SUMMARY:OH: Milk Run Rally
DESCRIPTION:Neohio Region\, SCCA invites you to enter the 2022 Ohio Milk Run Rally. The 160±mile route will wind through the hills of Ohio’s Tuscarawas\, Coshocton and surrounding counties. The Milk Run name is a legacy from a motorcycle enduro that ran in the 1970’s. Competitors can expect a straightforward\, gimmick-free Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) road rally with emphasis on precise timing at well placed controls. The rally will count toward both the SCCA Great Lakes Division Rally Championship\, and the SCCA National Touring Rally Championship as a Divisional Rally. \n\n\n\nNote: All teams must enter online at Motorsportreg\, there will be no walk-in entries accepted on the day of the rally. Early entry cut-off is July 24th\, 23:59 and Registration closes at 6P on Wednesday\, July 27th and General Instructions\, Richta GPS Competitor Milk Run Rally password and Zoom meeting access info. There will be an  online Competitor Briefing and Novice Q&A at 8PM. \n\n\n\nOn-site Registration at 1030-11:15A on Saturday\, July 30th. First Car starts the rally at 1131A and will finish at approximately 530P. \n\n\n\nCompetition Classes: \n\n\n\nE – Equipment unrestricted. \n\n\n\nL – Odometer unrestricted\, and calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer. \n\n\n\nG – GPS–derived odometer only\, and any calculating device (including timekeeping ‘apps’ integrated with the odometer). \n\n\n\nS – Unmodified stock odometer only. Calculating device is restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer and clock. \n\n\n\nNovice – Class S entry in which neither team member has previously entered more than 5 TSD rallies. \n\n\n\nEntry Fees: \n\n\n\nSCCA Members (Driver and/or Navigator\, i.e.\, at least one full SCCA member on the team): $45.00/car before the early entry cutoff\, $55.00 after that. \n\n\n\nOthers: Add $10.00 to the above to purchase the mandated SCCA Weekend/Trial memberships for both team members. \n\n\n\nThis rally will be timed with the Richta GPS Competitor automated checkpoint system. Each team must carry a ‘smart’ phone or tablet (Android or iOS) running the current version of the Richta GPS Competitor ‘app.’

SUMMARY:WI: Milwaukee Region 75th Anniversary Festival of Speed Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow car enthusiasts on the eve of SCCA’s Milwaukee Region 75th Anniversary Festival of Speed Weekend for this 4 hour\, 80 mile time-speed-distance road rally. You and a partner (Driver and Navigator) will be issued a set of Route Instructions that will take you on a scenic journey through the marvelous country roads in the southern Kettle Moraine Forest area of Wisconsin. This is a ‘Tour’ type rally and there are no traps or tricks – just drive\, enjoy the great roads and marvelous scenery and try to arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the right time. Checkpoints will be set up along the way to monitor how well you are following the assigned average speeds. Awards will be presented to the teams who do the best job of arriving at the checkpoints at the proper times. This is a rally designed especially for people with little or no rally experience. \n\n\n\nWe have included a tour class this year for folks who don’t wish to compete in the rally\, but still wish to come out and experience the great roads and scenery of the Kettle Moraine region with others. There will be a tour director who will guide cars through the course. To enter with a reduced fee\, simply select TOUR in class and click the box for one tour entry. \n\n\n\nArrive at 11A for registration matters\, the First Car departs at 1201P and Tour Cars depart at 1P; the first car is due to finish about 5P. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $45.00/car\,  a minimum of 2 people per car is required\, but you may have up to 4 people per car. Tour Cost $25/car\, with no limit on people per car. There is a $5 discount for SCCA members and for members of the Hagerty Driver’s Club \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event. DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180 mile time-speed-distance National Tour RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads north of Madison\, Wisconsin.\n\n\n\nThis rally will use the Richta GPS Checkpoint app. Contestants will download the app to their smartphone in advance of the rally. During the rally this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!!  No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did.\n\n\n\nA bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide you with many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations. Expect at least 100 checkpoints in this 180-mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone in order to run this event. SUMMARY:IN: A May Day Rally
DESCRIPTION:Spend Sunday afternoon\, May 15th\, with the Southern Indiana Region\, navigating the Evansville\, Indiana\, road system. The A Mayday Road Rally will be the 3rd Rally in SIR’s Summer Series. \n\n\n\nRegistered rally entrants will begin assembling at 12:00 PM in the Penn Station Subs\, in the strip mall between Walgreens and the Old National Bank at Green River and Lynch in Evansville. \n\n\n\nRoad rally ‘Novice’ instruction will begin at about 12:15 PM and run approximately 30 minutes. \n\n\n\nAt 12:45 PM\, we’ll begin our Drivers meeting in the restaurant. \n\n\n\nAt 1:15 PM\, we’ll head to the First Federal’s parking lot at 4920 Davis Lant to line up for the rally. The odometer check will begin at the First Federal’s lot exit. \n\n\n\nPre-event registration is required. The Badger Burrow Road Rallye is a ‘Tour’ type rally\, and there are no traps or tricks – drive\, enjoy the great roads and marvelous scenery and try to arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the right time.  \n\n\n\nCheckpoints will be set up along the way to monitor how well you are following the assigned average speeds. Awards will be presented to the teams who do the best job of arriving at the checkpoints. The Badger Burrow is designed especially for people with little or no rally experience. We have added a TREK class for those who wish to experience the event without competing. For the TREK\, cars will travel in convoy\, led by an experienced tour leader. \n\n\n\nPre-registration\, for this SCCA Milwaukee Region rally is required for this event. General Instructions\, that explain more details about how the rally works\, will be emailed to all registered contestants two weeks before the event. \n\n\n\nSchedule:  \n\n\n\n• Check-in opens: 9:00 AM         \n\n\n\n• First Car Off: 11:01 AM \n\n\n\n• First Car Finished: Approx 4:15 PM \n\n\n\nThe ending location for awards and dining will be The Shed\, 123 N Lexington St\, Spring Green\, WI. \n\n\n\nCost: Rally entry is $40.00/car\, a minimum of 2 people per car is required\, but you may have up to 4 people per car. DESCRIPTION:This SCCA Land o’ Lakes Region rally runs mostly in Pierce County Wi. DESCRIPTION:Spend Sunday afternoon\, April 24th\, with the Southern Indiana Region\, navigating the Evansville\, Indiana\, road system. \n\n\n\nRegistered rally entrants will begin assembling at 12:00 PM in the Penn Station Subs\, in the strip mall between Walgreen’s and the Old National Bank at Green River and Lynch in Evansville. \n\n\n\nRoad rally ‘Novice’ instruction will begin at about 12:15 PM and run approximately 30 minutes. \n\n\n\nAt 12:45 PM\, we’ll begin our Drivers meeting in the restaurant. \n\n\n\nAt 1:15 PM\, we’ll head to the First Federal’s parking lot at 4920 Davis Lant to line up for the rally. The odometer check will begin at the First Federal’s lot exit. \n\n\n\nPre-event registration is required. And Twilight Tour\, coming up on Saturday\, April 16 is just the rally to do that. Traversing ~150 miles of tasty back roads in Washtenaw and surrounding counties\, Twilight Tour is a straightforward time-speed-distance rally with no tricks or traps. Twilight Tour has been missed the past couple of seasons because of the pandemic\, and the SCCA Detroit Region is glad to have its return. It will be entertaining for the novice and experienced teams alike\, and Rallymaster Ken Wiedbusch always works hard to make sure his route instructions are clear and correct. \n\n\n\nEntry fees (per car): $45 for SCCA membersNon-members need to apply for a weekend membership. SUMMARY:NH: NER Seacoast Scramble Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Seacoast Scramble Road Rally is a 150 +/- mile TSD Road Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA New England Region\, that uses a combination of Written Route Instructions\, Tulip Diagrams\, and basic navigation skills. The route will begin in Farmington\, NH\, head into Maine\, and back to New Hampshire. The Seacoast Scramble uses a mixture of paved and unpaved roadways. \n\n\n\nThe Rally will start with a traditional check-in with Registration\, followed by a brief Drivers’ meeting. All Checkpoints\, Timing & Scoring will utilize the Checkpoint – Richta GPS App along the brisk rally route with short stops and a mid-rally fuel/lunch break. DESCRIPTION:The Milwaukee Region of the Sports Car Club of America invites you to join us for the Spring Scamper car rally on Sunday\, April 3\, 2022\, in Madison\, Wisconsin. This 120-mile\, 5-hour Tour-type rally (no traps) will take you and your rally partner (driver and navigator) on a scenic adventure through the rural countryside roads south of Madison. You’ll have lunch in New Glarus (home to Spotted Cow) and then an afternoon break in Monroe\, WI. The rally course features new roads that haven’t been used on previous rallies.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll be using the Checkpoint – Richta GPS app for timing and scoring. This app will run on your smartphone (it’s required that you bring one) and will announce your score immediately at each checkpoint. You can use this instant feedback to learn how to improve your scores as the rally progresses. \n\n\n\nThis year’s Spring Scamper will be a charity event for the Dane County Humane Society. Your entry fee will help this wonderful organization continue to find ‘furever’ homes for hundreds of pets every year. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a fun and exciting car road rally celebrating the life of Ron Dunlop\, a great guy and a tremendous rally organizer and competitor\, on Saturday\, March 19\, 2022. The Ron Dunlop Memorial Rally\, sponsored by the Into the Night Rally Team\, is sanctioned as an SCCA Divisional Tour Rally and will explore the amazing Wine Country backroads around Santa Barbara and Santa Maria. \n\n\n\nRallymaster Paul McGaffey’s Route Instructions will use a simple Monte Carlo format\, meaning you get turn-by-turn directions\, AND you will get your target time at each Checkpoint. All Timed Checkpoints are listed in the Route Instructions\, and all are referenced by prominent signs on the course. The rally is a little over 200 miles long\, and you will have seven hours of driving nirvana with many breaks for gas\, food\, and rest stops. \n\n\n\nThe object of this event is to enjoy driving sweeping\, beautiful\, challenging back roads at legal speeds while following simple directions to pass a series of checkpoints at just the right time.  \n\n\n\nThere is no need for advanced math\, no riddles\, compasses\, maps\, or gimmicks\, just glorious roads to drive with a focus on precision and accuracy. Rallying is a team sport; the Driver and Navigator must work together to get it right. \n\n\n\nThere are no average speeds. Just run at the posted speed limits (rally is timed at least two mph BELOW those limits and has pauses where needed). If you reach a timed Checkpoint early\, you can pull over\, get out of traffic lanes\, and either creep in or wait for your target time to pass by the Checkpoint. \n\n\n\nWe will be using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. This app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone or appropriate tablet. Go to the App Store\, Google Play Store\, or direct to https://richtarally.com/ and download it. There is no need for additional timing equipment; your Official Time shows in the app! \n\n\n\nWe’ve designed it to be EV-friendly. There are five stations and a Tesla Dealership near the Start in Camarillo\, five near the lunch break in Santa Maria\, two fast-charging stations\, and a Tesla Supercharger in the parking lot at the Finish in Goleta.  \n\n\n\nPlease register online here at MotorsportsReg. The registration fee is $60 per car\, with a $15 discount for SCCA members. You may still register in person at the Start. (Sorry\, but we will not be able to accept credit cards at Registration. Please use the MSR website to pay by credit card.) DESCRIPTION:The Cannon River Winter Rally is a Regularity Rally run in the Cannon River Valley. Sanctioned by the SCCA Land O’Lakes Region\, the course traverses the Valleys along the Cannon river taking advantage of the elevation changes and natural twisty roads in the valleys.  \n\n\n\nNo special equipment is needed other than a smart phone with built in GPS. A free app is available from your favorite app store. The app not only provides the timing but also provides a digital roadbook similar to the one used at Dakar in 2021 and 2022. The app also does all calculations for you so that you always know if you are on time.  \n\n\n\nFor those without a smartphone or their own navigation systems we have SmartControl devices to do the timing. We suggest you use the Rabbit Rally app to run this event. It’s a Rally Computer app that does all the work for you to stay on time. \n\n\n\nRabbit Rally Info \n\n\n\nThe rally starts and ends in Cannon River\, MN. at Dan’s Bar and Grill.
