Experience Colorado in the summertime with this week-long car rally. It will take you and your rally partner on an adventure trip through the Colorado Rocky Mountains. No prior rally experience is required, and any street-legal car is welcome. Bring that car you love to drive and explore the beauty of Colorado with us.
The Colorado Adventure Rally is co-Hosted by the Sports Car Club of America Continental Divide and Colorado Regions.
Chair and Rallymaster: Jim Crittenden
SCCA precheck and safety steward: Steve Gaddy
The 2024 Colorado Adventure Rally is not a race. It is a time-speed- distance (TSD) rally where the game is precision driving, maintaining an assigned average speed (never above the legal speed limit), and arriving at multiple checkpoints at precisely the right time. You’ll be assigned penalty points for being too fast or slow at each checkpoint. Trophies will be awarded to the teams with the fewest penalty points.
The rally route includes both paved and unpaved roads. Approximately 25% of the route is unpaved. All of the roads on the rally can be safely traversed by any street-legal car. This is a Regional Tour rally, so there are no tricks or traps, just easy-to-follow route instructions, gorgeous scenery, and roads that are great fun to drive.
