trek\, 320 square miles of the most mature and least fragmented forest in the northern part of the state. The Trek will include Wanaque Reservoir and areas of historical importance to the Ramapough Lenape near Mahwah including ceremonial lands\, the Green Valley Settlement\, and a trading post. \n\n\n\nParticipants will check in at Subaru World of Newton between 10:00 and 10:45 to receive their tour packet and turn-by-turn directions before setting out in their personal vehicles to drive the route. DESCRIPTION:Start your engines and bring your thinking caps because the first annual Fast and Purr-ious Road Rally is this July 22nd at Bond Field in Barre. Bring your friends\, family\, or coworkers and form a team to decipher clues\, find Waypoints\, and win a prize at this super fun\, family-friendly event! A Road Rally is a fun game played in the local area! Teams will be given clues that must be deciphered to find their way to certain locations. Once a team has found all 10 locations (and take their photo at our Waypoint Markers)\, they will return to the start – the first team to get back with all 10 photos wins!  \n\n\n\nThe PartyThroughout the course of the Road Rally\, we will be hosting a fun faire and BBQ that is open to the public! Vendors\, games\, food and more will be available and all proceeds will go toward helping shelter cats and kittens with food\, litter\, and vet care as they look for their forever homes! Whether you are here to play or here to compete\, this party is sure to be a ton of fun!  \n\n\n\nThe TeamsThis event is family friendly so all ages are welcome to join! Form your team with friends\, family\, and coworkers and grab your car! Entry fee is $10 per person and teams can consist of however many people fit safely in your vehicle! Dress the part because we will have a Prize for the team with the most spirit! Teams will also be encouraged to fundraise before the event for our feline friends! DESCRIPTION:The Michiana Jeep Club Rally will be on Saturday\, April 29th. This year they will again be raising money for Camp Millhouse\, to add to the $10\,000 raised in 2022.  \n\n\n\nRegistration is from 9-10 am. The first Jeeps head out shortly after. SUMMARY:CA: 56th April Fools Rallye
DESCRIPTION:The Empire Sports Car Club presents the 56th April Fools Rallye\, on Sunday\, April 2nd. The rally will also be a charity fundraiser for Canine Companions for Independence. Registration is at 1030A\, with a brief Rally School\, for those new to the sport of Road Rally\, at 11 AM. \n\n\n\nFrom Rallymaster Bob Jenkins —  \n\n\n\nThings that are helpful to bring on the rallye are one or two clip boards\, a couple of pens or pencils\, different colored highlighters\, and a pad of post its. You of course also need a navigator\, a full tank of fuel (so you do not have to make a stop for gas) and money for the entry fee and for pizza and drinks at the Mountain Mike’s Pizza at finish. Also getting to the start before 11am so you can go to the rallye school given by Master Expert Blain Hendrix. \n\n\n\nAt the finish checkpoint you will receive a critique\, explaining all the gimmicks used on the rallye. \n\n\n\nIf you have been saying\, I really want to run this rallye\, this one would be a good one to do just that. \n\n\n\nWe have a full worker crew\, so if you are not working come out and run the fun rallye and support the charity. \n\n\n\nEntry fee is $20 per team.
