SUMMARY:VT: New England Region Winter Challenge RoadRally\, Barre
DESCRIPTION:The Winter Challenge Rally\, by Rallymaster John Buffum\, will take place February 28th and end in the early morning hours of March 1st. The rally will generally follow the NER (New England Region) Road Rally Regulations (RRR)\, which can be viewed at (NER.ORG). We have condensed the RRR’s and these ‘Generals’ should be all you need to follow the correct course. Interested teams can find more information at winterchaallengerally.com. \nRally Philosophy: \nWINTER CHALLENGE RALLY (WC) is not a ‘trap rally; it has a couple of thinking situations in Section 1) – don’t overthink every NRI. There will be 15-20 Regularity Sections (RS) throughout the day (night).  The controls at the start of Regularity Sections are called CZT’s (Car Zero Time); you should self-start (at 1 minute intervals) at your start time. No penalties will accrue at these controls. Within the RS’s\, starting at the CZT\, there will be timed portions (Legs). \nYou will be penalized for every SECOND you arrive early or late at timing control points in these Legs. There may be multiple controls in each timed portion (leg). After the last timing CP or the notation “End Regularity timing” (whichever comes first)\, there are no controls and competitors can travel at their own pace. Driving normally\, you should get to the start of the next RS 2 minutes before your RESTART time.  The Route Instructions will show the RESTART time for Car 0. Your Richta phone will show your ideal RESTART time.

DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Southern Indiana Region kicks off their rally season on Sunday\, March 8th\, with More Scrambled Legs. The event will start from Hardee’s in Evansville\, and Rallymaster Bob Sonntag encourages you to arrive a little early if this is your first rally or first rally in a long time.; there will be some brief tutoring to make your day more fun!\n\nHere’s the link to information and registration in MSR:  https://msreg.com/2026-RALLY-1. Preregistration is required; there is no onsite registration. Drivers register first and then the Navigator. Please\, do not bring someone who is not registered. Guests should use the SpeedWaiver process during registration.\n\nThe route is all paved. Nearly all of it nicely paved. There’s spot about 40 feet long of “tough winter” and it’s not a problem.\n\nThose with good memories may remember last year’s Scrambled Legs and this second helping is a different take on much of that route.  Oh sure\, there’s a visit to Buente Road\, a touch of Trapp Road\, a little counting of Opps at Ts\, some loops\, and one other little thing to see who will drop shell into their omelet.\n\nAdjustments have been made for the 90s that aren’t “CASTable.”\n\nWith breaks & no mistakes\, the route runs about 97 miles and will take about 3.25 hours to get to Los Bravos on Evansville’s west side.\n\nJoin us and see if\, as a friend put it\, if this rally is all it’s cracked up to be.\n\n\n\n\n

The Monte Carlo format will include your target time (CZT) at all restarts and checkpoints\, and creeping/stopping will be allowed. Thunder Road will finish about 20 minutes from the Start. \nSTAGECOACH Regional Tour Rally\, Sunday\, May 24\, 2026\, is a 6-hour Tour Rally on Sunday\, May 24\, 2026. Rallymaster Larry Scholnick has written a simple straightforward course through some of the local open country\, canyons and backroads. All checkpoints will be identified in the Route Instructions. Stagecoach will finish with about 25 minutes of the Start. \nHIGHWAY ROBBERY Regional Course Rally\, Monday\, May 25\, 2026\, is an SCCA Regional Course Rally. DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Southern Indiana Region hosts the 4th Championship Event in their 7-event Series\, on Sunday\, August 2nd\, with Tucker’s Trek Road Rally\, with Team Lehrschall as Rallymasters. \nThe starting point is Penn Station Subs\, with check-in at 12:30 PM\, followed by an Entrant meeting at 1:00P-ish. The first care will depart shortly after. Use the link below to register\, there is no on-site registration. You will find more details about the event and you may use the SpeedWaiver process during registration\, too! \nThis rally will use the Richta GPS Competitor app\, so you will need it installed on a smart device (phone or tablet) before you get to the rally. \nEntry Fees:\nSCCA Student Member Driver: $30\, SCCA Member Driver: $40 and SCCA Member Navigator: Free \n\nSCCA members should have an Annual Waiver or expect to be charged an additional $5.\n\nGuest Student Driver: $50\, Guest Driver: $60\, and Guest Navigator: Free\, with the Weekend Membership fee paid by the Region. \nEntrants are not charged until after the rally. SUMMARY:FL: Around Again Road Rally\, Macclenny
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce our latest road rally for the 2026 Buccaneer Region SCCA Road Rally Championship! So far in our series\, the rally route instructions have contained street names\, increment mileage\, and CASTs for every instruction and have been classified as a Tour-style rally. This time we’re changing it up and introducing participants to the concepts of Main Road (a.k.a. Principal Road) style instructions with a Course-style TSD (Time-Speed-Distance). Instead of having street names and speeds for every turn\, you’ll have instructions that will read “Left at 4th opportunity.” For more information on main road rallies and what they entail\, review Article 22 and Article 23 of the 2026 SCCA NRRRs: https://www.scca.com/downloads/78459-2026-scca-roadrally-rulebook/download. \nEach car will drive on paved public roads using a set of predefined route instructions through various checkpoints using the Richta GPS Checkpoints Road Rally mobile application. Participants will be scored based on their arrival time at each of the defined checkpoints. We will start at Burger King\, where cars will depart 1 minute apart. The finish will be Sixth Street Steakhouse\, also in Macclenny\, where scoring\, awards\, and lunch will be available (you are responsible for purchasing your own food\, we encourage everyone to eat and support the location). \nAny car is allowed\, such that it meets all Florida state laws and is insured to meet the state’s minimum requirements. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance will be required at on-site registration. Each car is allowed as many people as there are seatbelts in the vehicle\, but each car is required to have at least 2 people\, a driver and a navigator. Drivers without a navigator will not be allowed to participate. There will be a starting location\, five (5) unmanned checkpoints\, followed by a sixth checkpoint at the finishing location. Team numbers will be assigned but the starting order will be determined at random. \nRegistration Fee: $25 for SCCA members\, $50 for non-SCCA members (includes required Weekend Membership). Classes will be Stock\, Limited\, and SOP. DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Buccaneer Region is excited to announce our latest road rally event for the greater Jacksonville area\, a Poker Run! Each car will drive on paved public roads using a set of predefined route instructions through the greater Jacksonville area\, stopping at specific locations to collect a playing card. Winners are determined based on highest poker hand (1st-3rd). This is not a time-speed-distance rally. \nWe will start at the Bartram Dunkin Donuts where cars will depart 1 minute apart on Sunday\, October 24\, with Registration check-in at 9:15 AM. Registration is $25 for SCCA Members\, $50 for non-SCCA members (the required Weekend Membership covers this). The finish will be a sit down restaurant (TBD)\, where scoring\, awards\, and lunch will be available (you are responsible for purchasing your own food\, we encourage everyone to eat and support the location). \nNew to road rally or unsure what this is all about? Check out this (somewhat lengthy but humorous) video explanation. \nAny car is allowed\, such that it meets all Florida state laws and is insured to meet the state’s minimum requirements. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance will be required at on-site registration.
