SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club First Friday Niter Social Roadrally
DESCRIPTION:It is time for the First Friday Niter Road Rally of 2024\, sanctioned by The SCCA\, Cal Club Region\, and the Santa Monica Sports Car Club\, and it starts off with Rallymaster Joanna Weissen\, who is taking us on her annual tour of Christmas lights. We are traveling primarily in Burbank this year with some Glendale thrown in. There are lots of lights\, including a couple of displays with synchronized music (if they are still up – cross your fingers). The rally ends at the IHOP at 913 N San Fernando Blvd\, Burbank\, CA 91504\, 818-842-8622. \n\n\n\nThis rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing in seconds. This month’s maximum penalty is 30 seconds (one-half minute) per leg. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the App Store\, Google Play Store\, or https://richtarally.com/. There is no need for additional timing equipment or clocks – your Official Time shows in the app!  \n\n\n\nIf you want to see all the scores at the Finish\, download the FREE Richta Scoreboard app. \n\n\n\nPlease try to register online here on MotorSportReg. If that doesn’t work for you\, you can still register in person at the start. We start at the Bank of America rear lot; in-person registration opens at 7:00 PM\, with the first car out at 8:01 PM; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 PM. We’ll head out to the backroads of the Angeles National Forest before finishing at the Toppers Pizza at Sierra and Soledad in Santa Clarita.

This car rally is sanctioned by the Thunder Bay Autosport Club\, with Rallymaster Brad Folino. The rally will gather at the rally sponsor\, Half-Way Motors in Thunder Bay. \n\n\n\nThe course will take you on a fun and (mostly) friendly adventure around the Thunder Bay Area\, so book the evening of February 10th to come and have a fun-filled evening with your team of a Driver and Navigator and\, of course\, your vehicle of choice. SUMMARY:• IN: Cabin Fever Vaccine Drive
DESCRIPTION:The Cabin Fever Vaccine Drive is a simple Time/Speed/Distance drive for lunch to The Overlook in Leavenworth\, Indiana. It’s a vaccine without pills or needles and has now been approved by the RRSS (which is not the FDA). \n\n\n\nThe route is all nicely paved and is nearly overloaded with checkpoints.  In a break from our norm\, the event will be scored in six sections with cumulative scoring within each section.  (If you don’t understand\, don’t fret.  It won’t be a problem.) \n\n\n\nThink of the vaccine as a simple drive with lots of feedback on your ability to maintain a constant speed. The checkpoints come so often that there’s little time for much correcting between some of the checkpoints. There are few speed changes. Free zones are through congested areas\, so there is no CAST issue stress there. With the number of checkpoints\, high checkpoint scores (without WORKING to get them) should be rare. Total scores may be another thing because there are SO MANY checkpoints\, and the cumulative scoring ripple. \n\n\n\nThis 80-mile route even has two bio break opportunities. \n\n\n\nThe starting point is the McDonald’s on Bartlett Ave. in Evansville.Check-in at 9:00 A.M. SUMMARY:IL: Wolf Moon 2024 Monte Carlo Tour Rally
DESCRIPTION:(Rescheduled from Jan. 26 because of flooded roads. Teams that registered for Jan. 26 and planning to run Feb. 24 do not have to re-register. Team information will carry over to Feb. 24.) \n\n\n\nThis St. Louis Region\, SCCA\, Wolf Moon 2024 is an evening Monte-Carlo-style tour and social event of about 60 miles similar to the Region’s Tulips by Night and Tulips Redux road rallies. Expect paved Madison County\, IL\, county roads\, easy-to-follow tulip diagrams for route instructions\, and several GPS checkpoints. \n\n\n\nWe will have Check-in at 5PM\, Safety Check at 545P\, and the first car departs at 601PM. \n\n\n\nThe Wolf Moon 2024\, will have a limited field of 20 teams. There is only pre-registration available for this event and you’ll find more details at Motorsportreg. We start from the Troy Park & Ride and will end at DeCamp Station Roadhouse on historic Route 66 (today\, Illinois 4) outside Staunton\, Ill. DeCamp Station has been a stop on Route 66 since the highway was established in 1926. Over its 98-year history\, DeCamp has served as a speakeasy\, gangster hangout\, brothel\, dance hall\, tourist camp/motor hotel\, and local restaurant/tavern. Today\, it is a classic neighborhood sports bar as well as a popular local venue that hosts summertime softball and volleyball leagues and tournaments. An SCCA team is defined as a team in which at least one participant is an SCCA member. The $40.00 entry fee for a non-member team includes a $20.00 SCCA Weekend Membership for the team’s “primary entrant\,” i.e.\, the member who pays the entry fee.
