OR: CSCC Saturday Rally Series – August 17

The Cascade Sports Car Club wraps up its Saturday Summer Series, a season of six events, on Saturday, August 17th. Their Road Rally program (aka Cascade Geargrinders) offers beginner-friendly time-speed-distance road rallies lasting three to four hours and starting and ending in the Portland area. Road rally is a game you play while going for a drive in the country. Play the game that takes you places. Season Flyer.
Schedule:
Friday, August 16
Q&A Zoom meeting: 7 PM
Saturday, August 17
First team starts: 10:01 AM
First team arrives at the finish (approx.): 1:30 PM
Winners are announced, and prizes are awarded soon after the last team finishes
Results emailed: Saturday evening or Sunday
Entry fee:
$25 per team for CSCC members (either driver or navigator is a Cascade member)
$35 per team for non-members
Entry requires a street-legal vehicle, a licensed and insured driver, a navigator, and a smart device (e.g., cell phone or tablet) running the Competitor – Richta GPS Checkpoints app (free app).
These events are conducted in accordance with Cascade Sports Car Club’s Road Rally Rules.
Online registration is required, and electronic waivers are signed on Motorsportreg.com. Day-of-event on-site registration is not available.
All communication about the rally occurs via email. Watch for emails and respond promptly.
Start location: Milwaukie Lowe’s — RReNews Note: We don’t know the starting location for sure, yet this is a common starting spot. We are trying to secure the location.
