DESCRIPTION:This is an easy rally of about 50 miles\, and is designed as a fun way for our group to drive to a nice restaurant in Betterton Maryland. Barbara’s on the Bay is located at Rigby Bluff\, which offers a great view of the Sassafras river and Chesapeake Bay. The drive is a pleasant romp through farmland and vast open spaces\, and some of the region’s equestrian operations. (Also the same roads that our own ‘Duke’ Wilford used when learning to drive.) \nThe restaurant is farm-to-table and has a diverse menu. Prices are reasonable and meals are filling. Craft beers are featured and outdoor dining on their deck is available. For rally purists\, the Bare Branch Bivouac at Betterton Beach is an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy a relaxed afternoon’s drive. DESCRIPTION:Son of Sno*Drift Road Rally is intended to be a winter rally. As such\, it is hoped that the challenges of winter driving will be a part of the fun. Son of Sno*Drift is a straightforward Time\, Speed\, Distance (TSD) Road Rally with simple instructions and no traps. NOVICES Welcome! \n\n\n\nRoads used on Son of Sno*Drift will be primarily unpaved and run within Livingston\, Washtenaw and Jackson counties. Total distance will be approximately 175 miles with two breaks. Mileages will be provided with each instruction\, which will be by tulip diagram and written description. \n\n\n\nWith very few exceptions\, this rally will run to the SCCA tour rally rules. SUMMARY:TX: Third Annual History Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join the fun history scavenger hunt in Willis on January 23 from 1pm to 5pm. The annual History Road Rally encourages family and friends to learn more about the history of Montgomery County. The event will be held at the North Montgomery County Community Center at 600 Gerald Street in Willis–Rain or Shine!\nRegistration in advance by contacting Sue Ann Powell at 936-525-7311 or Larry Foerster at 936-537-9070. Pre-registration per team is $30 and registration at the door from 12 to 1pm is $40.  Trophies and gifts to the top 3 scoring teams by our sponsor–Gullo Ford-Toyota-Mazda.  Complimentary pizza and drinks for all participants.  Each team member receives a souvenir “History Road Warrior” button.
