SUMMARY:WI: Badger Burrow Road Rallye
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow car enthusiasts for this 5 hour\, 120-mile time-speed-distance road rally. You and a partner (Driver and Navigator) will be issued a set of Route Instructions that will take you on a scenic journey through the great country roads in the Driftless area southwest of Madison\, Wisconsin. The Badger Burrow Road Rallye is a ‘Tour’ type rally\, and there are no traps or tricks – drive\, enjoy the great roads and marvelous scenery and try to arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the right time.  \n\n\n\nCheckpoints will be set up along the way to monitor how well you are following the assigned average speeds. Awards will be presented to the teams who do the best job of arriving at the checkpoints. The Badger Burrow is designed especially for people with little or no rally experience. We have added a TREK class for those who wish to experience the event without competing. For the TREK\, cars will travel in convoy\, led by an experienced tour leader. \n\n\n\nPre-registration\, for this SCCA Milwaukee Region rally is required for this event. General Instructions\, that explain more details about how the rally works\, will be emailed to all registered contestants two weeks before the event. \n\n\n\nSchedule:  \n\n\n\n• Check-in opens: 9:00 AM         \n\n\n\n• First Car Off: 11:01 AM \n\n\n\n• First Car Finished: Approx 4:15 PM \n\n\n\nThe ending location for awards and dining will be The Shed\, 123 N Lexington St\, Spring Green\, WI. \n\n\n\nCost: Rally entry is $40.00/car\, a minimum of 2 people per car is required\, but you may have up to 4 people per car. The TREK entry is $20.00/car No limit on the number of people per car. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: This event uses automatic scoring and Richta GPS timing. During the rally\, contestants need to use a smartphone to run the Competitor – Richta app. You will be timed automatically as your car passes the checkpoint location\, and your screen will display your score within moments.
