DESCRIPTION:The Cascade Sports Car Club wraps up its Saturday Summer Series\, a season of six events\, on Saturday\, August 17th. Their Road Rally program (aka Cascade Geargrinders) offers beginner-friendly time-speed-distance road rallies lasting three to four hours and starting and ending in the Portland area. Road rally is a game you play while going for a drive in the country. Play the game that takes you places. Season Flyer. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule:Friday\, August 16     Q&A Zoom meeting: 7 PMSaturday\, August 17     First team starts: 10:01 AM      First team arrives at the finish (approx.): 1:30 PM      Winners are announced\, and prizes are awarded soon after the last team finishes     Results emailed: Saturday evening or Sunday  Entry fee:      $25 per team for CSCC members (either driver or navigator is a Cascade member)     $35 per team for non-members  Entry requires a street-legal vehicle\, a licensed and insured driver\, a navigator\, and a smart device (e.g.\, cell phone or tablet) running the Competitor – Richta GPS Checkpoints app (free app). \n\n\n\nThese events are conducted in accordance with Cascade Sports Car Club’s Road Rally Rules. \n\n\n\nOnline registration is required\, and electronic waivers are signed on Motorsportreg.com. DESCRIPTION:Rallymasters Monte and Victoria Saager have laid out a fun cruise in Clark County’s scenic rallyland\, for their Rally by the Numbers Rally. The rally starts in northwest Portland and ends in Brush Prairie\, Washington. The route is about 90 miles long and takes a bit over three hours to complete. It has a little rally puzzle fun\, just enough to tingle your rally brain. The drive is exhilarating\, the puzzles are fun to solve\, and the scenery is spectacular. \n\n\n\nEntry is open to any type of street-legal car. You don’t have to be a club member to enter. And no prior rally experience is needed. You need to print them. On Friday at 7 pm attend a Zoom Q&A meeting. Take advantage of the Q&A meeting to ask questions. \n\n\n\nOn Saturday morning\, leave the start by your assigned out time. Follow the route instructions to the end. Soon after all teams finish the rally\, winners will be announced\, and prizes will be awarded at the ending location. Results will be emailed on Saturday evening or Sunday.
