SUMMARY:WI: Milwaukee Region Mini Monte Regional Tour
DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Region SCCA will be presenting a Monte Carlo-style Rallye on August 21\, 2021. The Rallye will be about 5 hours in length and will explore the back roads\, mostly in Sheboygan County. We will be visiting the northern sections of the Kettle Moraine Forest and passing Road America\, and driving a portion of the old Elkhart Lake Street Race Course. As usual\, roads are twisty\, speeds brisk\, and the scenery spectacular. \n\n\n\nA Monte Carlo-style Rallye is a bit different and will present new challenges. Instead of assigning an average speed (CAST)\, you will be given the exact mileage and a Car Zero Time for each control. The contestant needs to determine how fast to drive to arrive exactly on time. As usual\, points are assessed for each second you are early or late at each control. You can also expect to find some controls that are very closely spaced. \n\n\n\nYou can look over the General Instructions and register at http://msreg.com/MonteRallye21. SUMMARY:WI: Kettle Moraine Colors Tour Rallye
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow car enthusiasts for this five-hour\, 110-mile time-speed-distance road rally\, presented by the SCCA Milwaukee Region on Saturday\, October 30th. You and a partner (teams are a Driver and Navigator) will be issued a set of Route Instructions that will take you on a scenic journey through the marvelous country roads in the southern Kettle Moraine Forest area of Wisconsin. The Kettle Moraine is a ‘Tour’ type rally\, and there are no traps or tricks – drive\, enjoy the great roads and marvelous scenery and try to arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the right time. It is designed especially for people with little or no rally experience. \n\n\n\nCheckpoints will be set up along the way to monitor how well you are following the assigned average speeds.  \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: This rally uses automatic scoring and GPS checkpoints. Contestants need to use a smart device (phone or tablet) during the rally\, running the Richta competitor app. Automated scoring happens as your car passes a checkpoint location\, and the app will display your score immediately. Please download the app from the Playstore (Android) or Apple Store (Apple). You’ll find more information upon registration\, so click here and register today! \n\n\n\nAwards will be presented to the teams who do the best job of arriving at the checkpoints at the precise times.  \n\n\n\nStart and finish location: Nagawaukee Shopping Center near Kohl’s\, just north of I-94 at the Highway 83 exit.  \n\n\n\nCost: $40.00/car\, a minimum of two people per car is required\, but you may have up to four people per car. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event\, so register today!
