Join the SCCA San Diego Region on Saturday, June 8th, for a navigational TSD (time/speed/distance) Road Rally on public roads at assigned (legal) speeds. A score will be awarded based on your correct arrival time at checkpoints.
Our 75-mile route for Avocados, Vines & Country Lines Road Rally will start in Fallbrook (near the intersection of the 15 and 76) in northern San Diego county. It will take us through a two-hour tour of the scenic back roads of Temecula. We’ll end at Prohibition Brewery in Vista.
A beginner’s video will be shared online the week before the event. You will need paper, a pencil/pen, a watch or clock with a second hand, a stopwatch, and a clipboard. A valid driver’s license and proof of current liability insurance are required. Your vehicle must meet basic safety standards (e.g., lights, brakes, windshield wipers, and horn must work). The Driver’s meeting will be held on the morning of the event around 8:30 AM.
The cost is $30 per car and requires a street-legal vehicle, a Driver, and a Navigator. The Driver or Navigator must be an SCCA Member; Weekend Memberships are available for $20 during registration and can be used for credit toward a full SCCA Membership.
Results will be posted online. During the Avocados, Vines & Country Lines Road Rally, real-time results will be available through Scoreboard – Richta GPS, a free app.
