DESCRIPTION:We have heard from Piotr Roszczenko requesting to ‘Save the Date’ for the 75th Running of the Press on Regardless Rally. Bruce Fisher will be Rallymaster\, and as of November 17\, 2022\, it is planned to be a Double National Tour Rally.  \n\n\n\nThe event will return to the Hampton Inn\, Gaylord\, MI\, the lodging used for the 2020 POR. A block of rooms has been set aside at $129 per night plus taxes. Ten rooms are reserved\, yet the hotel will add more when those are booked; they will release the rooms on 8/24/2023.  \n\n\n\nMore details to follow.

SUMMARY:OR: Nor'wester Rally 2023 - Oregon Backroads Tour
DESCRIPTION:Nor’wester is a Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rally conducted since 1967\, by the Rainier Auto Sports Club. Entrants receive instructions with specific\, clear directions at speeds at or below legal limits\, with specific times to start each section at one-minute intervals. Nor’wester is a “closed control” format where cars do not stop at checkpoints. \n\n\n\nIt’s a pure touring rally with no tricks or traps and an equal penalty for passing a checkpoint (which may be hidden) early or late. Speeding is a sure way to lose as the goal is to pass at the correct second\, and the car with the least number of points wins. SUMMARY:KS: Kansas Rib Run Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Kansas Rib Run Rally\, sanctioned by the Kansas City Chapter of the Vintage Triumph Registry will run on Saturday\, September 16th. Rallymasters (or should that be Grillmasters) Rich Bireta and Albert Weaver have laid out the route\, which will be 100-miles in length and traverse the counties of Leavenworth\, Douglas\, Shawnee\, and Jefferson Counties. The Event Chair is Jeff Givens. \n\n\n\nThe event is only open to classic British sports car entries (think MG\, Triumph\, Jaguar\, Austin Healy). A sweep vehicle and Lucas parts depot will follow the field through the route.  \n\n\n\nWe will start from The Fuel House in Bonner Springs\, with Registration at 8:00 AM and the first car off on the route at 9:01 AM. SUMMARY:WA: Raindrop Rally 2023 – Trees to Seas
DESCRIPTION:Raindrop 2023 Trees to Seas will start in Monroe and tour for 120 miles over 5-1/2 hours. Roads will be paved and suitable for any automobile.  \n\n\n\nRaindrop is a leisurely paced Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rally with fine driving roads\, minimum traffic\, and wonderful scenery. The rally is geared toward the novice entrant with no traps\, and with mileages for every instruction\, but precise timing will still be required to score well. Raindrop is a “closed control” (passage control) format where cars do not stop at checkpoints. DESCRIPTION:The South Jersey Region of the Sports Car Club of America cordially invites you to join our fellow car enthusiasts for our Ciocca Corvette Fall Road Rally. The rally starts at Ciocca Corvette in Atlantic City NJ on October 28\, 2023 with check in time of 9:00 am. The rally will be about a 4-hour 100-mile drive on all paved back roads through sparsely populated southern NJ\, finishing at the Finish Line Pub at New Jersey Motorsports Park. You and your teammate\, as Driver and Navigator\, will follow written route instructions at assigned average speeds. Average speeds are always at or below the speed limit for the road. You will have your time of arrival at each checkpoint recorded. The goal is to arrive at each checkpoint precisely on time. Penalty points are given equally for arriving to early (to fast) or to late (to slow). Awards will be presented in eligible classes at the finish about 3pm. \n\n\n\nNo prior rally experience is necessary. This rally is designed for people who are new to the sport of road rallying. There are no tricky instructions. There is a 50 car/small truck limit to the number of entries. \n\n\n\nThe rally will use a smart phone app for timing the contestants’ arrival at the checkpoints. The app uses GPS information from your phone to record your arrival time and will\, within a tenth of a seconds\, tell you how early or late you arrived. The app will also display your total score as you progress through the checkpoints. All contestants must have a cell phone with them for the rally. Cell phone signal strength is not an issue since you will download all the data needed to your phone prior to the rally. The app is free to download. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search Richta. Download the Richta competitor app. \n\n\n\nYou only need the following things: \n\n\n\nAny 4 wheeled street legal and insured car or small truck. \n\n\n\nA team of two people consisting of a Driver and Navigator. \n\n\n\nDriver must possess a current Driver’s license.  \n\n\n\nPay the entry fee of $30 per car ($15.00 per person). All cars with an SCCA member on the team will only pay $30 per car to enter. Cars with no SCCA members must pay an additional $15 for an SCCA Weekend Membership for the weekend and be covered by our club insurance. \n\n\n\nThe rally starts at Ciocca Corvette in Atlantic City\, NJ. Day of event check in begins at 9:00 am\, Contestants meeting at 10 am\, Rally begins at 10:30 am. \n\n\n\nThe rally finishes at the Finish Line Pub (NJMP\, 8000 Dividing Creek Rd\, Millville\, NJ 08332). First car should finish about 2:00pm. Trophy presentation will be about 3:00. \n\n\n\nSelect a Class as described below: Newbies should enter Stock \n\n\n\nStock: No limit on road rally calculating equipment but your mileage must be measured by the vehicle’s stock odometer located in its’ stock position. \n\n\n\nOpen: No limit on your road rally equipment\, trophy eligible at 5 cars entering this class. \n\n\n\nFor more information contact Rallymaster Jim Wakemen. \n\n\n\nEvent requirements\n\n\n\nThe RoadRally will be conducted in full compliance with the Abridged Road Rally Rules (RRRs) as supplemented by the event’s General Instructions (GIs). \n\n\n\nEach rally team will be required to bring a smartphone that is equipped with the Richta Autonomous GPS Checkpoint App. This app will monitor your car’s position during the rally and will record the precise time at which you arrive at each Timing Control on the rally. Once you have arrived at a Timing Control\, the app will calculate your score for that leg and display it to you. \n\n\n\nEach rally team will be required to bring a completed emergency contact\, vehicle inspection\, and insurance form to registration when you perform on-site registration.

DESCRIPTION:It is time for the First Friday Niter Road Rally of 2024\, sanctioned by The SCCA\, Cal Club Region\, and the Santa Monica Sports Car Club\, and it starts off with Rallymaster Joanna Weissen\, who is taking us on her annual tour of Christmas lights. We are traveling primarily in Burbank this year with some Glendale thrown in. There are lots of lights\, including a couple of displays with synchronized music (if they are still up – cross your fingers). The rally ends at the IHOP at 913 N San Fernando Blvd\, Burbank\, CA 91504\, 818-842-8622. \n\n\n\nThis rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring\, with timing in seconds. SUMMARY:ON: Winter's Night in the North
DESCRIPTION:Fill’er up\, buckle up\, and turn the heat up! You’ve been asking and Winter’s Night in the North is on! This car rally is sanctioned by the Thunder Bay Autosport Club\, with Rallymaster Brad Folino. The rally will gather at the rally sponsor\, Half-Way Motors in Thunder Bay. \n\n\n\nThe course will take you on a fun and (mostly) friendly adventure around the Thunder Bay Area\, so book the evening of February 10th to come and have a fun-filled evening with your team of a Driver and Navigator and\, of course\, your vehicle of choice. Roads are asphalt and gravel\, bare and snow covered\, over the route of approximately two-and-a-half hours. \n\n\n\nCost: $30/car (Driver/Navigator). Passengers $10 each. The rally will gather in the Half-Way NISSAN showroom at 5pm. \n\n\n\nNavigators meeting at 5:30pm\, with departure at ±6PM to the starting location and the first car out at 630P. SUMMARY:• IN: Cabin Fever Vaccine Drive
DESCRIPTION:The Cabin Fever Vaccine Drive is a simple Time/Speed/Distance drive for lunch to The Overlook in Leavenworth\, Indiana. It’s a vaccine without pills or needles and has now been approved by the RRSS (which is not the FDA). \n\n\n\nThe route is all nicely paved and is nearly overloaded with checkpoints.  In a break from our norm\, the event will be scored in six sections with cumulative scoring within each section.  (If you don’t understand\, don’t fret.  It won’t be a problem.) \n\n\n\nThink of the vaccine as a simple drive with lots of feedback on your ability to maintain a constant speed. The checkpoints come so often that there’s little time for much correcting between some of the checkpoints. There are few speed changes. Free zones are through congested areas\, so there is no CAST issue stress there. With the number of checkpoints\, high checkpoint scores (without WORKING to get them) should be rare. Total scores may be another thing because there are SO MANY checkpoints\, and the cumulative scoring ripple. \n\n\n\nThis 80-mile route even has two bio break opportunities. \n\n\n\nThe starting point is the McDonald’s on Bartlett Ave. in Evansville.Check-in at 9:00 A.M.
