SUMMARY:IN: Michiana Jeep Club Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Michiana Jeep Club Rally will be on Saturday\, April 29th. This year they will again be raising money for Camp Millhouse\, to add to the $10\,000 raised in 2022.  \n\n\n\nRegistration is from 9-10 am. The first Jeeps head out shortly after. Come have a great time in your Jeep looking for obscure clues/items on some roads you’ve never seen before! This is a scored event with prizes at the end. The route is about 36 miles long with 3 checkpoints; at the checkpoints\, you will be asked a trivia question and be given a challenge to complete\, both earning points. \n\n\n\nBring a sense of adventure\, at least one other person\, a clipboard\, a pen\, and a keen eye! \n\n\n\nThe entry fee is $30 per Jeep. We will have raffles and a 50/50\, with all monies raised going to Camp Millhouse.

SUMMARY:TX: Texas Region Spring Paradise Trek
DESCRIPTION:The Texas Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) invites all fellow car enthusiasts to this Spring Paradise Trek in Denton and Wise counties. A Trek is a non-competitive driving event on scenic country roads. There are no questions\, puzzles\, tricks\, traps\, or timed controls\, just a fun (and stress-free) drive following a pre-determined route using a “convoy style” format. We’ll provide basic route instructions as a backup only. All are welcome\, and no prior rally experience is necessary. \n\n\n\nWe’ll set out from The Horny Toad Café & Bar in Denton\, then wind our way on twisty back roads\, some of them within the LBJ National Grassland\, ending in Paradise\, Texas (the town\, not the state of mind). We’ll stop for a group picture at one or two sites along the route. For added fun\, we plan to stop along the way to visit Eagles Canyon Raceway (ECR)\, where we can briefly tour the facilities\, observe cars on track\, and enjoy a quick lunch at the Over the Top Bar & Grill. \n\n\n\n\nCheck-in and starting place: The Horny Toad Café & Bar\n\n\n\nRegistration/check-in: 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Rally Day\n\n\n\nSafety Briefing: 10:35 AM\n\n\n\nCars leave the start: 10:45 AM\n\n\n\nLength: ~90 miles (~4 hours\, including stops)\n\n\n\nFinish: ~3:00 pm in Paradise\, Texas\, where we will take a group photo.\n\n\n\nOptional before heading home: homemade ice cream at Bless Your Mouth near Bridgeport.  \n\n\n\nRally type: Trek. Non-scored organized scenic drive.\n\n\n\nRoute: paved roads in Denton\, Wise\, and (a little corner of) Cooke counties; we may encounter brief stretches of uneven pavement\, which may influence your choice of vehicle on Rally Day\n\n\n\nVehicles: Sports Cars\, Family Cars\, Classic Cars\, Antiques\, anything with four wheels that’s street-legal is OK in this Rally. SUMMARY:PA: Steel Haul Tour Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:A sure sign of Spring is the Steel Haul Course and Tour Rallies sanctioned by the SCCA Steel Cities and Blue Ridge Mountain Sports Car Club; this year\, they take place over April 29-30th. Registration will occur Friday evening\, April 28th\, 6-9:00 PM\, in the Holiday Inn breakfast area. \n\n\n\nChuck Larouere will serve as Rallymaster for the Steel Haul Course Rally\, and Carl Staab will Rallymaster the Steel Haul Tour Rally. The rallies are eligible for the National Championships. \n\n\n\nThe Richta GPS Competitor will be used for scoring\, and all teams must have the App loaded on their smart device (phone or tablet) before Registration. \n\n\n\nRegistration is via paper\, and forms with payment shall be mailed to Registrar Rick Beattie\, 352 Woodside Road\, Pittsburgh\, PA 15221. During onsite Registration Friday evening\, Lois Van Vleet will check entry forms for completeness\, have SCCA Adult Waivers signed by both Driver and Navigator and complete the SCCA Membership and Drivers’ License verification.
