SUMMARY:TX: Tour de Force RoadRally\, Cresson
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the Tour de Force Rally\, a Texas Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Social Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) tour rally over scenic paved backroads of Somervell County and Hood County. The rally starts and ends at Motorsport Ranch (MSR)\, in Cresson\, Texas. All entrants are welcome. No prior rally experience is necessary. \nA precision driving event at fun speeds. This is not a speed or racing contest. Course following is easy with GPS mileages on every turn; there are no tricks or traps on the course. We assign speeds to drive. Your goal is to follow the rally route using written route instructions and arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the correct time.  We will score you on how close to the perfect time you arrive.  Get one point for each second early or late; low score wins. No calculations necessary. \nWe will use the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. This app will monitor your car’s position during the rally and will record the precise time that you pass each checkpoint on the rally.  Once you have passed a checkpoint\, the app will calculate your score for that leg and announce it to you.  Scores are automatically reported to the Rallymaster.  No score sheet to fill out. We will send you information on the app after you pre-register. There are 37 timing checkpoints in about 70 miles of rally route. \nWe plan to conduct a virtual Rally School via Zoom (currently scheduled for March 29th) to help prepare for the rally (for details and to pre-register for the School\, go to https://msreg.com/TFR26RSmsr ) . For those who can’t join the live session\, we will post a YouTube video recording of the session. We encourage you to attend the School. \n\nStarting Place:  Motorsport Ranch (MSR)\nFree time to check out other ongoing SCCA activities – Time Trials on the 1.3-mile circuit and Spring Fling Majors club racing on the 1.7-mile circuit: 8:30 am 12:00 pm\nRegistration/check-in: DriveXotic facility classroom: 10:45 am to 11:45 am on Rally Day\nLunch break (on your own):  11:15 am to 12:30 pm\nEntrant orientation/safety briefing: DriveXotic facility classroom: 12:35 pm\nCars leave from MSR: 1:00 pm plus your car number\nCars leave the timed start in Granbury:  1:30 pm plus your car number\nLength: approx. 72 miles (~2 hours)\nFinish: MSR\, (DriveXotic facility classroom) where we will gather for announcements and awards\nOptional Track Tour Laps on the 3.1-mile track: 5:30 pm\nOptional Dinner Party ($20 per person – payment at pre-registration): 6:30 pm\nRally type: TSD Tour.  A smart phone\, as well as a clipboard and pencil are all you need. SUMMARY:IL: Tulips by Night RoadRally and Social
DESCRIPTION:Tulips by Night 2026 is an evening Monte-Carlo-style Touring RoadRally and social event of about 60 miles\, with the SCCA St. Louis Region. Rallymaster Jim Heine designed the event with the new/occasional rally team in mind. Expect paved rural Madison County\, Ill.\, roads\, easy-to-follow tulip diagrams for route instructions\, and checkpoint locations identified by official mileages and arrival times. Timing will be in minutes and seconds\, with checkpoint arrival times calculated to whole minutes. After the rally\, stick around to enjoy conversation and hospitality at our finish location. \nStart: Troy Park & Ride \nFinish: Vitale’s Hideaway on historic Route 66 (today\, Illinois 4) outside Staunton\, Ill. Vitale’s Hideaway has been a stop at Route 66 and the “Worden Y” since Route 66 was established in the 1920s. SUMMARY:MI: Press On Regardless National Tour\, Gaylord
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the SCCA Detroit Region for two 230-mile brisk time-speed-distance\, National Tour RoadRally(s) in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula with a separate sanction for each day. Many historic\, challenging\, and fun roads from the 1960’s and early 70’s Press On Regardless® aka POR will be used. The Richta GPS Checkpoint app will be used for timing. During the rally\, when each car reaches a checkpoint\, the contestant’s device will signal a checkpoint has been reached. The device will then display your time and score (early or late). Your total score for the rally to that point will also be displayed. The cumulative score from both days will determine the overall winner of the 2026 POR. You can expect around 100 checkpoints each day. \nFirst run in 1949\, POR is the oldest continuously run rally in North America. These straightforward (absolutely no traps) Tour RoadRally(s) will use a mix of unpaved (80%) and paved (20%) roads varying from smooth fast gravel roads to tight and technical single lane roads. While not a car breaker\, vehicles with low ground clearance are not recommended. Liberal use of free zones and pauses help you navigate through any rough areas on the route. \nPre-registration is required and closes on Tuesday September 8 at 9:00 PM EST. \n\n30 car limit for each day.\nFriday Press On Regardless\, September 11\, 2026: SCCA member\, $100 per car.\nSaturday Press On Regardless\, September 12\, 2026: SCCA member\, $110 per car.\nNon-members must purchase a Weekend Membership. The cost is $25 per person.\nFree T-Shirts will be provided to competitors that register before August 12\, 2026. Please provide the shirt size for both entrants.\nNovices welcome and encouraged\nPoints toward Detroit Region\, Great Lakes Division SCCA\, and the SCCA National RR Championship\n\nContestants will be asked to enter in one of the following Classes\, as determined by the distance measurement and calculating devices that will be used: \n\nE – Equipment unrestricted.\nG – GPS-derived odometer integrated with any calculating device such as a rally “app” or rally computer.\nL – Odometer unrestricted (including GPS) and calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer.\nS – Unmodified stock odometer only.  Calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer and clock.\nNovice – Same as Class S where the combined TSD rallies between team members is less than 6.\nV- Vintage class for vehicles 25 years or older will run concurrently with any of the other classes for a separate Trophy. Scoring will use a factor (weighted) based on the class entered to “level” the playing field.\n\nHeadquarters Hotel: \n\nBaymont by Wyndham of Gaylord A block of rooms with 2 queen beds for Friday and Saturday night will be held until August 12\, 2026\, at a special rate of $129/night plus tax. Specify “Press on Regardless” to receive this rate. This rate also applies for Thursday\, September 10.\n\nTentative schedule: \n\nFPOR (Friday). Car #1 starts FPOR at 3:01 PM and Car #1 finishes at ~ 11:30 PM.\nSPOR (Saturday). Car #1 starts SPOR at 1:01 PM and Car #1 finishes at ~ 10:30 PM.\nAwards for both days and overall POR will be presented on Saturday after the finish of SPOR at The Landing Zone (same place as last year).\n\nThe route for each day will start and finish in Gaylord and stay in the Lower Peninsula. \nFPOR will travel east toward the Millersburg area using some new roads to avoid the water holes we encountered last year. \nSPOR will travel southeast toward Mio\, Glennie\, and Luzerne using roads we haven’t used since 2022/2023\, and even some from the 2010’s. \nWant further information on Press On Regardless®?
