The Bridges of Putnam County is a Divisional Tour Rally that is part of the SCCA Great Lakes Divisional Championship. It is a challenging Tour rally using GPS checkpoints. The route includes many well-groomed, yet curvy, gravel roads and crosses several covered bridges in Putnam County. Although designed to be challenging for Divisional competitors, the rally can be run by anyone who would like a full afternoon of road rallying with some spectacular scenery. The route is well defined and the challenge is to stay on time.
The route includes a tire warm-up followed by a 12+ miles odometer check that contains paved and gravel roads. There is no headquarter hotel for this event. Should you would like overnight accommodations, the rally committee suggests using a hotel near State Rd. 267 and I-70 (exit 66). There are many hotels at that exit and it is a 16 mile (less than 20 minute) drive from there to the rally start point.
