SUMMARY:CA: San Diego "It's a Pie Run!" Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA San Diego Region is back with It’s a Pie Run! Road Rally on Saturday\, December 3rd. The first car departs around 9A and should be finishing before Noon. A beginner’s video will be shared online the week before the event. The Driver’s meeting will be held on the morning of the event\, around 830A\, at the Freeport Road Park & Ride.  \n\n\n\nTeams will enjoy the twisty back roads of San Diego Country\, covering ±75 miles on fun-to-drive country roads\, following legal limits\, before finishing up at The Cooler\, Tap & Tasting Room near Julian\, CA. \n\n\n\nThe entry fee is $25 per car; one member must be an SCCA Member\, and SCCA Weekend Memberships are available during Registration for $15. These can be used as a credit toward a full SCCA Membership. \n\n\n\nYou will need paper and a pencil/pen\, a watch or clock with a second hand; a stopwatch and a clipboard will be helpful. The object of a navigational rally is to follow the rally course at the assigned (legal) speeds and arrive at each checkpoint precisely on time\, not early or late. Your score on each leg of the rally is based on how early or late you arrive at each checkpoint. All teams must have a smartphone or tablet with the Richta GPS Competitor app to enter. \n\n\n\nA valid Driver’s License and proof of current liability insurance are required. Your vehicle must meet basic safety standards (e.g.\, lights\, brakes\, windshield wipers\, and the horn must work). Each vehicle participating shall have at least two participants\, a Driver and a Navigator. Passengers are allowed\, but no more than can safely be carried in the car\, and they must sign a Speedwaiver and register for the event. \n\n\n\nResults will be posted online\, and trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in each competition class. SUMMARY:NJ: Fun With Cars Day Ciocca Corvette Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Ciocca Corvette Road Rally (CCRR) is a Time-Speed-Distance(TSD) Road Rally sanctioned by the SCCA South Jersey Region set to run on Saturday\, November 12th. The CCRR will begin at Ciocca Corvette and end at Oyster Creek Inn. Entry for the 2022 CCRR is limited to 30 cars\, so don’t delay registering! \n\n\n\nAll the roads used on the Rally are scenic paved back roads with little traffic that are fun to drive. Each Car will be given a set of route instructions that shows the contestants the roads upon which to travel. These instructions also tell exactly how fast to drive. All speeds are at or below the posted safe speed limits along the route. All cars will accrue a one (1) point penalty for each one (1) second early or late they arrive at each Timing Control. A Rally is not a Race. Driving fast is not the object. The Contestants that control their speed the best will be the winners. Cars are spaced apart in 1-minute intervals. Car 1 begins the CCRR rally at 10:31A. The Rally Committee calculates the perfect entry time at each control by using the assigned Speed over the measured Distance to determine the perfect Time. (Thus\, a TSD rally). \n\n\n\nThe winners of the Road Rally\, like golf\, are the lowest score. Our rally is designed for contestants with little or no rally experience. Trophies will be awarded to cars with the three lowest scores\, the lowest all-female team\, and the car that finishes in last place. \n\n\n\nContestants will need to download the Richta GPS Competitor app before the day of the rally. The App is used to time your progress. The exact time each car reaches all the Timing Controls will be recorded by your cell phone in the rally car using the Richta Competitor app. The app will then verbally announce how far off the official time you arrived\, including if you were early or late. The Richta GPS Competitor app is free to download via the Apple or GooglePlay stores. Details of how to download and use the app will be sent to all contestants via Email after you register for the rally. \n\n\n\nThe Rally finishes at Oyster Creek Inn\, a very popular with residents for its excellent food.  See their menu. DESCRIPTION:Big Lap Rally\, sanctioned by the SCCA New England Region\, will run on Saturday\, November 5th. The rally starts at Mcdonald’s in Epsom\, NH. This auto event will challenge teams of a Driver and a Navigator to follow tulip instructions as they explore approximately 160 miles of central NH backroads. Expert teams will be challenged to stay on course and on time. Novices are welcome\, and they should have no problem following the tulip instructions. Paved and unpaved public roads will be used\, and while all vehicles are welcome\, it may not be suitable for all cars\, especially lowered cars. The event is not a race; all speeds are within posted speed limits. \n\n\n\nThe Richta GPS App will be used for timing and scoring\, so all teams must download the app to their smartphone or tablet. \n\n\n\nOnline registration closes November 3rd\, and we encourage you to register online at Motorsportreg. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked by November 1st.  \n\n\n\nRegistration is open 8A-915A Saturday\, with a 930A meeting for all contestants. The team departs at 10A + their car number in minutes. SUMMARY:OH: Milk Run Rally
DESCRIPTION:Neohio Region\, SCCA invites you to enter the 2022 Ohio Milk Run Rally. The 160±mile route will wind through the hills of Ohio’s Tuscarawas\, Coshocton and surrounding counties. The Milk Run name is a legacy from a motorcycle enduro that ran in the 1970’s. Competitors can expect a straightforward\, gimmick-free Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) road rally with emphasis on precise timing at well placed controls. The rally will count toward both the SCCA Great Lakes Division Rally Championship\, and the SCCA National Touring Rally Championship as a Divisional Rally. \n\n\n\nNote: All teams must enter online at Motorsportreg\, there will be no walk-in entries accepted on the day of the rally. Early entry cut-off is July 24th\, 23:59 and Registration closes at 6P on Wednesday\, July 27th and General Instructions\, Richta GPS Competitor Milk Run Rally password and Zoom meeting access info. There will be an  online Competitor Briefing and Novice Q&A at 8PM. \n\n\n\nOn-site Registration at 1030-11:15A on Saturday\, July 30th. First Car starts the rally at 1131A and will finish at approximately 530P. \n\n\n\nCompetition Classes: \n\n\n\nE – Equipment unrestricted. \n\n\n\nL – Odometer unrestricted\, and calculating device restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer. \n\n\n\nG – GPS–derived odometer only\, and any calculating device (including timekeeping ‘apps’ integrated with the odometer). \n\n\n\nS – Unmodified stock odometer only. Calculating device is restricted only in that it may not be integrated with the odometer and clock. \n\n\n\nNovice – Class S entry in which neither team member has previously entered more than 5 TSD rallies. \n\n\n\nEntry Fees: \n\n\n\nSCCA Members (Driver and/or Navigator\, i.e.\, at least one full SCCA member on the team): $45.00/car before the early entry cutoff\, $55.00 after that. \n\n\n\nOthers: Add $10.00 to the above to purchase the mandated SCCA Weekend/Trial memberships for both team members. \n\n\n\nThis rally will be timed with the Richta GPS Competitor automated checkpoint system. Each team must carry a ‘smart’ phone or tablet (Android or iOS) running the current version of the Richta GPS Competitor ‘app.’

SUMMARY:WI: Milwaukee Region 75th Anniversary Festival of Speed Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow car enthusiasts on the eve of SCCA’s Milwaukee Region 75th Anniversary Festival of Speed Weekend for this 4 hour\, 80 mile time-speed-distance road rally. You and a partner (Driver and Navigator) will be issued a set of Route Instructions that will take you on a scenic journey through the marvelous country roads in the southern Kettle Moraine Forest area of Wisconsin. This is a ‘Tour’ type rally and there are no traps or tricks – just drive\, enjoy the great roads and marvelous scenery and try to arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the right time. Checkpoints will be set up along the way to monitor how well you are following the assigned average speeds. Awards will be presented to the teams who do the best job of arriving at the checkpoints at the proper times. This is a rally designed especially for people with little or no rally experience. \n\n\n\nWe have included a tour class this year for folks who don’t wish to compete in the rally\, but still wish to come out and experience the great roads and scenery of the Kettle Moraine region with others. There will be a tour director who will guide cars through the course. To enter with a reduced fee\, simply select TOUR in class and click the box for one tour entry. \n\n\n\nArrive at 11A for registration matters\, the First Car departs at 1201P and Tour Cars depart at 1P; the first car is due to finish about 5P. \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $45.00/car\,  a minimum of 2 people per car is required\, but you may have up to 4 people per car. Tour Cost $25/car\, with no limit on people per car. There is a $5 discount for SCCA members and for members of the Hagerty Driver’s Club \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event. We will be using the Richta GPS Checkpoint app for automatic scoring and checkpoints. SUMMARY:WI: Roads Scamper National Tour Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180 mile time-speed-distance National Tour RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads north of Madison\, Wisconsin.\n\n\n\nThis rally will use the Richta GPS Checkpoint app. Contestants will download the app to their smartphone in advance of the rally. During the rally this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!!  No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did.\n\n\n\nA bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide you with many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations. Expect at least 100 checkpoints in this 180-mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone in order to run this event. If you’re planning to run another rally app during the event\, you’ll need to do that on a separate device. The Richta GPS checkpoint app needs to be the only app running on your phone during the rally.\n\n\n\nThis is a tour type rally\, so there are no tricks or traps.\n\n\n\nThere is a 25 car limit on this rally and we expect it will sell out.\n\n\n\nStarting location:  Country Inn and Suites \n\n\n\nSchedule: Check-in – 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM Sunday\, June 5\, 2022 \n\n\n\nFirst Car Off – 8:31 AM  First Car Finished – Approx 3:45 pm  \n\n\n\nCost:  $85/car for SCCA members\,  $95/car if neither contestant is an SCCA member\, 2 people per car required. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for this event\, and head to Motorsportreg.com for more info.
