If you love spirited driving on backroads, our dual-rally weekend with the Flamethrower Road Rally and Alligator Slide is for you! Here are two great winter rallies in one weekend; you can run these rallies in your street car with no special modifications. Grab a friend, and let’s go!
Alligator Slide Rally is a brisk Regularity (TSD) Rally that invites you to compete from Winona back to Red Wing on some of Wisconsin’s best driving roads. The course pits you against the same fun and challenging driving weather conditions in Flamethrower, but includes a mix of paved & gravel roads sure to keep you on your toes! You may expect to encounter sandy areas, snow, and possibly some ice. “Alligator Slide” refers to a classic driftless-area rally road that hasn’t been run in many years- until now!
When both are out rallying, they are rivals, yet Rallymaster Ted Rurup is sharing this weekend with Tyler Linner and the Flamethrower Road Rally, which runs on Saturday, February 22nd. Registration for both events and more information about the rallies is available at www.motorsportreg.com.
When posting this event, the 200-mile Alligator Slide is anticipated to be ± six hours, and its starting time was not established.
