WI: Return of the Yeti Road Rally

The Return of Yeti Road Rally is back for 2019! Save the date!

Come and run the best snow-covered backroads Wisconsin has to offer. Proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, The ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter, and the Beaver Dam High School Achievement Scholarship!

Cheese Wheel, Inc. is excited to announce the 5th running of our Winter Time-Speed-Distance Event, the Cheese Freeze Competition Rally. As with all of our events this is a fundraiser for our benefactors. Come out to support great causes and meet great people the automotive community!!

REGISTRATION:
***$$60 per team
***Teams consist of a Driver and Navigator
***$20 for each additional passenger
Registration fee covers your rally numbers, event awards, and a meal/celebration at the end of rally.

RALLY HEADQUARTERS: Sprecher’s Restaurant and Pub

EVENT ITINERARY:
12:30PM: Lunch/Network/Check-in
1:15PM: Driver’s Meeting
1:40PM: Car Staging
2:00PM: First Car Launches (one every minute)
8:00PM: Estimated Rally Conclusion (last car arrival)
8:30PM: Awards (if weather cooperates)

ROUTE: 150 Miles of Time-Speed-Distance over five stages through the AMAZING Driftless area of Southwestern Wisconsin!! We will have breaks between stages (20-30min each).

RALLY CLASSES:
Based on what you bring to the ‘party’ your team will fit into one of two classes: Pro Stock Ninjas’ or ‘Top Fuel Wizards’ 🙂
*** Ninjas: compete using navigation aids only – GPS/Maps
*** Wizards: compete using navigation and average speed calculation aids – GPS/Maps/Tables/Apps

AWARDS: Given to top teams with lowest time variance

REMEMBER:
1. Refuel vehicle before arriving (additional gas stops will be on route)
2. GPS, Smartphone, etc. to aid in navigation
3. Something to write with/on
4. Camera for taking pictures (or use your phone).
5. Some extra cash
6. Night Light
7. Stop Watch
8. Walkies or hand held radios
9. Extra batteries
10. Flares or Strobe Flashlight
