DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Indianapolis Region is baaaaccck!  \n\n\n\nWe’re Back!!!! The North Side of Indy Rally\, is sanctioned by the SCCA Indianpolis Region\, is a Game Tour Adventure (GTA) style RoadRally. It is run on public roads and requires at least two participants in the vehicle (driver and navigator). Participants are given tasks to accomplish at several locations and need to complete them by traveling the least miles. Tasks include taking pictures\, finding objects\, and answering questions based on information found along the route. Detailed information is in the General Instructions. \n\n\n\n2:30-3:00 P.M Registration \n\n\n\nWaivers and Weekend Membership forms will be in the registration packets) \n\n\n\n3:15 P.M. Mandatory Safety Meeting (call in from your car) \n\n\n\n3:30 P.M + Car Number Start of Rally \n\n\n\n7:00 P.M + Car Number should arrive at endpoint (same as the start). SUMMARY:MI: Twilight Tour RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Spring has sprung! Time to roam the county roads for a little TSD road rallying! And Twilight Tour\, coming up on Saturday\, April 16 is just the rally to do that. Traversing ~150 miles of tasty back roads in Washtenaw and surrounding counties\, Twilight Tour is a straightforward time-speed-distance rally with no tricks or traps. Twilight Tour has been missed the past couple of seasons because of the pandemic\, and the SCCA Detroit Region is glad to have its return. It will be entertaining for the novice and experienced teams alike\, and Rallymaster Ken Wiedbusch always works hard to make sure his route instructions are clear and correct. \n\n\n\nEntry fees (per car): $45 for SCCA membersNon-members need to apply for a weekend membership. The cost is $15 per team if neither team member is an SCCA member.   \n\n\n\nAll entries must be done online. There will be no in-person ‘day of’ entries for this event. \n\n\n\nAwards will be presented to the first and second place teams in each of the following classes:E (Equipped) – unlimited equipment.L (Limited) – no limits on distance measuring equipment but only GPS odometer can be connected to computer.G (GPS Source) – all distance information must be derived from a GPS source. Calculating devices may be any electronic device (e.g. Simple Rally Computer type APPs and a GPS-Pulser providing distance input to a Rally computer).S (Stock) – distance measurement limited to the stock odometer\, in stock location. Jim Knepper is the Rallymaster for this GTA rally. It is not a precisely timed event\, and no calculations are necessary. Questions that can be answered along the route will provide scoring opportunities. You do not have to be a member to be eligible to earn points. DESCRIPTION:Spend Sunday afternoon\, April 24th\, with the Southern Indiana Region\, navigating the Evansville\, Indiana\, road system. \n\n\n\nRegistered rally entrants will begin assembling at 12:00 PM in the Penn Station Subs\, in the strip mall between Walgreen’s and the Old National Bank at Green River and Lynch in Evansville. \n\n\n\nRoad rally ‘Novice’ instruction will begin at about 12:15 PM and run approximately 30 minutes. \n\n\n\nAt 12:45 PM\, we’ll begin our Drivers meeting in the restaurant. \n\n\n\nAt 1:15 PM\, we’ll head to the First Federal’s parking lot at 4920 Davis Lant to line up for the rally. The odometer check will begin at the First Federal’s lot exit. \n\n\n\nPre-event registration is required. SUMMARY:PA: Steel Haul National Course Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Steel Haul Course Road Rally is a 175-mile route on paved and unpaved roads to Armstrong County. It features Lettered Route Instructions (LRIs)\, Numbered Route Instructions (NRIs)\, and changing Main Road Determinants (MRDs). The Steel Haul Course Road Rally is the first of the two-day weekend\, with the Iron Run Course Rally\, on Sunday\, May 1st.  \n\n\n\nRallymaster Chuck Larouere will use Open Controls and DIYCs to test contestants’ thorough understanding of the General Instructions. The course is not fast; course following is the challenge. The scenery in the area is superb\, with many streams\, valleys\, and beautiful vistas. \n\n\n\nAn SCCA National Course Rally\, Steel Haul is sanctioned by the SCCA Steel Cities Region and co-hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountain Sports Car Club. SUMMARY:MI: Metamora Road Rally Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:The Metamora Lioness Lions will hold a Road Rally Scavenger Hunt on Saturday\, April 30. Start and finish are the Metamora Lions Hall\, 3790 N. Oak St. in Metamora. Arrive at 5:30 PM for a 6 PM start. The rally finish is at 10 p.m. \n\n\n\nThe road rally allows participants to test their GPS skills\, answer questions\, solve riddles\, and capture pictures/items along the designated route. The road rally is composed of a series of encrypted messages that need to be solved. Once understood\, each message will direct teams to drive to a specific location where they must find the answer to a question. Each correct answer is worth points. The most points win. \n\n\n\nDrinks and snacks will be provided at the hall from 9-11:30 p.m. Alcohol is BYOB at the after-party. Prizes will be awarded to first\, second and third-place finishers. \n\n\n\nThe maximum is four people per vehicle. Must be 21 to attend. \n\n\n\nAll proceeds will go to the Metamora community through partner charities Leader Dogs for the Blind and Bear Lake Camp. \n\n\n\nEarly registration is $30 per person.
