The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Rallye, a summertime tradition, returned after being put on hold last year because of COVID-19.
Chuck Larouere returned as Rallyemaster in 2021. He brought the latest technology with him, utilizing the RichtaGPS Rally app, so all competitors were automatically timed as they passed the “electronic” checkpoints. Seventy-seven competitors took on the challenge. The funds from this years’ rally went toward the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. The Society said this event brings in about 30% of their overall funding.
