SUMMARY:NY: Mohawk Hudson Roundabout Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Roundabout Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA Mohawk-Hudson Region\, will have onsite Registration 915A to 945A. A Safety/Driver’s meeting follows at 945A\, with the first car departing at 10A. There is a Stewart’s across the street for those needing gas\, restroom\, snack\, or a beverage before we start. \n\n\n\nTeams will be given a rally route book with instructions to turn\, drive “X” distance at “Y” speed\, then\, turn…. and so on and so on. Precision driving is key. Early is as bad as being late. Points are accumulated for both early and late. The lowest score wins. There will be somewhat hidden checkpoints to confirm team progress throughout the rally. All teams will finish at a restaurant to be announced in the rally route book\, where we will commence the storytelling and enjoy good food with great friends.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual Fall Fling Road Rally\, hosted by the Finger Lakes Region SCCA. This Time / Speed / Distance (TSD) rally will serve as a great introduction to the sport\, as well as provide veteran rallyists a chance to dust off their skills in advance of our Winter Series starting in December. This is a ±70-mile tour-style rally on mostly paved roads (some gravel) with amazing scenery! \n\n\n\nFor this event\, we will be running two classes: Experienced and Novice\, and one speed group: C-Speed (36 mph). SUMMARY:NJ: Fun With Cars Day Ciocca Corvette Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Ciocca Corvette Road Rally (CCRR) is a Time-Speed-Distance(TSD) Road Rally sanctioned by the SCCA South Jersey Region set to run on Saturday\, November 12th. The CCRR will begin at Ciocca Corvette and end at Oyster Creek Inn. Entry for the 2022 CCRR is limited to 30 cars\, so don’t delay registering! \n\n\n\nAll the roads used on the Rally are scenic paved back roads with little traffic that are fun to drive. Each Car will be given a set of route instructions that shows the contestants the roads upon which to travel. These instructions also tell exactly how fast to drive. All speeds are at or below the posted safe speed limits along the route. All cars will accrue a one (1) point penalty for each one (1) second early or late they arrive at each Timing Control. A Rally is not a Race. Driving fast is not the object. The Contestants that control their speed the best will be the winners. Cars are spaced apart in 1-minute intervals. Car 1 begins the CCRR rally at 10:31A. The Rally Committee calculates the perfect entry time at each control by using the assigned Speed over the measured Distance to determine the perfect Time. (Thus\, a TSD rally). \n\n\n\nThe winners of the Road Rally\, like golf\, are the lowest score. Our rally is designed for contestants with little or no rally experience. Trophies will be awarded to cars with the three lowest scores\, the lowest all-female team\, and the car that finishes in last place. \n\n\n\nContestants will need to download the Richta GPS Competitor app before the day of the rally. The App is used to time your progress. The exact time each car reaches all the Timing Controls will be recorded by your cell phone in the rally car using the Richta Competitor app. The app will then verbally announce how far off the official time you arrived\, including if you were early or late. The Richta GPS Competitor app is free to download via the Apple or GooglePlay stores. Details of how to download and use the app will be sent to all contestants via Email after you register for the rally. \n\n\n\nThe Rally finishes at Oyster Creek Inn\, a very popular with residents for its excellent food.  See their menu. DESCRIPTION:The day after Veteran’s Day 2022\, Saturday\, November 12th\, the NEOkla Region Sports Car Club of America will present the Visites Des Piste de Course. This is an ‘Average Joe’ SCCA Social Road Rally that will tour Oklahoma’s former and current permanent road race circuits! \n\n\n\nBeginning at the Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza parking lot atop Crybaby Hill in Tulsa\, Oklahoma the route will cover Avery Drive (named after the Route 66 icon\, Cyrus Avery)\, most of the hilly\, winding Coyote Trail in west Tulsa County\, make a lap or two of the housing development that used to be the Warbonnet Raceway Park\, followed by a cruise through two 129-year-old towns in south Pawnee County. The rally will end at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit.  \n\n\n\nOnce in the facility\, participants can join in on Hallett’s Veterans Celebration Day where there will be a car show\, food trucks\, the Finish Line indoor cafe will be open and parade laps around the 1.8 mile circuit will be offered at lunch time. You’ll travel on central PA roads following a timed route described in the clue book\, answering questions about the sights you see along the way. Scores calculated while you socialize over FREE dinner at the secret finish location. Enter raffle drawings for prizes\, and trophies for top scoring teams and best costumes. If you enjoy a challenge\, or are looking for something fun and different to try\, this is the event for you! Bring your friends and family. The entry fee is $40 per Driver/Navigator Team and $10 for each additional Passenger over 11 years of age. \n\n\n\nRegistration: Opens at 1:30 pm  \n\n\n\nParticipant Meeting: 2:45 pm  \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off the Line: 3:00 pm  \n\n\n\nThe Overview: You will need a Driver and a Navigator\, and may bring as many passengers as you have seatbelts. SUMMARY:NH: New England Region Big Lap RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:Big Lap Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA New England Region\, will run on Saturday\, November 5th. The rally starts at Mcdonald’s in Epsom\, NH. This auto event will challenge teams of a Driver and a Navigator to follow tulip instructions as they explore approximately 160 miles of central NH backroads. Expert teams will be challenged to stay on course and on time. Novices are welcome\, and they should have no problem following the tulip instructions. Paved and unpaved public roads will be used\, and while all vehicles are welcome\, it may not be suitable for all cars\, especially lowered cars. The event is not a race; all speeds are within posted speed limits. \n\n\n\nThe Richta GPS App will be used for timing and scoring\, so all teams must download the app to their smartphone or tablet. \n\n\n\nOnline registration closes November 3rd\, and we encourage you to register online at Motorsportreg. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked by November 1st.  \n\n\n\nRegistration is open 8A-915A Saturday\, with a 930A meeting for all contestants. The team departs at 10A + their car number in minutes. DESCRIPTION:Each car must have a Regular Member or at least one Weekend Member in the car during driving portions of the tour. Dominion Drive Trek ’22 will take off on November 5th from the Dominion Raceway South main parking lot. Throughout the day\, Old Dominion territory will be toured to the delight of sports and touring car enthusiasts. Along Lake Anna and up through rarely seen countryside with amazing stops along the way\, and the long way from Thornburg to Bluemont.  \n\n\n\nCallaway Classics Car Show\, lunch stop\, pass through the middle of Mount Weather property on 601\, TWA Flight 514 monument\, and on to the Twin Oaks Tavern Winery. \n\n\n\nAbout 200 miles will be covered in the 5-hour tour (no lost islands involved\, think Gilligan’s Island).  \n\n\n\nIf you would like to come to explore the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania area the night before\, there are plenty of great places to dine. The rally finishes at the IHOP at Kanan and the 101 Freeway\, 5301 Kanan Rd\, Agoura Hills. \n\n\n\nWe are using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing to the tenth of a second. SUMMARY:TX: Waco National Mammoth Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join the SCCA Lone Star Region on their Waco Run Road Rally\, from Seguin to Waco\, where they will have a late lunch at the El Conquistador Restaurant before visiting one of several Waco attractions\, including the Waco Memorial Mammoth Museum\, the Texas Ranger Museum\, the Mayborn Museum Complex\, the Dr. Pepper Museum\, or the Cameron Park Zoo. This non-speed family event will be a wonderful chance to enjoy Texas country roads in the fall. Participants will be asked to answer 30 questions about the rally route. All awards are voted on by participants at the end of the event. \n\n\n\nEach team must have a valid inspection sticker and a Driver with a valid driver’s license; the car must also have proof of insurance and a Navigator who reads English. Children are welcome\, but children under 18 must have an SCCA Minor Waiver signed by both parents. Children\, if qualified\, may be Drivers or Navigators. The fee is only $25 per car whether a member of SCCA or not. This route will be over paved Federal\, State\, and County roads. \n\n\n\nThe Rally will start with Saturday registration from 9-10 AM. There will be a Safety Briefing at 9:45\, after which cars will be released to follow the rally route to Lockhart\, Elgin\, Taylor\, and a host of smaller towns. Once the participants reach Waco\, they are directed to El Conquistador Restaurant in southwest Waco\, where we hope to meet up with members of the Ft. Worth-Dallas Road Rally coming from the north. After voting on Road Rally awards\, participants will be given instructions on several Waco attractions they can visit. \n\n\n\nSCCA events are still asked to observe COVID precautions\, so we ask whoever attends the 9:45 Safety Briefing to wear a mask and/or separation protocols.  If you experience symptoms of COVID immediately before the event\, your money will be refunded. \n\n\n\nThe GOAL of the SCCA is to Have Fun with Cars!

SUMMARY:TX: Let's Meet at Waco Trek Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Texas Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) invites all fellow car enthusiasts to this Trek rally down to Waco. A Trek is a non-competitive driving event on scenic country roads. No questions\, puzzles\, tricks or traps\, or timed controls\, just a fun (and stress-free) drive following a pre-determined route using a “convoy style” format. Rallymaster John Poulos will provide basic route instructions as a backup only. All are welcome\, and no prior rally experience is necessary. \n\n\n\nWe start in Arlington\, then the Let’s Meet at Waco Trek Rally will wind our way on twisty backroads to Waco\, passing through Glen Rose\, Meridian\, and other points before ending at a restaurant in Waco\, where we’ll enjoy a meal and camaraderie with fellow rallyists from the SCCA Lone Star Region (Austin-San Antonio). We’ll stop for a group picture at one or two sites along the way.  \n\n\n\nRegistration/Check-in at Summit Racing Equipment\, in Arlington\, at 845 AM. We’ll have a Safety Briefing at 915 AM\, and the first car departs at 930 AM. The rally spans a distance of 180 miles\, approximately five hours in length. The route is on paved roads in North Central Texas; we may encounter brief stretches of uneven pavement\, which may influence your vehicle choice on Rally Day. All vehicles are welcome: sports cars\, family cars\, classics\, antiques\, and anything with four wheels that’s street legal is okay in this Rally. Note: speed is not a factor. \n\n\n\nWe finish around 2:00 PM at El Conquistador Mexican Restaurant in Waco\, where we will share a beverage or meal with fellow rallyists from the Lone Star Region\, who will end their own Waco National Mammoth Monument Rally at this restaurant. \n\n\n\nAfter lunch\, teams may optionally visit Waco sights\, such as the Waco Mammoth National Monument\, Dr. Pepper Museum\, Magnolia Market\, and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum\, before heading home. \n\n\n\nNo requirement for at least two people in each car unless you separate from the group and rely on (backup) route instructions. We will\, yet we wanted to give you a heads-up. \n\n\n\nStarting at sea level in Lima\, Peru\, only six days later\, we will sleep at over 3\,600 metres in La Paz\, the Bolivian capital. The salt flats of Bolivia and northwestern Argentina will give way to the green vineyards of Mendoza. Following the Andes south\, we enter the breathtaking lake district around Bariloche before making our way into Chile\, where the days will get decidedly cooler as the scenery becomes ever more dramatic. Glaciers and deep blue lakes surrounded by snow-peaked mountains will abound before we finally enter magical Patagonia\, where our destination is the city at the end of the earth\, Ushuaia. \n\n\n\nOur route designers have searched for the finest roads this continent can supply. At the same time\, the entire ERA team will provide the mechanical\, medical\, and logistical support for which the organisation is world-famous. SUMMARY:NH: Great American Mountain Rallye Revival
DESCRIPTION:History of the Original Great American Mountain Rallye 1953-1957 \n\n\n\nThe flag dropped on the first GAMR on Thanksgiving Day of 1953\, and the rally continued every November through 1957. Described in the April 1956 issue of Auto Age as “America’s longest\, toughest\, and coldest rallye\,” the races attracted driving teams from across America\, Europe\, and Scandinavia. Conducted the weekend of American Thanksgiving\, the rally typically featured challenging snowy weather through New York’s Adirondack\, New Hampshire’s White\, and Vermont’s Green Mountains. Tire chains were an absolute must! \n\n\n\nIn its day\, the Great American Mountain Rallye attracted top teams from around the world. The Rootes Team entered Sheila van Damm in 1953 and 1954. The late great Stirling Moss also competed in this rally in 1954. The great Maurice Gastonides\, the 1953 Monte Carlo Rally winner\, was also a competitor. One year\, the official starter was multi-time world driving champion Juan Manuel Fangio. \n\n\n\nThis year will be the fourth running of the “Revival.” Our first three years were huge successes\, and we plan for this year to be as good or better than last! \n\n\n\nGAMRR 2022 \n\n\n\nGAMRR is a hybrid rally incorporating a “Tour” and a Regularity Rally traversing approximately 400 miles. There will be a course to follow through the New Hampshire Lakes Region\, the White Mountains\, and Maine utilizing written (NRIs) and Tulip instructions and a short map-reading section. SUMMARY:PA: Ghost Tracks GTA Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Ghost Tracks GTA Rally is sanctioned by the SCCA Allegheny Highlands Sports Car Club and was upgraded to a National GTA Rally.  \n\n\n\nGhost Tracks is a shortest-distance rally\, an untimed RoadRally following an undefined route. Instead of the usual route instructions and timing controls\, contestants are given a map and a list of waypoints to be visited. Contestants receive penalty points for each 0.10 mile traversed during the rally. Thus\, the goal is to visit all the required sites (waypoints) in the allotted time while traversing the shortest distance possible. These waypoints may be visited in any order of your choosing after leaving the start control and before you arrive at the finish control. Unlimited use of additional maps\, GPS\, Waze\, etc.\, is permitted.  \n\n\n\nThe available roads are all public roads in and bordering Indiana County\, PA. Typical fall foliage and scenery should be superb as you travel on many roads most of you will have never seen before. Each team (minimum of two people) will use their maps and waypoint list to plot a course and may drive at whatever legal speeds are comfortable for them. Six hours are allotted to complete the rally\, but it should take less time. Awards for best overall finishing position(s) and best finishing position of any team with no prior experience with the shortest distance rally. \n\n\n\nIf you prefer a shorter version\, please consider our As The Crow Flies on the same day. Register for Ghost Tracks at Motorsportreg today and try this rally style. \n\n\n\nEntrants can approach the waypoint from any direction and be assured that the transponder provided by the Rally Committee will confirm their arrival at the waypoint. Mileage will be zeroed at the Start Control and frozen at the Finish Control\, having accumulated all of the mileage the transponder has traversed. This total mileage will be the final score after adding a penalty of fifteen miles for each waypoint not attained if applicable. The shortest distance wins.  \n\n\n\nThis will be the first of its kind and requires no equipment\, not even a cell phone. The rally is intended to be a model for other Regions to host a rally that requires minimal effort on the part of a Rally Committee. SUMMARY:CA: Cal Club Eureka Divisional Course Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Eureka Road Rally is an SCCA Divisional Course Rally written by Jeanne English. It is a companion rally to ITN’s Thunder Road\, a Monte Carlo-style SCCA National Tour Rally written by Joe Akerman on Saturday\, October 15. Both are headquartered at the Hampton Inn in Arvin (Tejon Ranch)\, CA.  Registration for Eureka opens at 8:00A; route instructions are handed out at 8:30A plus your car number in minutes. Official start time is 9:00A plus your car number\, in minutes\, but once you receive your route instructions\, you are free to leave. \n\n\n\nFrom the start\, Eureka will head east to Stallion Springs (west of Tehachapi). Besides some fun roads\, the rally will visit the Tehachapi Loop and go through a covered bridge! The rally will be lightly trapped\, with Jeanne expecting most cars to do most legs correctly. You can run it using either the SCCA RRRs or SMSCC’s General Instructions\, there will be an addendum to help make that happen. \n\n\n\nThe rally will use the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing to the second.   The maximum penalty for Eureka is 1 minute (60 seconds) per leg. Before you arrive at the start\, please download the Richta GPS Competitor app to your phone; it’s a free download for Android and Apple devices. There is no need for additional timing equipment; your Official Time shows in the app! \n\n\n\nThe entry fee for Eureka is $50 for SCCA members and $60 for non-SCCA members. Plus\, register by October 12 for a $10 discount!   \n\n\n\nThis is an SCCA Divisional Course Rally sponsored by Santa Monica Sports Car Club and Cal Club SCCA. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams in Classes E (Equipped)\, L (Limited equipment)\,  S (Stock)\, G (GPS-driven rally computers)\, and N (Novice – 3 or fewer previous rallies).

SUMMARY:PA: Catch 22 - Puzzles and Conundrums
DESCRIPTION:Update October 20th — Fifty-six teams and two buses puzzled their way through some of Adams County most beautiful roads on Saturday\, October 15. A great time was had by all as we drove past 19 preserved properties over 48 miles\, and competed and learned at three fun-filled stops. The Land Conservancy of Adams County has already set Saturday\, October 21st\, 2023 for their 25th Anniversary edition next year.  \n\n\n\n√. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach year the Land Conservancy of Adams County organizes a Road Rally over lesser-traveled routes in the region. This year\, the 24th Annual Land Conservancy Fall Classic Road Rally\, features a meandering drive through rural Adams County\, highlighting vistas and scenic roads that showcase our beautiful countryside.  \n\n\n\nOn October 15\, Road Rally teams will be delighted and confused as they meander through Adams County on roads less traveled. Teams will be challenged with paradoxical situations with no apparent way out. It’s a logical conundrum where circumstances feed each other and bring you back to square 1. \n\n\n\nWhat came first the chicken or the egg? \n\n\n\n Catch 22 – Puzzles and Conundrums is a fundraiser for LCAC that often leaves participants amazed and with a newfound appreciation for the landscape around us.
