NC: Cedar Mountain Rotary Fundraiser Road Rally

The Cedar Mountain Rotary is planning their Inaugural Road Rally for Saturday, Oct. 9, as part of a fundraiser for Rise & Shine. 

The objective of the rally is for a team of two, a driver and a navigator, to use a set of clues to reach designated points of interest in Transylvania County and Pickens County. The date was selected to take advantage of the scenic beauty of the area in the fall season. Those taking part will be asked to answer questions in the clues and take pictures of the designated points to score “points.” It is much like a scavenger hunt but on wheels. 

The starting and ending points will be at Oskar Blues Brewery, with rally teams being sent out in two directions over the same course. We will award the teams with the most points prizes at the end. We will be using a “Rotary” themed bag to hold a lunch for the team and any handouts from sponsors and the charitable recipient, Rise & Shine.
