SUMMARY:Lone Star Region Christmas Tree Social Road Rally
DESCRIPTION:To initiate the 2021 Christmas season and to assist people to get out of the house after this past year\, the Lone Star Region of SCCA is sponsoring a Christmas Tree Social Road Rally to the Seiler Christmas Tree Farm south of Seguin. This rally will start from Bluebonnet Jeep on Interstate 35 East in New Braunfels and will wind through south Central Texas to the Tree Farm.  \n\n\n\nAlong the way\, we will travel on state\, rural\, and country roads. These roads are paved but many do not have center stripes. This is a non-speed event but you will be given historical notes along the route and you will be asked to answer questions about the route at various points. At the Seiler Christmas Tree Farm\, you may buy the Christmas tree of your choice or just enjoy the scenery. Trees are four to nine feet in height and sell for $6.00 per foot. The Rally will then leave the tree farm and continue to Kirby’s Korner in Sequin to enjoy their famous burgers and malts and to discuss cars and the rally. \n\n\n\nThis is a non-speed social Road Rally whose route will be along paved roads although some have not been paved very recently. Registration between 1:00 and 2:00 PM will be at Bluebonnet Jeep so come early and look over their fine vehicles. After a safety briefing at 1:45\, cars will be released at intervals to proceed on their scenic journey. It should take between 90 minutes and two hours for this Road Rally as you learn about the history of Central Texas. Questions will be asked along the way but awards will not be based on questions or on a car’s finish position.  \n\n\n\nThis Road Rally is meant to be a fun social outing and a learning event. Children are welcome but insurance requires that they have a waiver signed by both parents. Minors may be either navigators or drivers.  \n\n\n\nThe Social Road Rally fee for this event is $25.00 (the same for both SCCA members and non-SCCA members).  \n\n\n\nIf you would like additional information\, contact the Rally Organizer\, Ken McElroy\, at aggsip67@yahoo.com or at 512-695-9410.

SUMMARY:NJ: 31st Annual Toys for Tots Teddy Bear RoadRally
DESCRIPTION:For the past 30 years\, the wonderful folks at Subaru have sponsored the NNJR-SCCA & Motorsport Club of North Jersey’s Teddy Bear Charity Road Rallye.  \n\n\n\nEntry in the rally is open to the general public\, and it requires only a car (or SUV/light truck) with a working odometer and a pen to compete! The entry fee per car is a brand new Teddy Bear worth at least $35.00 retail\, donated to the USMC Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Let’s fill up some Subaru’s with wonderful Toys for the Tots! \n\n\n\nRegistration opens at 10:30 AM\, and the first car departs at Noon. \n\n\n\nThere will be many classes\, with Awards for 1st and 2nd in each of 3 Classes: Expert\, Intermediate\, & Novice\, and additional recognition for these Teams: Best First Time\, Best Subaru\, Best SCCA\, Best PCA\, Best BMW\, Best RVSCC\, Best Family\, Best Husband & Wife/Partner\, and Dead Last But Finished.
