AL: Alabama Copperhead Road Rally

Note: Yes! This is the Alabama Region’s earlier August 10th rally; stay tuned for more details. We have reached out to the Rallymaster.

LET’S DO THIS AGAIN!! The Alabama Region SCCA practiced with a TREK in April 2023 with a huge 70% participation by individuals new to ALSCCA. We were blown away!

We had a TSD Rally and another Trek in 2024. It’s time for our second TSD Rally – you won’t be disappointed!

WHAT: Copperhead TSD Road Rally

REGISTRATION: On MotorsportReg, you can get answers to your questions and Register your team. The Copperhead TSD will be limited to 40 entries, and we will have a waitlist if necessary.

WHEN: Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 0715 AM. NOTE: Times are subject to change based on the number of entries.

WHERE: Classic Car Motoring, Irondale, AL

WHAT DOES IT COST? Per car, $50 with an SCCA Member, $70 if a Weekend Membership is needed

CLASSES:

• This rally is being run as an ‘unequipped’ event, with no direct links between distance and timing.
  All classes allow non-variable-rate timepieces (watches, stopwatches, Smartphones/Smartphone Applications) readable in seconds or 1/100th of a minute.
• There are four classes:
  • First Timer: neither the Driver nor the Navigator may have competed in an organized road rally of any type (TREK not included) before this event.
  • Novice: both the driver and the navigator have competed in fewer than five rallies of any type.
  • Experienced: all teams that do not qualify for one of the other two classes listed above.
  • Observer: more than two adults in the car (non-competitive, but still fun)
