SUMMARY:CT: CVR Ice Cream Social Distancing Rally
DESCRIPTION:After a very successful run last year\, we are happy to offer the return of the Ice Cream Social Distancing Rally. This event is a ‘Photos and Questions’ only Rally where participants navigate between local ice cream shoppes whilst winding through some of the best driving roads in Connecticut.  \n\n\n\nThis is an entirely self-service Rally that can be performed at any time between July 1 and July 11. Take it as slow or as fast (within the limit) as you like. Run the course over again on another day if you missed something. It’s totally up to you. The route ends at Lenny & Joe’s Fish Tale – 1301 Boston Post Road\, Madison\, CT. Just make sure to submit your answer sheets to us at Rally@cvrpca.org by the end of July 11. \n\n\n\nAt least one member of each Rally team must be a Porsche Club of America member. This event is open to all active PCA members\, regardless of Region. Registrations without a member number listed will be canceled.

DESCRIPTION:The First Friday Niter Series has a long history with the Santa Monica Sports Car Club\, a Chapter of the SCCA California Sports Car Club. The Rallymaster for the July event will be Jeanne English. \n\n\n\nRegistration opens at 7 PM\, with a Beginner/Richta App meeting at 740 PM. The first car is out at 801 PM. The entry is $25\, with a $10 discount if either the Driver or Navigator is an SCCA Member. Should you run the FFNs regularly\, this becomes an excellent reason to join the SCCA and other discounts available from National. \n\n\n\nWe are still practicing COVID-19 restrictions – primarily wearing masks and social distancing. We continue to use the Richta Competitor GPS app for checkpoints\, so no manned checkpoints or control cards to pass in and out of the car; there’s a new version\, 1.20\, that should automatically update on your phone when you log in. Each checkpoint sign will be clearly shown in the instructions\, so no guesswork will be needed.

SUMMARY:TX: Historic Tour of San Antonio Social RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:San Antonio has had more battles fought within its city limits than any other town in North America. These battles occurred while San Antonio was under the jurisdiction of Spain\, the Republic of Mexico\, the Republic of Texas\, and the United States. This Road Rally will take you to the approximate location of each site; however\, the exact location of some of the sites is not known\, and other sites ranged over several miles. If you want a more detailed investigation of any site\, you are encouraged to revisit site(s) on your own and at your convenience. The oldest two sites date from 1813\, and the latest site dates from the 1870s. \n\n\n\nThis is a non-speed social Road Rally whose route will be along city streets\, and speed bumps may be an issue for some cars. We will start on the west side of San Antonio\, proceed to the far south side\, and then complete our tour just north of downtown. It should take between 90 minutes and two hours for this Road Rally as you learn about the history of San Antonio.  Questions will be asked along the way\, but awards will not be based on questions or a car’s finish position. This Road Rally is meant to be a fun social outing and learning event. DESCRIPTION:Cascade Sports Car Club’s Saturday Road Rally Series offers beginner-friendly time-speed-distance road rallies\, lasting from three to four hours\, starting and ending in the Portland area. The July 17th road rally begins at Milwaukie Lowe’s. \n\n\n\nEntry fee: $20 per car for CSCC members (either Driver or Navigator is a CSCC member)$30 per car for non-members   \n\n\n\nSchedule: July 17thFirst car out: 10:01 am First car arrives at the finish (approx.): 1:30 pm Results emailed: after all cars finish  Entry requires a street-legal vehicle\, a licensed and insured driver\, a navigator\, and a smart device (e.g.\, cell phone or tablet) running the Competitor Richta GPS Checkpoints app. \n\n\n\nDay-of-event on-site registration will not be available. Due to the continuing pandemic\, the Saturday Series Rally will be Cascade’s tenth TSsD (Time Speed social Distance) road rally conducted in compliance with the Cascade Geargrinders Coronavirus Message. \n\n\n\nAfter completing online registration by the deadline of midnight\, July 14th\, you will receive an email providing further instructions\, including your car number assignment\, instructions for registering your car number in the Competitor Richta app\, and a link to e-sign the required event insurance waiver. Once you’ve completed these check-in steps\, we’ll email the route instructions on Friday. You’ll need to print them. Friday evening\, there will be a Q & A Zoom meeting. \n\n\n\nOn Saturday morning\, leave the start by your assigned out time. Follow the route instructions to the end. SUMMARY:WI: United States Road Rally Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The 2021 United States Road Rally Challenge\, sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America over the July 30 – August 1st weekend\, will consist of one National Course Rally followed by two National Tour Rallies. All events will follow the 2021 RRR’s for Championship rallies. At this time it’s hard to say anything about the gatherings before and after the rally. There are no known COVID rules at the Hotel or other gathering points. \n\n\n\nThe weekend kicks off with a reception on Thursday evening at the host hotel. Clarence Westberg will be the Rallymaster for the Sparta Trails National Tour on Saturday\, and Mike Thompson will be the Rallymaster for the Sturculinus Creek National Course on Friday and the Badger Bash National Tour on Sunday. Three National Rallies in three days! \n\n\n\nAll rallies will begin at the Best Western Plus Sparta Trail Lodge (608-269-2664). The block on rooms expires on June 30. The magic words for called-in reservations are United States Road Rally Challenge\, Rally\, or Road Rally. The rate is $119 per night. \n\n\n\nRegistration closes July 25th\, 11:59PM.
